Weekend Trip to Apple acres

Very peaceful and quiet place to get away from the noise and enjoy a nice cabin along with A fire pit and swimming in the pond. the hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the countryside.

Without a doubt, best camping site ever! 90+ degree sunny day and under the canopy our camper was cool(ish) and the breeze from the field was almost like AC. We had friends over for a cookout (under the canopy) and their infant daughter had no issues with the heat. This family was awesome. We met Jonathan's dad, Gary who told us all about the 5 generation history of the property and gave us a tour of the wedding venue next door which they also operate. Jonathan's wife was busy around the property making everything beautiful. The campsite was very well kept, Firewood was available (small charge) and the smokeless firepit (you read that right) was so nice. With a couple more sites underway this is going to be very well recieved in the Agrotourism community. Thanx for a great experience Jonathan. I hope we pass this way again.

Weekend Trip to Havendell Farm and Wayside

We love staying at Havendell Farm! It's so easy to get to and find - very obvious from the road where you turn in - and the space is so quiet and peaceful. The port-o-potty and handwash station are clean, just one less thing to worry about when you're car camping!

Weekend Trip to Martin H.’s Land

The site really is out in the woods and secluded, we loved it! Hiking the grounds you will want full length pants and hiking boots, it is very rugged but the waterfall and creek area are close to the site and great to see! We went to nearby Depauw nature park and Fern Cliff nature preserve, both within 15ish minutes away and beautiful places. Martin and Jennifer were very helpful and friendly with directions. I would recommend this site, especially as a good option for hiking the dozens of nearby parks without staying in a crowded campground.

Weekend Trip to Camp with Alpacas at Aris Farm

I loved tent camping here! Tracey was so nice, even had a fire for me since I was running behind. Toured the animals. The coyotes howling and barking off the distance, added to the outdoors of it. Nice area and safe.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Glen Farm Stay

Second time here and this place is wonderful. Secluded and quiet - with a farm nearby! The dogs are friendly and the goats are amazing. Try the apple bake, it was delicious

Weekend Trip to Acacia Farms

This place is so amazing!! A must stay if you’re passing through. Gorgeous little tiny home, charming decor, and right in the goat pasture!! The outdoor shower looked out on the herd of little goats and it was just so magical! What a wonderful gem! The host was super responsive and accommodating, making sure my dog’s needs were considered. Absolutely check this spot out!!

What a treat! If you find yourself in the area, this place is exquisite. One of the best hipcamping spots around. Butch and Laura are wonderful hosts. The creek holds treasure.

The most beautiful setting with the most perfect hosts!

It's not right of the freeway, but if you have a little time, this is a great place. It's small (only 5 rv spots and a cabin) and the owner is very helpful and friendly. Very clean, green grass, trees and a pond for swimming and fishing. I would go again

Dwight was a very attentive and generous host. He inquired as to our ETA and then helped us back our rig in. He was very attentive and helpful with an issue with our rig. Would love to return to spend more time at this beautiful property!

Laurita's Casa Vieja

The farm is located 15 minutes west of Indiana Universities Memorial Stadium. The property is nice and private. The farm adjoins the 75 acre Stranger Hills Organic farm, the oldest organic farm in Indiana. Our 1899 Farmhouse is the only residence on the entire farm. There is a 3000 acre farm to our south. The area is quiet and very private. The campsites are in a grassy walnut grove by a small creek that runs along the eastern border of the property. We have a white deer creek cabin tent on a platform there and 3 or 4 nice level campsites to the north. There is a shaded RV site at the top of a small hill with 30 amp service. We can accommodate a large RV on packed gravel with 50 amp service. the farm is located 15 minutes east of McCormicks Creek State Park. There is a composting toilet and an on demand hot shower in a small building adjacent to the campsites. There is a YMCA about five minutes East of the property. \\\

There are 6 to 7 restaurants less than 2 blocks from the property. We are a working homestead. Gardens full of herbs, berries, grapes, Annual Vegetables in Season. We are working on a garden greenhouse, a 20 foot yurt with wood stove, and Chickens with Fresh Eggs laid daily (available for purchase) Owner works from home and is always a text away. There are dogs, community Cats, and a Cat Sanctuary Rescue called The Black Sheep Cat-tuary. There is plenty of parking for small RVs and Camping Vans, Cars, etc. There is fresh delicious, clean and tested well water, 2 fire pits (lots of wood available for purchase, or just pick up some sticks around the property from the shade trees) There is a creek for wading in, lots of cats to love on, and places for hammocks, Electric outlets available to charge a cell phone, or other devices, and a simple compost toilet. If you are out of something just ask the owner or the dweller of the tiny house, we will share with you what we have. Momma Sycamore and our Weeping Willow offer a place of peace and quiet.
