Blooming Bus farms is a working urban flower, vegetable and fiber farm practicing sustainable, organic, natural farming practices. Spread out over 15 acres, upon completion, you’ll find 4 yurt sites and 3 byo tent sites. Working hard contributing to our compost are our alpaca and free range chickens. While this is a working farm, we try to not run any equipment before 10:00am! Inquire about reserving the entire property to host your group getaway!

Camp site 1

Beautiful space to start my cross country roadhouse with my elderly pups. Just a beautiful quiet campsite and nearby gardens. Definitely recommend.

Glamping getaway w/camp kitchenette

The property is beautiful and Melissa and her family were kind enough to let us spend some time with the alpacas and their puppy Daisy. She was very responsive to every inquiry and the site itself was very comfortable. The beds are super cozy!

Camp site 1

sweet spot in the woods

This is a sweet little spot. I was greeted when I arrived. Jason showed me around the farm and offered me another tent site to choose from that wasn't booked for the night, so I took that one. The place is charming and the people are sweet. There are gardens, lamas, and chickens. I ordered eggs with my reservation which were great.

Camper site 2

Melissa was such a wonderful host and the campsite is very comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and even friends and family. We wanted to camp during the 4th of July but everything was booked near the Warren State Dunes. This location allowed for us to have an easy drive ~35 minutes to the dunes and there is a Walmart nearby, plenty of food locations, and everything you could need. We got fresh eggs from the chicken there in the morning and they were some of the best eggs we've had. Melissa also responded to any texts within minutes. Again, cannot recommend this location and host enough!

Camp site 1

Beautiful site! Constant gunfire.

We (2 adults, 1 dog) had a very nice stay for two nights. We are experienced car campers, but not for a while, so we were looking for a very low key short trip to try out new equipment and prepare for longer trips. Melissa and her husband were great, and the site is beautiful! We spent the days listening to the birds, and watching the small wildlife. We should have taken more seriously the mention of the nearby gun range - it seems to open at 2pm, and gunfire and small explosions continue until 11pm. We were able to tolerate it (the dog hid in the tent under a cot) but will look for other sites in future.

Glamping getaway w/camp kitchenette

We had such a wonderful time and wow, what a host Melissa is! It was very peaceful, super comfortable and if we needed anything our host was just a text away. The kids loved exploring, seeing the animals, playing sand volleyball and basketball. Woke up to beautiful deer and our dogs had the best sleep ever. Thank you Melissa!
