Site 1, is right next to the Rivers Edge (The beach) and has quick access to the community deck where you can enjoy a fire or go fishing and Kayak access. Generators available upon request as well as Kyaks. Enjoy your stay with tent or small camper. Pets are allowed on a leash. Firewood is available but recommend you bring your own due to availability..

The River under the Canopy of trees (site2). We offer generators as needed for a small fee and water by a hose if you need to fill tanks or water use. Firewood can be purchased for a small fee, and you can also purchase firewood up the road. Kayaks are available at a first come first serve basis let us know a head of time.

The Cove (site 4)

Site 4 the Cove is nestled under trees overlooking an open area. You can see the River from this site and are approximately 50 feet from being on it. This site is for tent and or a small camper. We have some firewood available for a small fee, or you can purchase some up the road. We offer Kayak rental first come first serve let us know so we can hold them for you.

Site 5 We have a cozy RV with a microwave, refrigerator, dining area, toilet, air conditioner, sink, and comfortable sleeping for up to four people, a portable fire pit, charcoal grill, and TV with CD player (bring your own movies). Cozy camper is a secluded area surrounded by trees and a private setting with views and easy access to the river. Come book your time and listen to the owls, birds, and see the turtles, deer, swans, and other wildlife. Nature trails are nearby, and it is an easy walk (a few feet) down to the St Joseph River. We rent Kyaks upon reservation. Please be sure to bring your favorite blanket and your bedding as well as bottled waters…We thank you in advance! See you soon!

What a great little spot to camp for the weekend. I loved waking up and having a view of the river and the woods on the other side. Kat provided everything we needed, including a s'mores kit! Our site was far enough away from the other sites that we had privacy. This campsite was great for peace and quiet and space to get away with our little dog.

This place has been on my wish list for quite some time and we finally got to check it out. I would give 6/5 stars if I could. This is an amazing site and I will treasure memories of waking up riverside for many years to come. We enjoyed the beautiful sites and also rented the kayaks. While you’re here, check out Niles Brewing Company just minutes away. We were also able to buy wood from a house just up the road. If you’re considering booking this place, do it!!

The Haven is amazing! Kat’s spot is close to town while still feeling remote. Even with a few other hipcampers on the property, we very rarely saw them. Beautiful and right in the river! The camper was perfect for two people.

Our camping experience here was fantastic! The location felt private and peaceful, with plenty of space to relax. We loved sitting by the fire under the stars at night. The host was kind and quick to respond to any questions. The kayak was such a wonderful bonus and made the trip even more special! I would love to come back again soon!

I stayed at beach site 1 and it was such a great view! I was surprised at how big the land was, because of the neighborhood. It was a fantastic weekend and the sites are spaced enough apart where you can hear others but not nearly as much as your average campground. The port a potty was also very cleans.

Loved this little camper, which was indeed cozy. We only got to stay for one night but did get to enjoy to outside fire pit area that was very relaxing, plus the views of the water. Would love to stay here again sometime, and or possible bring a tent to stay closer to the water, the weather was perfect when we stayed.

We had so much fun staying in the Cozy Corner. It was beautiful and peaceful. The site is beautiful and the views are amazing. Will definitely be back! Note: there are no grill grates! So be prepared with your own camping stove if you want to cook food over the fire.

This is my second time staying on Kats property. It is breathtaking right on the river. It’s a breeze to put your kayak in. Go fishing or swimming. The current can get pretty strong for young swimmers. Its so peaceful. The stars are incredible. It’s private. Kay and her family are lovely. Highly recommend staying here.

Kat was such a gracious, responsive, annd accommodating host! I went during the week and was the only camper on the property, and the river was the perfect backdrop to our cozy, tucked away little spot. The common area dock was perfect for getting my paddle board in the water, and when I wasn't busy swimming, there were plenty of ducks, swans, and herons to watch while relaxing by the fire. The little care package to start off the trip was just the cherry on top. Can’t wait to go back!
