So amazing! The location, the tent, the comforts of camping. Everything was thought about at this site. There was a pond, an air conditioned tent, a fire pit, a boat, lots of wildlife and MORE! We had the opportunity to add on a s'mores package, a charcuterie board (hands down better than a restaurant board), goat petting, goat milking, feeding chickens, axe throwing, and picking produce from a fresh garden. Me and my girls had so much fun. I highly recommend visiting this location for fun, relaxation, friendly people and wonderful memories! Thank you!!

My stay was truly amazing. Jeffery showed me the ropes around camp, and I can tell you, he has thought of every single thing! I'm so grateful for all the thought put into making me feel like I was being utterly spoiled while campin.

Really easy to get to, arrived with a warm welcome and a guide around the area and the tent. It was everything we could have asked for. Jeff was literally the best he checked on us and brought us fresh fire wood. He even gave our kids some feed to give to the goats. We were able to take our kids on a paddle boat for the first time on the pond that was by our tent. It was super clean and super homie! Loved every minute!

I use HipCamp a lot and this place easily went to the top of my list of favorites!! You can’t find many places where your dog can just run around and safely do whatever they want. But then there was also AC and goats and a gorgeous view of the sunset and stars! And literally everything you could need for comfort and convenience. Towels, lanterns, cooking and eating utensils, wifi, etc, etc! My pup and I were both very happy here and we can’t wait to come back and stay for longer!

This trip was so amazing I almost don't want to review it so it can stay out little secret! Lol.
The pond is a beautiful view and the land is perfect for letting the pups run their energy out. The hosts thought of every detail you need in order to just show up with your personal items and have an amazing glamping experience. We will absolutely be back.

Beautiful scenery and truly felt off the grid but with all the amenities you need! It was just what we needed to decompress in nature without having to pack the entire house to camp out!

Fantastic getaway location from Dallas! Both of my young kids had a great time. Jeff was very kind and helpful.
We loved exploring the property, using the boat, petting the goats, roasting marshmallows and watching the sun set and the stars come out.

We absolutely loved everything about staying here! Jeff was a wonderful host!! He was so nice and helpful but not invasive at all!! He has thought of so many things big and small to help make your stay more enjoyable!! There is Heating/ AC, Wi-Fi, indoor sink to wash hands and brush teeth, outdoor shower, hammocks, a canoe and so much more..the grass is even green and beautiful all around the campsite. We are already telling all our friends about this place !!!!

Once again Jeff you did it again! Me and my girlfriend friend brought our dog to hang out at the camp grounds and we had a great time. We booked before in the past and we were pleasantly surprised to see not only the updates made to the accommodations but also the same 5 star guest experience that made us book last time. With our visit being in the 20 degrees weather, Jeff made sure the propane tanks were ready, the firewood was on stand by and we had enough blankets and heaters. And honestly me and my girlfriend at times we too hot, which is no complaints what so ever. Really enjoyed staying Jeff, and will definitely be visiting again...again!😁

First time glamping and we will be back for sure. The whole place is amazing. Everything is thoughtfully stocked and decorated. Saw and heard tons of wildlife, all while staying warm inside the huge tent at night. Jeff is a great host and the baby goats were the icing on the cake!

This site is nothing short of peaceful and welcoming. We had an amazing time. From the moment we showed up Jeffery was welcoming and helpful. His property is well maintained and has quite a few friendly animals. This place is big time dog friendly. We loved cooking outside for all of our meals. And really enjoyed showering under the stars. 10/10 I will be coming back !

My wife and I had an awesome little experience out here in the Glamp like a Champ tent. It was very laid back with a nice fire. We came when it was super cold 33-40°. The tent and heaters handled the cold just fine. Everything was as described. We also got the spicy pickles and they were great! It's definitely a nice spot for 2 people and will likely be back in the future.

This was one of my most memorable experiences and it was all planned last minute. Jeffrey was so accommodating, welcoming, communicative, and an amazing host. The property is very well-kept, and he had a lot of amenities for us to enjoy including: a outdoor shower, a fire pit with wood, grills, entertainment, electricity, and running water. I would highly highly recommend getting the charcuterie board and the pickles! I think fall was the perfect time to visit as the sunset and the cozy fireplace with the pond in the background made for a perfect backdrop. We woke up the next morning to the soft sound of the rain on the tent. I would definitely come back here again!

A perfect blend of privacy and assistance. They were so friendly and helpful but not overbearing. We asked and he taught us how to prepare the fishing poles. Fishing was so fun because we ALL caught something. Sitting around the camp fire was great! The tent was spectacular. Even the animals were nice. Best camping experience ever.

This was a magical place to regroup as a family. The view of the water felt so peaceful.
Petting the cows & goats were a huge bonus.
Jeffrey went above and beyond to be sure we were well taken care of. Even got to meet his beautiful granddaughter.
The tent was very clean and beautifully decorated.
Lots of spots to hang out - they did a perfect job of making it as relaxing as could be.
Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

I loved Jeffrey's Glamp Like a Champ spot. It was an experience from beginning until the end. Jeffrey greeted us at the gate with a smile and open arms. He showed us the way to the CUTEST safari tent. Every detail was thought of. Order the charcuterie. Do it! You will not be dissapointed. After hiking at Lake Towokani we had dinner under the stars, Made on the Blackstone grill. After that a quick rinse in the outdoor shower. Heavenly in the brisk air of fall. Then cozy up by the fire on the hanging chairs with a glass of wine. All you have to do is supply the wine. Wood is already at the site.
We even got to feed one of the sweetest largest goats I've ever seen. Stinkey billy but worth it. See bunnies, birds, cows , cranes, turtles. Hear the coyotes howl!! We had such a nice time! Be as fancy or not at the Glamp spot.

Glamp like a Champ
This glamping spot is amazing and one of the best spots we’ve ever stayed at. Jeff was such a polite and hospitable host. He’s literally thought of everything you could possibly need to camp more than comfortably and I absolutely loved the fall/Halloween decor it was such a cute touch. Jeff and his sweet family member gave us homemade pickles and they were super fresh and delicious! There’s a beautiful area right outside to fish along with a little nice dock and we caught two nice sized bass and had a blast. We brought our two small pups and were very grateful to have such a large area for them to be able to roam around and try to act all tough in front of the goats and cows on property lol. They will definitely be having great dreams tonight and loved their stay as well it’s always better getting to travel with your dogs. Seriously, this place has everything you need, the views are stunning, and the bed was some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. Can’t forget to include the outside kitchen area that we cooked all of our meals on both the grill and we used the black stone which I highly recommend making a pizza and breakfast foods on. We plan to bring our friends next time. :)

Gorgeous spot! If you appreciate the sounds of nature, and actually seeings stars at night… 100% recommend. We got to hang out with the goats at sunrise, and just enjoy a beautiful, quiet, private space. Not to mention the pickles were out of this world so you can say look forward to coming back!

Glamp like a Champ was so much fun and exactly what we needed for a quick getaway away from Dallas. The tent was super well equipped with all the creature comforts you'd need, including WiFi and a TV (was great for watching the NFL game!). The Blackstone was a dream to cook on, our breakfast and dinners both turned out perfect. Perfect view from the deck to watch the sunset over the little lake, just gorgeous.
A/c was ice cold and the tent kept the cool in which was a welcome reprieve from the midday Texas heat. The bed was SUPER comfy! Our city dog had a blast exploring the area, watching the goats and cows with extreme confusion (haha) and even took a couple dips in the lake. Jeff was beyond accommodating and so friendly - don't skip on the farm fresh eggs or the pickles, both were incredible! This was a great little spot. Don't forget your fishing poles, we could see fish jumping around in the water the whole time we were there. Will definitely be back if we need a quick escape out of the concrete jungle!

We just left our glamping experience at Jeffrey’s land and we were blown away with how much hospitality Jeffrey and his family provided us. We were glamping with our two boys who are 3.5 and 2.5 years old and our newborn baby girl. We wanted a family get away where we could enjoy the outdoors but also some electricity at the same time ;). The boys had a blast fishing, playing with the axe board, relaxing in the hammocks, making smores by the firepit, showering in the outdoor shower, exploring the land, listening to the coyotes and other wildlife, and just being away from the city life for a little bit. Jeffrey provided us with everything we needed and more. There was a blackstone griddle, a grill, plenty of plates and silverware and cutting boards and cooking utensils, he even provided spices which is more than I can say for most airbnbs we have stayed at. We used the outdoor kitchen area for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had some amazing family meals under the stars. After dinner we started up the firepit and made s’mores as a family then used the outdoor shower to clean up before we snuggled up in our cozy tent and slept amazing though the night. The tent can get as cold as you like and the beds are very cozy. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 as there was 2 queen beds and we brought a pack n play for our 2 year old. The coffee in the morning hit differently when you can enjoy it outdoors.

This place is a gem...seriously. Jeff was an amazing host as he gave us a great walk through of the camp grounds, activities, and live stock on the property. We got to feed a baby goat, play with chickens. And our dog loved running around the property saying hi to the cows. He supplies many generators and propane tanks for working gas and electricity for hot showers and cool AC. There's also charging ports inside of the camp itself aswell as WIFI! Me and my girlfriend enjoyed relaxing and reading using his hammocks, and grilled so delicious burgers and steaks on his Blackstone grill! In addition fishing was amazing as me and my girlfriend caught 18 fish...yes 18 fish and we haven't fished in years! But Jeff was patient, taught us, and even helped us with our first few fish. In addition the fireplace was gorgeous as the sun set. The sunset is beautiful as it hits the lake turning pink,orange and yellow. We made smores, listened to music using his Bluetooth speaker, and just looked at the stars as you can see them clear due to low light pollution. This campsite is truely a gem, but shines the most with it's attention to detail. EVERYTHING was sanitary...yes even the outhouse. Complete spotless. Thanks again Jeff, we came at the hight of the summer and it was an amazing stay. This is the ideal campground to be at during the fall as it cools and down and WE WILL BE BACK!

Back 80 tent spot
We had the best time at Jeffrey’s glampsite! Ours dogs enjoyed the water, my husband and daughter spent hours fishing and the tent was just what we needed to get away from the city comfortably for the weekend.
Jeffrey was an amazing host who made sure we had everything needed for a relaxing weekend! He even brought us some from produce from his garden to add to our menu, including the most delicious cantaloupe I’ve ever tasted. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
