PeaceTree Farms is an outdoor resort and event venue in Northeastern Missouri. Our mission is pretty simple - we want to provide guests with a beautiful place to connect with nature and each other. PeaceTree Farms is where good times and memories grow, and it is our genuine pleasure to provide a special place to unwind, explore, and celebrate. We offer many types of accommodation with semi-private access to 180 acres of Missouri nature and wildlife. Go for a swim, take a kayak around Goose Island, or explore one of the many trails across the property. Fishing on the 7-acre lake is permitted on a catch-and-release basis. Our campsites are fully stocked with firewood, and we request that you do not transport firewood on or off the property. For those who want to enjoy PeaceTree in more comfort, our air-conditioned private rooms and cottage offer amenities that will make your stay even more relaxing. Day passes are available from 7 am until sunset for guests who aren't staying overnight. We take pride in making PeaceTree Farms an accessible place for people of all abilities to enjoy the outdoors, so please let us know how we can better accommodate your stay. Wow what a beautiful place! Katie and her family were so welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was clean and cool. The lake was lovely and fun. The sky views, 10/10! There was even a lil tarp over our camping spot’s firewood to keep it dry for guests (so thoughtful). My friends and I enjoyed our stay~ our only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer because we had to go back to work Monday - UGH!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was very nice and clean. The real gem is the property tho. It was very private and the lake was fully stocked with different canoes and kayaks to enjoy. Katie was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely come back here!

The Cottage
It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin had AC, which was fantastic. But even during a July heatwave the property was a nice temperature to walk around, especially the woodland area. The host was great, and very responsive! I will stay here again.

Quiet and quaint it’s perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating get away. The farms name is perfect, bc it really is so peaceful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and absolutely loved exploring the farm. Seeing and hearing all the wildlife and what nature has to offer was the highlight of our trip. Katie and her husband are incredibly nice and accommodating anything you may need. The cabin was clean and neat and seriously so perfect for a solo or couples get away!

Reflection Ridge
I scored a mid-week “Reflection Ridge” campsite reservation and had a night to remember. From Katie’s escort to the spot, pointing out the fresh baby geese swimming in the lake, to my secluded, pristine campsite with a gorgeous view of the water. I can’t recommend this property enough for a tranquil, awe-inspiring stay. Thank you PeaceTree! I cannot wait to return soon!

Peacetree Farms was full of spectacular views. We took the canoe around the lake for a few hours, walked the maintained trails on property, and enjoyed listening to the song birds all weekend. Katie was wonderful, helped me get to the site after a late arrival, provided firewood, picnic benches and flat land to set up on. Fantastic trip will be back again to see how everything flushes out in summer!

Many of the reviews detail the available activities, all of which are worth taking advantage of, but what I find most compelling is when a host makes sure basic needs are met. Many of the tent sites you find on Hipcamp are open fields, peppered with picnic tables and fire rings, but PeaceTree's sites are carefully chosen and tailored to a camper's needs. The property is very hilly as one would expect being nestled between the Northern Prairies and the Ozark Foothills, but each site is level, well protected with trees, and a short walk from the nearest porta-potty. A chilly night with an intense hail storm meant a warm campfire was a necessity. While there was plenty of dead wood lying on the ground, a full load of cut firewood was delivered to us shortly after we arrived. Most of the places you find on Hipcamp provide a place to rest and have a few unique quirks, but there are very few rare exceptions like PeaceTree Farms that is such a magical place that hosts like Katie and her family can't help but share it with a community that has a voracious appetite for breathtaking views, thrilling activities, and one-of-a-kind nature experiences. We were just passing through Northeast Missouri on the last night of a roadtrip, looking for nothing more than a level pad and a fire ring, and were fortunate to have stumbled upon PeaceTree Farms. We arrived with few expectations and left our only regret being that we could not spend at least a week to take in the full experience.

As always, Katie and her husband are amazing hosts! They had the haunted hayride, and although I didn’t get to go (due to having my 2 dogs while camping), it sounded like it was so much fun from those who did get to go! I left early from my trip due to rain, but love this place and have been many times. Will continue to camp @ PeaceTree. It is so serene and just beautiful!

Reflection Ridge
This was one of the most beautiful campsites we’ve experienced. It was quiet. We were secluded. The view of the lake and the hills was mesmerizing. We got up just a little early to watch the sun come up. Katie was friendly and accommodating. Free Fire Wood - YAY! We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin #2 @ Peacetree Farm. Katie was a wonderful host. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and our room had nice cool A/C with a serene view into the woods. They were welcoming of our dog and had a goofy kitten that came to play with her frequently. Stargazing was amazing; being in such a remote location and far from any major city lights. We saw several shooting stars and could clearly see the Milky Way. We walked the 1-mile loop around the gorgeous 7 acre lake and saw some breathtaking views along the way. We relaxed by the water and did some fishing - we didn't catch any but we saw another group pulling out a few good sized fish. There weren't a lot of other campers there and everyone was spread out over the property so it felt like we mostly had the place to ourselves. We had our own fire pit (wood provided) with chairs provided and also had access to our own charcoal grill. We had access to a canoe and kayaks and had planned to paddle around the lake with our dog but ran out of time. We hope to go back again in the future. This was a wonderful getaway for us to relax in nature. I highly recommend this place if you're looking looking for a very peaceful getaway in a gorgeous remote location.

The Cottage
Great find! We enjoyed the peaceful environment, scenic views, access to lake with various kayak/ canoe/ boating options! Would definitely stay here again. Katie was so kind to help us start a camp fire. Such a sweet heart!

Sunny Meadow - Site 2
As always, PeaceTree is just wonderful! The heat was miserable, but the beauty and peacefulness by far outdoes the heat. Looking forward to a late October camp out to see all of the beautiful fall colors!

It’s a wonderful place for camping. I had a great time and enjoyed everything Katie provided for us on her farm. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience camping here.
