This was our second stay on this property and we would definitely stay again! Great area, clean bathrooms, nice fire pits, quiet… super ideal for a nice getaway!

This property was super pretty and well maintained! The pond was really nice and the grass was mowed. There were new fire rings placed around and we chose one close to the pond. Very quiet as we were the only campers there for the one night we stayed. The portapotty was pristinely clean in all aspects and well stocked with a hand washing station and sanitizer. It's just a few miles from Warren Dunes beach and Weko beach and lots of wineries. We will definitely be back.

This place was so peaceful and I enjoyed my stay a lot. Beautiful view and private. The beach isn’t far at all and cute restaurants around. Loved it all.

Chrrisse's property is very well maintained. Bathroom is clean and every camper there was kind and respectful
Waking up to birds chirping and seeing a beautiful sunrise over the fields was awesome
Cherisse is also very kind and helped answer all of our questions
We would definitely visit again next time we're in the area!

We loved our time at Once Upon a Pond. Quiet,(except for holiday fireworks).
Plenty of room, very clean porta potty. Firewood included. Nice host lady.

We had an amazing time at Once Upon a Pond! I think I will camp here anytime I am visiting Lake Michigan. Quiet, spacious, very clean port-a-potty, plenty of fire pits. The ducks were an absolute delight, as was Cherisse who took the time to talk to us about her ducks. She is knowledgeable and has a lot of duck related facts to share! I would recommend this site for any group looking for a quiet and simple getaway

My daughter and I loved Cherisse’s campsite! The pond and land are lovely and well kept, and it’s a short drive to Lake Michigan. It was a quiet, comfortable space, and the ducks were delightful. Cherisse was a kind, communicative host, and we can’t wait to return!

Cherisse's land was so beautiful. There was a lovely pond, willow trees, ducks, a beautiful food. It was spacious and it was nice there was a porta-pottie (very clean). It was really great for the kids (and adults) to watch the penning of the ducks. It's super close (10 mins or less) to Warren Dunes State Park. Stargazing was amazing, we saw a few shooting stars. Bugs/mosquitos were not bad at all. We will definitely be back!

Great find, beautiful shady spots by the duck pond. Close to Sawyer. Fun to watch the ducks!

Charisse has a beautiful property and the ducks were so fun! The location is close enough to town for any forgotten items (or a beer), but tucked away enough that you can see the stars.

Overall we had a good experience but feel that the site was overpriced for what was offered. It was a nice mowed yard in front of a pond with a porta potty and trash area. There were no assigned spaces. We did come late and only stayed one night, but felt like there could have been easier and better communication if more information was provided on the Hipcamp app.

I loveddddd camping here. It was plenty of room, therefore everyone was a decent distance away from one another. The view of the cornfield was amazing with the sunset. Everyone was so respectful, and didn’t make any loud noise disturbing one another. Charisse was so sweet, and helping. Definitely will be back.
