Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water. Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4) We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Bring your SXS's for days of backroad riding that spans 4 counties (Perry, Ste Genevieve, Madison, and Bollinger). It is a 25' wide x 52' long back in lot that will accommodate a camper/RV. Lot O offers full hookups (private water hydrant, 50/30/20 amp electric, private sewer dump station) camper/RV site. This lot has a gravel parking pad and a grassy area with a fire pit. This site is approximately 75' from a 2 acre grassy field and backs to a 2 acre wooded area with a walking trail that provides mid day shade. Lot O is located in a more private area at the back of the campground and one of the farthest from amenities such as bathrooms, shower house, 30x50 pavilion, bar and grill. These amenities are currently under construction and expected to be completed in late 2024.

Short version: great accommodations, electricity hookup at applicable sites, large modern patio area for events, restrooms are very nice and modern with private shower stalls. Staff are great, small kitchen and bar for walk-up window purchases. Great for families. Long version: I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked here but I have zero regrets! Daniel was so welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. Camp Site #1 was a great spot with excellent accommodations. It has a water spigot and electricity access for any power needs, including keeping devices charged or running an extension cord. There are restrooms each have a shower stall. These are not like state park or gas station toilets and showers. These are very nice, modern, clean, and everything works. The shower also has an adjustable head, which was a great feature. Other great features include a nicely designed large concreted patio area with tables and chairs, fans and TVs. This is all under a steel roof and houses the restrooms and showers. They host events here for campers like karaoke night, games, food trucks, and others. This place does have its own small kitchen and bar with a walk-up window right next to the patio area. Get hot food, drinks including soda and alcohol, and deserts like ice cream. While they do not have their own lake or pool, there are swimming locations within 20 minutes of here.

10/10 You must camp here!!! Daniel is an amazing host, and we absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was easy, comfortable, and so welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially loved how dog-friendly the campsite is, and everyone in the community was incredibly kind and welcoming. There’s also a great bar and grill just a short 3-minute walk away, and the restrooms/showers were very clean, nicely remodeled, and had great hot and cold water. The only small suggestion we’d make would be adding stairs or a better path down to the campsite since it’s a bit hilly going from the car to the site. Other than that, everything was wonderful! We had such a great experience and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone.

Let me say!!! Daniel was an amazing host! We showed up hours after check-in, and he was still there to greet us with a smile. He was super accommodating and made our stay easy and enjoyable. The pizza on-site is so good — highly recommend grabbing one. Our tent site had electric and water hookups and enough space for a few tents if you plan it right. Even though it rained and we had to leave early (our own lack of prep!), we loved how private and quiet it was. Our dog had a blast running around, too. The bathrooms and showers were surprisingly nice — not an afterthought like some campgrounds. My only suggestion would be adding a small grill grate over the fire pit for cooking hot dogs or brats. We’ll definitely be back!

Lake Perry Campground, was a nice little place. The owners are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very nice and shower was hot! I found out that it is a tankless shower, so there will never be a shortage of hot water. We came there as we were off roading trails nearby, and there is a lot of them. All in all, it was worth the stay, and whenever we come back to the area to off road, we would definitely stay there again!

Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had. Free firewood, super private, easily accessible, bathrooms near, super clean. Overall a 1000/10 experience. We will absolutely be back and I recommend every else visits as well. Also, the owner is incredibly nice and helpful.

Overall this was a cute little site. Not as private as we would have liked but everything was very clean and easy to find. Bathrooms and showers still under construction but it looks very promising! Owner was super nice and even brought wood around to all the sites. A lot of open space for the pup too! 🐶 If you're looking to socialize this is definitely the spot!

Daniel was an excellent host! He checked on us AND brought us fire wood. The campground field was nicely cleared and huge which allowed for privacy and setting up exactly how we wanted. The area is beautiful and the lake/creeks were well worth the trip! Highly recommend this spot!!

Loved our tent site ....campground is coming along beautifully and was a pleasure to stay at . The host dan was awesome helped with anything we needed day or night . Would definitely come back and would definitely recommend this campground to all our friends. It was a pleasure to stay at lake perry campground and we definitely will do it again . The host as well deserves 5 stars he was awesome

New build but no bathroom facilitie

The owner was very nice and helped us get settled into our campsite. We noticed there was construction at the road which I expected. I also noticed where the bath house was and it was all walled and had a roof and door and everything. So we set up camp all was going well until we decided to walk up the 50 yards uphill on a gravel road to the bath house. Upon entering the bath house we noticed there were pipes everywhere and a sink on the floor and no walls. It was obvious that the bath house was not functionable. That being said on the site it did mention that the bath house would be functioning by summer of 2024 so I obviously assumed that there would be a bath house with bathroom facilities. The last there were no bathroom facilities and we were forced to use the outdoors as such. Not a pleasant experience. If you have a trailer it's fine if you have a camp tent I would recommend elsewhere
