Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Enjoy a peaceful country stay beneath the trees in Rogers County, Oklahoma. Our simple RV and tent site sits along the wooded edge of our spacious front property, offering plenty of shade and a quiet place to relax while still being convenient to area highways and attractions. The campsite is located on a fairly flat area that was once used as a driveway, making it suitable for a small RV, camper van, or tent. Water is available at the site. This is a rustic camping spot without electric or sewer hookups, so guests should plan accordingly. We are approximately four miles east of historic Route 66, five miles from Highway 20, one mile from Shepherd’s Cross, and five miles from Will Rogers Downs Racetrack and Casino. Whether you are traveling Route 66, attending a nearby event, or simply looking for a peaceful overnight stop in the country, our wooded property offers a convenient place to slow down and settle in. Please note that this campsite is located on the same property as our home and is visible from portions of the residence. It is not a secluded backcountry site, but guests will have their own designated camping area and plenty of room to enjoy the trees, fresh air, and sounds of the Oklahoma countryside.The campsite is a fairly flat, grassy area along the wooded edge of our front yard. It was previously used as a driveway, so the ground is more firm and level than the surrounding lawn. Mature trees provide shade and a natural backdrop, while the open area offers room for a tent, camper van, or small RV. A nearby outdoor water spigot is available for guest use. The site is easily accessible from our driveway and is located on the same property as our home.
