Jamie has such a beautiful piece of the country. The campsite area is cute and well away from her house and barn. The lake is a short walk out the gate by the campsite and easy to find walking along the mowed paths. I worked, hooked up our rooftop tent trailer, drove about 25 minutes and felt like we were hours away from home, slept amazing, woke up, packed up and went to work. The short break between work felt different here and I will be back because of it.

A really wonderful place. We met Jamie and her father-in-law, and were able to help feed the horses. The trails down to the lake are very well kept; even with a large 2-person fishing kayak we were able to get down to the water easily with a kayak cart. This is not on the busy end of the lake. We kayaked and fished for 3 hours and saw only one other boat (although it was a very windy day) so peace and quiet was constant. You can't find places like this on a lake without having other campsites right next to you, and Jamie is an absolutely outstanding host who was eager to help with anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We will certainly keep this site bookmarked.

Lovely private camp site with direct access to lake trails! The host was very nice and accommodating! It was storming the night we arrived and they let us park our van in their large insulated shop.
Our dogs also loved running around the big open field and exploring the lake trails.
Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back again soon!

It was a great spot for tent camping if you want privacy. I could have my dog off leash. They also have a great fire pit plus trails going down to a lake and around the property. Great communication for the very nice owner.

We loved this spot! My dog is older now so it was really nice to have him be able to run around in a big field with soft grass. I put his booties on when we walked through the trails. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful, the woods are fun to explore, and the campsite is clean and private. Jamie was so welcoming. We will definitely be back here.

Lovely spot with shade trees and open, quiet land. We could hear the water fowl and water lapping in the lake behind the camp spot. We didn't see or hear anyone from when we arrived until we left. It was a calm place we needed to pause and reset.

Wonderful Experience! The night sky was beautiful, the land was perfect and Jamie was so so sweet. Just an amazing experience all around. I suggest bringing your fishing poles! The fish love to bite out there. Definitely coming back soon!

Tent camping at Willow Grey Ranch is such a pleasure. Many things to do and see. I can’t recommend enough, our site at Lone Tree was amazing. Jamie is an exceptional host. Not our first time there and for sure not the last. This spot is more hip than most of the hip camping you may find. All star recommended!

My mom and I recently did an overnight on Jamie's land. I love the cut trails that led to the lake and passed an awesome cactus garden. The wide Open sky is perfect for stargazing. Very clean and very safe. I hope to return to do a solo.

We loved camping with Jaime as our host. She provided great instructions, was always available via text when we needed anything, and being near the horses was really nice. The proximity to the lake is also ideal. Great experience and would absolutely come back to camp here again.

The homeowner was the sweetest lady ever. She made my 5 year olds first ever camping experience unforgettable. He got to pet horses, catch some fish and make s'more's. I can’t imagine camping anywhere else local after finding this incredible ranch with an even more wonderful owner!

We absolutely loved our stay at the ranch! We could have not asked for a better long weekend! Such a peaceful beautiful place! Jaimie is a wonderful host. She greeted us at the front of the ranch, and gave us the scoop of her property. Offered any assistance needed during our stay. You could not have asked for a better host.
Originally we booked at the site near the shop, but was offered the other site as well since it was open. We took her up on it.
We stayed in a 13-ft camper trailer. We had plenty room to maneuver the camper around for that perfect spot that we loved. Being that the lake is right down the trail we kayaked a couple of times throughout our visit. I highly recommend that. The shore of the lake is muddie as is as you walk into the lake to push the canoe or kayak out, so I highly recommend water shoes. There are some trails to walk through we did it during the day and at night. Night time was a little spooky it was so dark. We loved it! We found our new favorite spot. I hate writing a good review because I want to keep this place to myself, but for Jaimie's sake it's a great place to camp. Once again thank you Jaimie! We will see you in a couple of weeks.

I really enjoyed walking through the woods near the lake, deer tracks everywhere. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful. I also learned about the different cactus they had growing in the front yard. I met the four legged members of the ranch: Dogs, cats, and horses. Being up close with the horses made my day! Jamie was very accommodating making sure my stay was enjoyable. My stay was very relaxing. Thank you!

What a lovely property Jamie has and it's made even better by her hospitality. It had rained A LOT before my visit and they had plenty of space to relocate my camp spot to a less muddy spot. Jamie was also really accommodating and supportive of my situation which required some flexibility in arrival and use of the space.
I wish I could've stayed longer to explore trails around the lake more.

Outstanding space to camp. Wide open area with paved fire pit and another area with thoughtful paving stone within a small grove of persimmon trees. It's an expansive field that's well kept and near enough to the host without sacrificing privacy. Jamie is an absolutely incredible host. She taught my young daughter quite a bit about horses. She also mows trails just off the property so we were able to have a nice walk through the nature and down by the lake. It's quiet, safe, and serene. This is a peaceful and beautiful place that's an absolute gem of a find on Hipcamp and we'll absolutely be back!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the camping site provided by Jamie. It was surrounded by trees, covered with gravel that added to the clean feeling and had a spot for campfires, making it even better we expected. The lake was just a minute’s walk away, making it a perfect location. Jamie gave us he change to meet her gorgeous horses and was a warm and friendly host. I would definitely revisit this place again!

Great little spot. Nice firepit with drop grill on a flagstone patio. Location leads to multiple trails around the property and heading down to the lake. Host was super nice, communicative, and friendly. Will be back soon.

My two friends and I absolutely loved our stay!
What we loved most about our stay was not just how beautiful her land is and the privacy we received, but Jamie’s respect towards us.
Jamie’s friendliness and care.
She really took us in with open arms
We told her it was our very first time camping and she was so kind to help us set the tent that was borrowed from her. Jamie also had the fire pit all ready to go. She gave us tips and her personal number incase of anything. We felt safe with her. Beautiful horses she has , beautiful land. An amazing experience. Can not wait to return.

Amazing part of their property. Great deep fire pit and a couple of paved areas. Right next to corp land for wonderful walks down to and around the lake.
Wonderful for stargazing and peace and quiet.
Host went out of their way to make sure we found the site as we arrived after dark.
