We have two private sites, a primitive campsite directly on the Lake of the Ozarks, and a RV spot with full hook-ups (water, 50 amp AC, and sewer). The two sites are separated from each other, but both have access to the lake, including kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, excellent fishing, a boat-ramp, floating dock and a one-mile perimeter nature/hiking trail. *** NOTE *** From January until early May, the lake level is dropped about five (5) feet, so boating and fishing access range from difficult to impossible (though, arrowhead hunting is a fun activity you might enjoy during the low water months!). Primative Campsite - A private 1.5 acre campsite with a firepit (and plenty of wood to burn in it) and direct access to the Lake of the Ozarks. Amenities and features of the campsite include: a private camp toilet with a door and a concrete pad, picnic table on a gravel pad with an umbrella, a fully equipped cornhole game, fishing pole holders, a garbage can and three (3) level wood tent platforms. RV site - the RV site also has a picnic table with umbrella, a garbage can and a fully equipped cornhole game. Nearby, the RV site also has access to a very nice private pit toilet, a gazebo with lights and an electrical outlet, and a firepit stocked with firewood.

While they continue their love of backyard chickens with their small egg and hatchery operation, they have expanded their interests to an array of friendly farm animals including horses, milk cows, pigs, sheep, ducks, geese, and an occasional turkey or two. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, join in the daily milking, and participate as much as they like in the farm chores. Camping is primitive with only an outhouse and no shower facilities. There are MANY thorn trees, so hikers must have proper footwear.  Fire ring, wood and a grate for cooking are provided.  Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance.  All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Parking area is at the end of the driveway and a cart is provided to take your gear across the bridge. We loves the campsite far away from a big city, a highway or a railroad. A very lovely way to arrive there, crossing a kind of a bridge 😃 And also just a few miles away from Ha Hatonka State Park, where you have several lovely trails.

Enjoyed my tent camping and canoeing weekend stay from site 12. This Hipcamp was well appointed with a picnic table, fire ring and a conveniently located indoor bathroom with flush toilet, shower and outdoor sink. On the tent sites there was room for privacy and flat ground located high on a high ridge that provided both a scenic view and nice breeze. Communication prior to arriving with the property owner and directions were helpful. Access to the Niangua River was very convenient as the tunnel dam entry point is about one mile away.

Easy to maneuver our 35 ft motorhome while towing our Jeep. Was a great place to stay, coming and going back and forth to our grandson's baseball tournament just 10 minutes away. Quiet campground in March. Dirt road for a few miles and whistle bridge to cross to get to the campground, which were not a problem at all for us. Satellite friendly. 2- bars for Verizon service but AT&T service was good.

My husband and I brought our camper down for a couple of days. Steven, the owner, went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues getting to the site. It's a beautiful, well-maintained area near the Niangua. Highly recommend!

Was very quiet, beautiful view even before everything started to grow after winter. The stars were amazing! Not a lot of light pollution there. Make sure you bring wood as there is little to no wood there to be found. Very clean location, however the bathroom could have used a little looking after in the 2 days we were there no one checked to see if there was even toilet paper, or that it was clean. Other then that great place.

Realy nice area. Camp sites were far enough away from other camp sites that it gave that alone feeling. The trails were nice and well kept. Could see all the stars at night. And having the in house bath room and rec area was nice too. Most of all was impressed with how nice and helpful they were. Good people. Thanks for everything.

If you’re looking to catch done easy catfish, look no further! We unfortunately weren’t able to land ourselves any bass like we had hoped but that was no fault of the hosts! Mike is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and he checked up on us about twice everyday, usually once in the morning and once at night to see if we needed anything or had any issues! The campsite has 3 different platform sizes to accommodate whatever type you have, plenty of seating, and a nice and deep fire pit that has both a grill attachment as well as a hanging arm for something above the fire. Rod holders are alongside the rock wall at the edge of the camp near the water edge, and as said before when the water level is up this is definitely a pristine fishing spot, lots of cover for the fish to hold to, even right in front of your camp! The kayaks were a nice touch in case you don’t have a boat, you can still enjoy the water and they hold more than enough fishing equipment if you want to get out deeper. Overall definitely would recommend this site to anyone looking to vacation in the Warsaw area, can’t find much better than the amenities Mike has provided for you at the price.

We loved camping here, beautiful area and plenty of space to explore. I appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the owners, they are lovely. There is a nice bathroom and coffee area, and a hang out area separate from the camping site. Very dog friendly. Will be back!

The hosts truly went above and beyond, and it’s clear how much care they’ve put into creating these camping and RV spots. Everything is clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully set up. It checks all the boxes for a great getaway -fishing, corn hole, dog‑friendly spaces, gorgeous night skies, and more. We’re already planning our next visit!
