Hawk Roost Tent Site

It is a large fenced in area with a meadow in the middle and a woody area surrounding it. The sites sit around the meadow amongst the wooded area, so plenty of shade which is helpful when it's hot. The areas are nicely mulched which helps a lot with mud. So I appreciate not walking in mud. I had an extended stay there for about twelve days. I left early because of the rain. I miss it. My husband and I want to go back another time before the season is over. What I miss about it? It is not the most quiet campground I have been to. Like if you have a dog afraid of gunshots, that might be a problem here. Our dog was not, so she enjoyed her stay too. Normally that is number one importance for me, the quiet, when choosing a campground. But yet, I still liked it there. Why? I think because there is a peace there that isn't worldly peace. Titus has made Sheepy Acres an oasis amongst the chaos. You are in good hands when staying on Titus' property. A lot is provided like water. I really appreciated having access to water for a longer stay. Not all campgrounds have water. Firewood is an extra gift, but not an entitlement, so don't abuse that!

Had a beautiful weekend and just sitting outside listening to music with my puppies watching the horses. Highly recommend both my daughters stayed here and told me to go.

Return camper! Love it here!

My second visit to the peace and quiet of Indiana's Amish country, off the beaten path, yet within reasonable driving distance to shopping and restaurants if that's your thing. Titus is a kind and friendly host who goes out of his way to see to campers' comfort. The cabin has lights, a fridge, coffee maker and kitchen supplies, as well as a dishwashing station next to the shower. Also a lovely front porch, my favorite spot for reading, watching birds, or just relaxing. Note: I travel with a CPAP machine, so previously had to unplug the lights to install it; this year I had an extension cord. :) Highly recommended!

My husband and I were a last minute booking and Titus was great about getting us info, meeting us, giving directions, … just everything! It rained and the hut we were in was tight and cozy! Fantastic experience, Titus is wonderfully personable, plus Sheep!!!

Fantastic weekend trip. it did rain all weekend but the cabin was cozy and the sound of the rain on the roof was lovely. The dogs had a blast in the rain and pond/pool.

Really lovely spot, I enjoyed my stay so much. Quiet, private, peaceful. There are so many cool things that I want to check out next time, like the swimming pond! There is also a beautiful big ship playground for kids. I would recommend taking kids here, ages 5 to early teen would have a great time on the farm. Titus did me a very kind favor, late at night and raining, to upgrade my tent spot to a cabin. I am grateful! Thank you for everything, will be returning one day. Be well.

Camping and animals ❤️

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt like we were part of the family here. Titus was very welcoming and helpful and showed us around when we first arrived and it was late but he still came out and helped us. The hut was very comfortable and warm the whole night and the place was very cozy. He also offered us homemade apple cider and let us take a kitten home. We had the best time here and will be planning more trips back. Thank you for the experience and the new addition to our family ❤️

Titus's spot was the perfect spot for us and our dogs! The tent site was private and well maintained. Plenty of firewood was provided. Upon arrival Titus showed us around and was available if we needed anything. The only downside was that the water station was a bit farther of a walk than we had anticipated.

We absolutely loved this place! It was cozy, peaceful, and filled with so many cute animals. Titus was a wonderful host who greeted us at the entrance and gave us great recommendations for places to visit nearby. We had such a lovely stay and would definitely come back! Ph the sunrise...amazing!

Solo woman trip

I absolutely loved this place. Titus welcomed me as soon as I arrived, and showed me around. I had planned to go out and see the area on my second day but I was so comfortable and relaxed at my site that I couldn’t bring myself to leave. The sites are private, the animals are so cute and the property owners provided everything I could have needed.

Happiest Place On Earth

The Fisherman's Wharf cabin at Sheepey Arcres is our "Happiest Place On Earth." We have visited many times, living our time there more after each departure. Titus, and family, are amazing hosts, being genuinely concerned about your stay. The fresh air, lack of light pollution, and calm quiet moments make it "our" spot. I can't recommend Titus' cabin and hospitality any more to anyone considering a stay. (If you do opt to fish make sure you have strong enough line for the few 'lunkers' in the pond!!) HANK YOU TITUS!!

Wonderful, Beautiful and Peaceful

As of today this is our favorite camping site, can't wait to go back. Titus was an awesome host! We cannot think of anything he could change to make it a better time camping. Free firewood and brought right to our site. We loved hearing about how he started this camping area. He has a place to use the restroom and also has a shower available. There is a pound for fishing. Sheep can run free at times and we loved watching them. It is surrounded by Amish farmers with cows, horses and beautiful landscapes! He also has chickens and kittens. Thank you Titus for a wonderful and peaceful retreat!

Farm living with great ammenities

Titus is a very thoughtful and attentive host and the property is extra special. We enjoyed morning coffee with the curious cows checking things out and every now and then the timid herd of sheep and lambs would swing by. Great wooded camp site (wood chip trail) with a nearby rustic but private toilet, sturdy firebox with cooking grate, firewood and plenty of space for hammocks. Central shower also available. Titus made the rounds every morning to check on the bathrooms and make sure things were clean and dry. Very flexible to allow us a late checkout. Lovely spot at a good price for what all it offers.

Titus' land was lovely, and he was so accommodating! The hut was a great spot to camp for a couple of days, the fire pit area was nice and private, and the sheep roaming the property were adorable! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A slice of paradise

The accommodations were beautiful, very private and our host Titus asked if we would like the air conditioning running before we got there to cool it down. A very kind gesture that meant a lot after spending a long day in the hot summer heat.

What a lovely overnight stop on my road trip! Titus was a lovely host and helped us stay nice and dry in the rain. The camp was thoughtfully set up, and I’m sad I had to leave so early to get on my way east. I plan to come back again on future road trips!

We enjoyed our stay on Titus’s land. He’s always a gracious host and this is our second time staying with him. We rented the cabin, the starlight hut and a tent site for a small family get together and everyone loved their stay. We all felt welcomed. The pond and sheep pasture with a tire swing and wooden ship were highlights for our kids. Thank you again for the wonderful weekend!
