Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive mountain terrain (rocky). The one RV site is for 16 ft. or less vehicles and smaller teardrop trailers with limited hook-up and no dump station. Restroom and shower facilities are located within the park. Individual campsites DO NOT have onsite toilets. Forest setting while still close to stores in case of forgotten items. Variety of small wildlife in the area. We have such a great time staying in the cub cabin. It was two adults and two kids and two dogs, and we made the Space work really well. We created lots of memories by the fire and explored the area with some hiking. The hosts, Brian and Misty, were very responsive and even came down to meet us one morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean campground. Level rv sites, bbq pit, fire Pit, ice available onsite, quiet. The bath house is super nice and clean. Cute cabins if anyone is looking for a cabin. We have an RV and the full hook ups made our stay so nice. Great owners.

The site had trees that provided shade that helped keeping our camper cool in 97° temps (I’m from Ohio). We all stayed comfortable. I will be honest and inform potential renters, the entrance is a bit steep so just keep that in mind, other than that, Tonya was extremely kind and understanding and a 10/10 host

A fantastic place to get away! Brian and his wife are fantastic people who care about what they do. Us, coming from West Texas, they made us feel right at home and offered any advice they had. Great location if you are looking to ride the trails! The cabins have a Blackstone grill, mini fridge and a microwave along with a full size tub and shower. If we ever get a chance to go back that direction, I will definitely be in touch! Excellent experience!

Weekend Trip to Barker Gap
We loved staying at the Bear Den! Brian and Misty were super nice and helpful. They checked in with us a couple times to make sure we were good. They answered any questions we had about the surrounding area. We especially loved how they took every little detail into consideration with the cabin and campground. We will definitely be back!

Nice quiet place to get away. Kids and I enjoyed the stay, trail down to the river spot is a nice addition in my opinion. Tight in some areas but I was able to get my full size duramax no problem definitely would recommend a 4x4. Had a nice breeze all 3 days which is nice in June weather.
