Launch your boat in the river and cast a line for some of the best bass fishing around. You can also reel in crappie, channel cats, flatheads, and sunfish—what a feast! If you’re planning to stay overnight, choose from the two camping spots near the river, especially popular with anglers. Head up to the small visitor center for great views of the river, and watch the commercial tug boat operations.
