Beautiful small farm with a few horses, ducks and expansive fields. Dave was very accommodating to our needs (water and electric) very quiet and peaceful with a stunning sunset!

We camped in a Class B Roadtrek Zion. Our site #4 was perfect. Everything was very neat and organized and the person who greeted us was very friendly. We also enjoyed watching the horses who were just as interested in watching us. The bathroom facilities although a porta potty was very clean and private with a wash up table next to it. We loved the numerous willow trees.

The host obviously puts great effort in his property! The willow tree offered much needed shade since it was hot. The outdoor cold shower was refreshing!

Loved having a site surrounded by a Willow Tree Grove. It the afternoon/evening we had wonderful shade with a nice breeze throughout the day. Host was helpful and responsive. Firewood was waiting for us and apple crisp was delicious! My kids loved being able to see all the horses, turkeys, and chickens. We will definitely plan to stay again sometime in the future!

We were in town for a family gathering and did not fully read the description for all the nearby attractions (which is probably good since we did not have a lot of time to gallivant around. The B & O Rails-to-Trails trailhead is nearby to this property and I'm excited to come back and enjoy the 16-mile trail! The property is serene, but if you're a light sleeper, bring something to help block out the bleating and crowing, haha! We are avid mix-group campers and always have Bluetooth sleeping masks (highly recommend). Bring a battery bank and a gallon of water, as the tent sites are primitive, though there is a table and fire pit. We bought a dozen eggs from our host and made breakfast each of our two mornings -- it was perfect! I highly recommend the turkey egg(s) (only one was available; we'd never had turney eggs before, and one happened to be available), because I swear it had notes of bacon! Amazing!! The weather was perfect with a light breeze, and even the rain missed up. The willow trees sway in the breeze and provide beautiful shading for both the tent site and the table, too. The port-a-potty was clean and private, and the wash water was much appreciated. We brought solar lights that have bug zappers incorporated -- I think it helped keep them out of our tent. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the farm, although we both wished we had more time there, rather than the snippets of our two-day stay, due to our family obligations in the city.

Beautiful Sunrise at Havendell

I am so glad I chose to stay the weekend at Havendell. I live on the east side of the state and had several ballgames to attend in Brownsburg, Plainfield and Southside Indy. This was a very nice location to be between games. It was a pleasant change of scenery. Dave always responded quickly. He was very courteous to ask if some planned farm work would impact my stay, prior to accepting the fee. I appreciated that thoughtfulness and consideration. I plan to come back sometime, just because, no agenda and just chill!

Nice place

The Vintage Camper is very cozy and clean. It was well stocked with bottled water and extra blankets. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Would stay here again. The hosts were magnificent. Very responsive. Thank you.

Very pleasant stay

The camper is clean, stocked with extra blankets and water bottles in the fridge. The lawn is neat and the shower is clean. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hosts definitely work hard to ensure your stay is comfortable. The host’s communication is very prompt and pleasant. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Love my stay. The portajohn was clean i was given access to electricity to air up my mattress 10/10 I'd stay again. You are in the country everyone has animals you might hear a dog at 2am you will hear chickens in the morning but thats all part of it. The firepit had a grate on it to cook on.

This was a clean friendly space. I arrived around sunset and was greated by Dave. The portapotty is clean and there is a nice handwashing station. In the morning it was beautiful to sit under the willow tree on the picnic table and eat breakfast. I felt safe staying here as a solo female camper.
