Tucked away in the Missouri countryside on an old homestead, Firefly Cottage feels secluded while keeping coffee shops, restaurants, and everyday conveniences just 10 minutes away. Spend your morning birdwatching with a cup of coffee, your afternoon exploring Knob Noster State Park just 5 minutes away, and your evening relaxing in the private hot tub. 🏡 The Space Firefly Cottage is thoughtfully designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Inside, you'll find warm wood walls, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, dual hot plates, a toaster oven, open shelving, and an apartment-sized refrigerator. Thoughtful touches throughout the cottage make short stays simple and comfortable. The primary sleeping area features a king-sized bed in a cozy loft, with a large window at the foot of the bed offering peaceful views of the surrounding nature. Please read the important loft information below before booking. ‼️ Important Loft Information The king-sized bed is located in a cozy loft accessed by stairs or a ladder-style entry. Because the bed occupies most of the loft space, guests should expect to crawl or scoot into bed rather than walk around the sleeping area. This is part of Firefly Cottage's unique charm, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Firefly is best suited for active adults who are comfortable climbing, crouching, and navigating unconventional sleeping spaces. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations, knee or back concerns, balance issues, frequent nighttime bathroom needs, or those who prefer a traditional bedroom setup. A downstairs sofa bed is available as a backup sleeping option. However, Firefly Cottage is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. 🌳 Outside This is where Firefly Cottage truly shines! Enjoy a private hot tub beneath string lights, peaceful countryside views, pond access, fishing, and a paddle boat for leisurely afternoons on the water.
