Rocky Ridge Resort has full hook up RV sites, primitive camping, 3 fully furnished cabins, 2 fully furnished travel trailers, laundry facility, ice machine, game and library center, and grilling areas. RV sites are gravel and back in and are 50amp electric (30 to 50amp converters are available to borrow with advance notice at booking), water, sewer, trash and WIFI. Nightly, weekly and monthly options available. We do not have restrooms or showers onsite; those are nearby at Dripping Springs and Okmulgee Lakes. Check-in must be before dark; once the sun goes down, it gets DARK! We are self check in/out; no onsite host. We are available from 7am to 7pm, as we both work full time jobs elsewhere.
Dripping Springs and Okmulgee Lakes are both just minutes away from our gated, quiet, privately owned property. Our 40-acre property contains open spaces and dense woods. Wild turkeys, deer and other animals roam about. Come enjoy the quiet seclusion of this property while enjoying nature all around you! Enjoy a hike on our 1-mile-long trail. About halfway through, you'll encounter our pond. More fishing is located just minutes away. Also nearby is a shooting range, Wildlife Management Areas, and more! We are about an hour south of Tulsa and just minutes from Okmulgee, Henryetta, Okemah and Beggs.

Weekend Trip to Kiamichi Mounds
I loved my time spent on Drue’s property! Not only was he extremely helpful, but his property is very well cared for!
They also gave me the most delicious bright orange eggs!!! Anytime I noticed I forgot something or had a question, I got a message with a solution right away.
There is enough land that you can really be comfortable here and have a nice secluded peaceful time. Many oaks on the property and even oak firewood!! There was even a kindling pile ready to go when I arrived— there are a lot of small details like that.
It’s a real treat and a great weekend if you like fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, or just hanging out! Definitely recommend it 😇 !!

It is a small campground but every site is full hook up & it had everything we needed, Including picnic table and fire pit . They want you to use firewood from their land , a nice plus not having to buy bundles like at other campgrounds . We would definitely stay here again if traveling nearby

It’s truly a hideaway! From the moment we checked in with the host on Friday, we didn’t see another soul all weekend — and that’s exactly what made it perfect. The peace and quiet here are unmatched. The forest around camp was alive with sounds of nature, and we even had a family of raccoons wander by one evening (so definitely keep your food locked up!).
The views are absolutely breathtaking — sunrise from this site is something you’ll never forget. I captured a few photos from sunrise and even some night shots, and they turned out incredible. This place would be magical in the fall when the colors start to change.
Just like other reviewers mentioned, having a 4x4 or AWD is smart. Our Crosstrek handled it easily, but if it rains, things could get interesting.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded getaway surrounded by nature, Hickman Hideaway is exactly that. We left feeling recharged and can’t wait to come back! 🌲✨

Loved staying at Buffalo Tree Ranch! The owner was super accommodating, even with my last minute reservation, and communication was great. It’s only about 40 minutes from the Ouchita NF. So if you’re planning on running some trails on the Oklahoma side but don’t want to worry about finding camp, this place is perfect for you. Very private and very little traffic noise after dark. I’m definitely going to stay here again.

Host was quick and responsive. Site location was level, easy to get to and a quick walk down to the lake, we were sad to only be there one day because it would have been nice to spend more time at the water. On a related note as a one night stay this totally worked for our rv, but the hook ups a very spread out, so a longer term stay will need to have extra hose or do some jockeying around.

Weekend Trip to Kiamichi Mounds
This place is awesome! First the host was great. Answered any questions i had and was very quick to communicate. The location is beautiful and peaceful right on the banks of the river with easy access to the water w a gravel bar and rock outcroppings. You have plenty of privacy and seclusion but it is only 5 min to town so very convenient too. They had fishing poles to use and i caught a fish on my 2nd cast. The area was all mowed around camp and very clean. There was a canoe and kayaks to use, a bbq grill to cook on, a fire pit with a fire already setup and plenty of firewood provided. The camper is older but perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to set up tents too. Drue and his family obviously put a lot of effort into setting this up and making sure i had everything i could need. I’ll definitely be back.

It's a very isolated and comfy camp site. We loved our stay. Only word of warning is make sure you have 4 wheel drive or at least are comfortable with a hike to the site. The owner was fantastic and we are very likely to return.

20 ft campervan

Rocky Ridge is a quiet place in a remote Oklahoma wooded area. Udonna is fabulous. She provided location photos and the best route to take. (Could have avoided a muddy dirt road by using her directions vs my GPS.) Only 50A is available and I didn't have an adapter. Udonna purchased and brought one to me, so I would have power overnight. Highly recommend Rocky Ridge!

The camp host was amazing, he definitely helped us out. 4x4 required! We parked at the front and hiked in. But the camp site was great and right on the water. Highly recommend!
