Fossil Creek Ranch is a beautiful stone horsebarn conversion in a beautiful country setting. It has 7 main bedrooms and other sleeping areas. There is also an small 13 space RV Park - Bois d’Arc RV Park or Bodark. There is plenty of outdoor fun with hiking trails, including Creek exploration. From the RV park it is approximately a 15 minute walk to the creek, 10 minutes from the barn. A truck or SUV can usually drive right to the creek if weather is decent. You can rent the barn or stay in the RV Park.

At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station. The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Delightful! Courtney is an awesome host! The campground is small (currently 8 sites) and no frills. Most of the other campers seem like long-term folks. All sites were neat and tidy. The campground itself is quiet. However... it is close enough to Ft Sill artillery range that firing might rattle the windows. Wifi is provided but I didn't use it. Tmobile Home Internet had 2-3 bars 5G. Verizon was about 1-2 bar LTE. I was able to work during the day using the Tmobile. I saw spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is close. Stores in Lawton are about 30 minutes away. This is my kind of campground. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Booked this about a month out for my trip thru Texas. The RV park is pretty new according to Anthony the owner who greeted me after my arrival. It's very well laid out with 10 newly built tiny homes and many pull thru fully equipped RV spaces. The park also contains full bathrooms, laundry facilities, dog park, pickle ball court, code enabled entry gate and a disc golf course. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay especially if you like full rv hookups resort like atmosphere spotless clean amenities. The price to stay was a bargain considering all the amenities provided.

They met us when we arrived, gave us a great tour of the VW Krankenhaus (which as former owners of several different VWs, we enjoyed!), showed us where to find the facilities, and left us to set up camp. They were friendly and their place was as described.

I found the location very easily and the owner even warned me of a dip in the road so I came in from a different direction (which they outlined to me) because I have a relatively low to the ground clearance trailer that I tow. Mark and Angela were very helpful reaching out to me before and during my trip. They are both VW enthusiasts and Angela gave me a tour of their VW collection in and around their pole barn garage. They were both very hospitable and I enjoyed my stay there. They made their cabana bathroom available for my stay which was super nice. Would highly recommend if you're in the Oklahoma City area as a place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Paradise Valley Outlanders Plot

It was a lovely place, though the drive ways were quite narrow. Our trailer is 28 ft and would be workable, but a longer one may be challenging, depending on the driver. However, because of the proximity of cellular, radio transmission towers and a wind farm, my wife was unable to stay as she is highly sensitive to both EM band radiation and high voltage electrical fields. It's unfortunate because the host seems genuinely wonderful and the area was really nice. I did not have a reaction and think I would have slept very well, but my wife did and couldn't stay in the area, so I would recommend it for anyone who is not EM sensitive, but not for anyone who is.

My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky. Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive. Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!
