Little piece of heaven

We loved camping at Steve and Linda’s farm! It was so peaceful and quiet. They were truly wonderful hosts and we loved meeting the 4 legged hosts too—Lowell (kitty) and George (horse)! Close to restaurants and we loved walking and biking the BIG 4 trail! Perfect escape from hustle and bustle!

It was a nice place to stay. The farm is immaculate there are no bugs or annoying insects that bite the horse is cool to hang out with and he doesn't bite, if you don't have an RV or a camper and you do things out of your overlanding vehicle and you stay here you should have a shower tent, because there are lines of sight which are hard to break at this campsite. Nevertheless everyone has their own zone here. The location was convenient to Whitestown and Lebanon where my work sites were. There is company here but they are very much into minding their own business so even if you're used to having a lot of seclusion and space this was still a fine camp.

This is our second time here, and we loved it even more than the first! Property is gorgeous, convenient, and private. Steve and Linda are perfect hosts. And the star of the show (as everyone knows) is George the horse. :) Thank you both for providing such a beautiful haven for campers!

Peaceful Overnight

We loved our stay at Shalmar Farm! Quiet, private and beautiful country landscape! We loved meeting the barn cats and George, the horse! We brought our dog and there was plenty of room to walk him! Steve and Linda were great to communicate with and even let us pick some apples to take home! We would highly recommend their place!

We had a great time at the farm. We got to pick apples and feed George the horse. !! The clear sky at night made for some great star viewing. Thanks again would definitely stay in the future.

We loved staying the night at the farm! George the horse kept coming by to say hello and the hosts offered us any of the fruit and vegetables that were currently ripe from their garden! We had just picked up a new camper and this was our first night staying in it. Not only did the hosts provide a guided instruction to unhitching, but they also took time to look up a solution to an issue that I was having with my truck! They were not only helpful, but also friendly, caring and shared stories about their lives and how their farm came about. I would love to stay there again and I 10/10 recommend this hip camp experience. What a great alternative to a full hook up RV park. Loved it!

Steve and Linda were great hosts and the property is wonderful. It was very easy to get to and to park the camper. I would highly recommend everyone to stop by and check it out. We could only stay one night because of our trip but would have loved to stay longer.

Shalamar Farms was delightful!

It was such a delight to stay at Shalamar Farm! Steve and Linda were great hosts! They sent very clear directions and information. We loved spending time with the two cats, Lowell and Leroy. It was interesting watching our poodles' first experience with cats! George the horse came to us by the fence and let us stroke his neck. The farm was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing! We enjoyed the antique stores, dining, and Menards (we don't have Menards in Florida) were a short drive away in downtown Lebanon. I would highly recommend Shalamar Farm. We were traveling from Florida to Great Lakes Chicago to attend our daughter's graduation from Boot Camp. Hooyah Navy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us!

Me and my fiancé are full time campers at Shalamar Farm and our time here has been truly incredible. We have two dogs ourselves and they just love meeting George through the fence, we have horses back home so it’s nice having a little piece of that! The cats are also our little buddy’s, we love to walk down the to male box and have our side kicks right with us! Shalamar Farm is a very peaceful and family friendly community, Linda and Steve are the best host we could have ever ask for! We truly mean it when we say we HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The dogs and I loved this beautiful, quiet spot tucked away on our visit to Indiana. We were probably the guests from hell since we ran into some of our own travel issues and didn't follow directions, but none of that was the fault of our hosts who were very gracious and accommodating. We'd definitely love to be accepted back on our next visit to IN.

Only full hookup in the lebanon available. Rural farm setting. Spot is between a barn and horse stall. Full use of yard behind home is open. Not a campground with all of the noise. Great for traveling work.

The was a very pleasant experience. The scenery was beautiful. The farm has two very friendly mild mannered cats. The horse seemed to love the scratches we gave him. Easy to get our 32’ toy hauler parked. My daughter who is in a wheelchair loved our spot. We will definitely keep this on our keeper list!

We always love going to Shalamar Farm! It’s a peaceful getaway where our young boys have plenty of room to run and play. We love seeing the horse George and even getting to see the chickens across the road. The sites are well maintained and Steve and Linda are always very accommodating. We will definitely be returning!

I can’t say enough times how much we loved our stay at Shalamar Farms! We are sad to be leaving such a peaceful and lovely place. Steve and Linda are wonderful people who even helped us move campsites after our truck was involved in a wreck. Leroy, Lowell, and George (the cats and horse) also live on the farm and provide great company and entertainment. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend staying at Shalamar!

The best hosts!!!

We loved our time with Steve and Linda. They had the perfect set up for our RV, beautiful land, and we made fast friends with their horse, two cats and of course Steve, Linda and Linda’s mom. We even spent the afternoon on their lawn with them watching the total solar eclipse. If we ever end up in the area again, they will be our first pick! 10/10 recommend!
