Blooming Bus Farms

The bungalo at Melissa's alpaca farm was fantastic. I stayed 2 weeks before Christmas, and even when the weather was bitter cold, I stayed warm and comfortable in bed with a heated blanket. I'll be back with a larger group this summer. This is great for a little personal hideaway, or for larger events like family reunions.

Cozy Cabin, Woodsy Escape

The place looked great when we arrived, especially lit up at night. Inside, it had that familiar campfire-and-wood smell that made it feel comfortable right away. The heated blanket was the saving grace of the stay. It was in the 30s, and the small radiator heater struggled to keep up, so most of the evening was spent bundled up together under the blanket. The cabin is very small, and the property itself isn’t large either, so you can hear some street noise. Being close to town was convenient, though. We grabbed Chinese carry-out and it was surprisingly good after a cold day. Leslie was thrilled to meet the alpacas, which added a fun moment to the trip. There are several areas set up for groups, and I would definitely come back with friends. The space works well for hanging out and enjoying a simple, low-key getaway.

The perfect weekend

Wow. What a spot. Everything about our stay was perfect. Such a beautiful place, created by beautiful humans. A creative & cozy place for anyone looking for inspiration & connection! The yurts were heated for our late fall / winter stay and the alpacas were the cutest!!! Thank you Melissa & Jason!

We had such a blast, a little chilly 🥶 however that made the fire much more appreciated!! Absolutely loved loved waking up to the chickens & alpacas!!! 🦙 definitely would go back. Also, loved the area as well! Be sure to check out, Standard Farms when ur there!

Had a great weekend at Bloomin Farm

Had a wonderful weekend at Bloomin Farm. The campsite was well tended and Melissa had left the wood we purchased near the fire pit as well as a lovely welcome sign and flowers. We had our own compost toilet and in warmer weather there is a hot shower tent on the campsite as well. There is some road noise but it was not bothersome at all. And our second night the farm hosted a Halloween event with food and live music, which was great fun and Melissa gave us plenty of warning so we knew it was happening. Would definitely stay there again!

It was great! The ambiance at night was incredible. We had crappy weather while we were there (rained 4 of the 5 days 😅) but we still had a great time. The yurt made the trip doable even with the rain. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful! The camp is beautiful, even at the end of the season. 2 of the 5 of us had never camped before and it was all 3 kids favorite place we stayed (over 6 nights throughout Michigan, a different town each day). The host was positively amazing and extremely kind. We will be back for sure.

It’s such a cute little place! Perfect if you want to camp, but don’t want to pack all of the stuff that goes with it! And…perfect for you-never-know-about-the-weather weather. Adorable garden and the alpacas are so darn cute!!! Nice a private!!

My partner and I took our three teenage nephews (and dog) and we had the most fun, peaceful weekend at Blooming Bus Farms. This was the perfect place for nature lovers who enjoy some comforts of home. Melissa was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond, and made us feel welcome before setting foot on the land. She let us meet their sweet and funny alpacas, which was a real treat for us city dwellers. The entire property is enchanting and our campsite truly became our home for a couple days. We will be coming back for a couple’s trip, and the boys are already asking if we can take them again. 10 out of 10!

Blooming Farms is an absolute gem! It provides all of things you need for a restorative camping experience. Squad up with the alpacas near the garden! Visit the farm store for unique gifts and essentials. It’s a must check out. Looking forward to next time.

Beautiful place!! It felt warm and welcoming. It happened to go during the week and on short notice. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Once there the site was beautiful. I was looking for a peaceful night, and that's exactly what I got. Plus a lot of added extras. There was a nice walking trail that we found. They have tents and cabins. A nice garden, and very cool decorations. I do plan on visiting again!

Blooming Bus is a magical place! I stayed for just one night a couple of years ago with my youngest kiddo and finally brought the full family back for two nights at a larger site and it was amazing once again. We mostly kept to ourselves and enjoyed slowing down in our little cove of trees but it was nice to be able to wander out to visit the alpaca and enjoy the flowers. The port-a-potties are nice and clean and wood and essentials in the farm store were an unexpected ease. Town is only a couple of minutes out as well if forgotten essentials are needed. We were amazed to see so many stars (just shy of a new moon) and while there definitely is some road noise, and our first night included some unexpected fireworks (may have been from a neighboring property?) - our stay was tranquil and quiet enough for us to fully de-stress from the city and reconnect with nature. We had a delightful time and can't wait to come back!

Go! Pet a Llama, sleep in peace and wake up refreshed. The grounds are clean and well kept. The owners are kind and attentive. I had everything I needed for a super cozy first ever glamping experience!
