We like to interact with people or you can keep to yourself and have a quiet getaway in the woods. Sorry, but the tree house isn't available to rent since it is my home. I may rent it out in the future. Also in progress is the "Dome"
We are on a solar powered, off the grid 30 acre homestead that has 24 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end).
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.
We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Also be aware that we have 2 friendly dogs on the land that roam freely.

Small hobby sheep farm, with a sheep pasture surrounded by woods. There are two shepherd's huts, three tent sites, a small fishing pond with a log cabin and a quarter of a mile hiking trail. It is a bird lovers paradise with a large variety of birds. The fisherman's cabin has electricity and AC (AC is new for 2026 season). The shepherd's huts and tent sites are off grid. Each site is very private and has a fire ring and picnic table and benches. Cabin has a queen and a twin bed, linens provided. Shephard's huts have a queen sized memory foam mat with linens. Sleek Acres includes our homestead, chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond with a beach, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property for guests to enjoy (including a walking trail.) We provide a bathhouse, which includes three toilets and a shower (cold and hot water). A handwash/ dishwashing station is located right outside the bathhouse. Fire rings, cooking grates, and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. Welcome to Cattail Springs! Nestled on nine wooded acres conveniently located just one mile off I-69 in Daleville, Indiana, this relaxing and peaceful property also features a five-acre, spring-fed pond. The pond is fully stocked with a variety of fish, inviting anglers of all skill levels to cast a line. We do ask that you respect the catch and release rule.
Surrounded by trees, this former stone quarry feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy peaceful mornings by the water, afternoons filled with outdoor activities and quiet evenings by the fire pit under a starlit sky. Keep an eye out for deer, our resident blue herons, songbirds, ducks and other woodland creatures.
Up to two dogs are permitted. Pet waste must be properly bagged and thrown away and dogs must be leashed when not at your immediate campsite.
Enjoy free wifi to stream your favorite shows or connect to the office.
The level of interstate travel noise that can be heard varies since the campground is within a mile of I-69.

Learn about regenerative farming with rare breeds on a farm tour, or mining and wetlands restoration on an ecological history tour. Pet and feed the livestock. Fish and bird-watch. Take a yoga class (at times with goats or bunnies) in the center of the stone henge. Have coffee with goats. Take a donkey stroll. Across the river from McCormick's Creek State Park (Indiana's first state park with miles of trails, a swimming pool, and lodge). Nestled in its own 10 acre woods. Both of these properties are primitive ( no running water in an out house for a bathroom). Firewood is provided and there are trails in the woods to walk. The Mirror lake property has been a family farm for over 185 years. There is a family cemetery that dates to 1832. This is also a cat sanctuary with disabled cats mostly wobbly, you probably won't see any of them as they are afraid of strangers.

Our place is close to 64 & 69.
It's a late-1800's farmhouse with an antique barn situated in the middle of an industrial park, so it can be loud during the day.
Since we've added a gravel parking lot for barn concerts, there are just a few camping spots. Vehicles are welcome. We sometimes have a portajohn.
You can sit around a fire on our property and look at the stars at night (when there's not a fire ban).
The Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area is a up the road. You could ride your bike there, kayak, canoe, fish, etc.
Fyi, we have honeybees, so if you're allergic to honeybees stings, be equipped. The bees rarely bother us, but they can be seen feeding on clover, so wear shoes if you're allergic. Otherwise, we recommend bare feet on the ground while being conscious where you're traversing.
If you're interested in herbs and/or foraging , classes may be available depending on availability/season.

The camp was very well taken care of. It was clean and had lots of small, extra quality of life features around that made it a comfortable place to stay. My favorites among that list were the cute solar lights hung up in the shepherd hut and the large wooden ship our toddler enjoyed exploring.

We had a great stay, which started with a warm welcome from Lisa. She gave us a heads up that our booked site was still quite soggy from recent rains, and led us to an equally private and lovely available site. We enjoyed a fire under dark starry skies and woke to a chorus of birdsong. Bathrooms were clean and convenient, and we enjoyed a quick chat with the ducks by the pond on our way out.

Weekend Trip to Sheepy Acres
Sheepy Acres has become our first choice, regional get away. Even when it rains, we are able to have a wonderful day. Titus has created a quiet, serene, and incredibly relaxing environment. Tinus’s campsite made our first camping experience feel incredibly safe, comfortable, and welcoming. He guided us all the way into the campsite and patiently shared helpful instructions and insights, even late at night around 11 PM. Truly a terrific value for the experience offered.
The campsite itself is very well maintained and easy to drive through, even with a regular car. The campsites are spaced far apart, which gives great privacy and makes the stay feel peaceful and relaxing. There are clean, flushable and potable toilets throughout the campsite, and as a woman, I especially appreciated how clean and well maintained the washrooms were.
Tinus had already placed kindlings inside the firewood, which made setting up the fire so much easier. There was ample firewood available, and he also offered fresh farm eggs, ice, and access to the pond for campers. The pond is beautiful, and guests can swim in it as well.
Waking up to the cute sheep in the morning made the experience even more special. The campsite felt safe, homely, and thoughtfully managed throughout our stay. As an added bonus, there was good cell coverage too.
Would definitely recommend staying here!

What a place! Awesome people and a great atmosphere, we stayed at site 8 “the mint” very cool spot. Hiked around the main road and trails a bit passed a couple of other sites that just looked awesome! I would 10/10 recommend Brian’s spot. Will definitely be back

Weekend Trip to Happy Hollow Homestead
This was such a cute, unique site! Each camp felt far enough away from all others and is really cozy nestled in the woods. Because of this however there were bugs in the A frame, but that’s unavoidable and the host was very responsive and helpful. The bed was comfy, and overall a great experience!
