Buena Vista Farms

10 sites · RVs145 acres · Chapin, IL
Buena Vista Farms was created first as a wedding venue, thus the Beautiful Views all around developed for great photo ops. After 5 years hosting events on our 145 acre farm, we developed a campground. Tiny Home cabins have been added more recently for groups of up to 21 people. What should the next phase of development be? This summer we are working on the office to add gift shop and camp store in the Old Grain Bin. We welcome weekend RV'ers, and those who want a Glamping experience in the Tiny Home cabins as well as work campers who stay a bit longer. We will keep a few RV spots open all winter.Learn more about this land:Buena Vista Farms means beautiful view! Welcome to our piece of paradise. Our family bought “The Land” when our kids were young and it became our weekend camping, fishing, and exploring retreat. We now want to share our rolling hills, fishing ponds and country life with you. Hidden down a farm lane, our land is perfect for spending time in nature. We have well-maintained grass walking trails, two 1-2 acre spring fed, 35 ft deep, well stocked fishing ponds, kayaks, row boats, fishing dock and waders for walking in the creek. Overview

About

One of the most beautiful parks in Illinois boasts beautifully wooded terrain, a sparkling lake, and well-maintained facilities. This 3,323-acre site is just made for camping, boating, picnicking and hiking. Also fishing, horseback riding and all manner of winter recreational adventures.

Forested gullies and scenic crests surround Siloam Springs. 12 miles of hiking trails go from valleys to flatlands, including a combo 6-mile hiking/backpacking trail. BYOH and ride the 23 miles of equestrian trails covering ridgetops and steep, wooded valleys. Sleepover in the separate horse camping area.

Slumber under the stars in one of the 98 Class A campsites or 84 Class B campsites. Four hike-in backpack campsites and the special group campground ensure everyone's taken care of.

Siloam Springs offers visitors restorative natural beauty in rough forested terrain with wildflowers galore. The gorgeous spring-fed lake is not swimmer-friendly, however.
