Great tent sites, had everything we needed. Easy to find. Very clean and tidy property. We even got a beautiful firefly show over the field after dark!

Nice place

The Vintage Camper is very cozy and clean. It was well stocked with bottled water and extra blankets. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Would stay here again. The hosts were magnificent. Very responsive. Thank you.

Love my stay. The portajohn was clean i was given access to electricity to air up my mattress 10/10 I'd stay again. You are in the country everyone has animals you might hear a dog at 2am you will hear chickens in the morning but thats all part of it. The firepit had a grate on it to cook on.

We've stayed at Dave's place many, many times and always have a great stay. Easy to find, peaceful, quiet, and the surrounding area is nice and clean. The port-o-potty is a great feature on site too. A gem that we will always prefer when we are in the area!

Fantastic boondock overnight stop for us on Dave's beautiful property. Havendell Farm will definitely be added to our favorite Hipcamp list. Clean, quiet, conveniently just off I-74 west of Indianapolis.

This was a clean friendly space. I arrived around sunset and was greated by Dave. The portapotty is clean and there is a nice handwashing station. In the morning it was beautiful to sit under the willow tree on the picnic table and eat breakfast. I felt safe staying here as a solo female camper.

Great farmlife quietness. We needed a place for an overnight. So nice to have a place to roll in to and not have to endure crowds or noise. The outdoor biffy was a bonus!

Camping on the farm!

I needed a safe place to park my car for car camping in between long driving days on a road trip. This was a great little spot! Affordable, organized, clean port-a-potty, and in a nice, rural setting with horses around. Always a plus for me! Communication was good with the host. You are right on the back end of the property so it's great if you're not needing a huge amount of privacy. It's tucked away, just recognize that you are in someone's backyard. (I knew this in advance, the photos make it clear).

Staying at Havendell was so simple and just what I needed. I was passing through the Indy area as I used to live here and just needed somewhere to park my rig for a couple of nights. My shuttle bus isn't fully built out, so having access to a port-a-potty and somewhere safe and quiet each night was just perfect, and Dave made it so simple. It felt very private and was an amazing landing spot as I passed through. Thank you again, Dave!

Open skys & peaceful times!

This is a lovely, quiet camping spot not too far from downtown Indy! It sits on a small farm with horses & chickens which are kept fenced off some ways away from the camp area. The camp area is a cozy gravel driveway in front of the horse barn, and the way it's laid out still feels private when sharing the space with other campers. There's a port-a-potty on site that is cleaned regularly and exceptionally. If you're car camping bring your own water to wash up. Huge open pasture space with open skies (but no shade during the day is something to be mindful of!) I loved listening to the sounds of all the blackbirds playing and chirping up in the willow trees. Watching the sunset here is amazing. Arranging this camping trip was hassle-free. Dave was quick to respond, his wife Tara is very nice, & and it was super easy to find the property with the big wagon for Havendell Farm out front. I just pulled in and setup camp. Also, I got great cell service out here, too! Thank you for sharing this sweet spot with Hipcamp!

My favorite Hipcamp :) Been here so often it feels a bit like coming home to get in and get set up! Dave reached out to me a few days before my stay to give me a heads up about some minor flooding from the rains we had. There were no issues but it was great to have the heads up. Quiet, dark, but safe and cozy. Highly recommend.

Their location is rural and quiet. They use their animals to help benefit children with developmental issues, quite an amazing and beautiful calling! You won’t be sorry should you be in need of a place camp or RV for a bit! The nights are beautiful out there too! We ended up staying on longer than expected. Kool fact, while I didn’t think him cocky, waking to a rooster in the morning is actually really cool:)) It was super cold for most of the night we were there but Dave and Tara were gracious and kind and shared some flannel blankets to help keep lab River warm. Filled my heart with joy to be welcomed so. So grateful to have met them and found their wonderful location!! Added additional days as needed and they made everything wonderful! ML for these kind folks God has blessed them

You won’t be sorry should you be in need of a place camp or RV for a bit! The nights are beautiful out there too! We ended up staying on longer than expected. Kool fact, while I didn’t think him cocky, waking to a rooster in the morning is actually really cool:)) It was super cold and snowy for the night we were there camping but Dave and Tara went out of their way to provide a drop cord for us so we could have power to our heater! Much needed as the outside temp felt like -24! So grateful to have met them and found their wonderful location!! Thank you for having us. ML for these kind folks you will be glad you chose to stay:)
