It was my first experience with a camping site, and I enjoyed everything, Julie is very welcoming, attentive & friendly, the connection with nature and animals is amazing, the nature sounds, I totally recommend this place!

Camping with Amenities & Animals

Julie and Theresa were WONDERFUL! Our time completely exceeded our expectations. They have so many animals up at the main house to hang out with. Baby kittens, goats, a raccoon, dogs, pigs, turkeys and more. We will 100% be back. Thank you!!!

My wife and I stayed two nights on the farm and had a very pleasant stay. We got to see and interact with a lot of different animals and appreciate the 2 Chicks caring for so many. Campsite was ample and mostly private. Restroom facilities not too far from site and clean. We’d recommend them for anyone interested in an experience a little different from the norm.

Everyone at Two Chicks and a Farm were very kind and welcoming. Our kids enjoyed the farm animals. The area is easy to navigate and is close to South Haven and several beaches.

I don't know where to begin? The place was beautiful upon entry! Beautiful cats to play with everywhere! My son was in heaven :-) we made great friends with a black kitty named Olivia. She hung out with us while we were camping and even shared some of our breakfast eggs! The pathways were lit at night, the TP that we stayed in was and beautiful condition, clean, well stocked with cleaning supplies and a trash can if needed. We had a bundle of wood that was plentiful! The staff was extremely helpful getting me to my site and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed! There are vegetables for sale, as well as delicious salsa! The property is extremely well kept and beautiful to look at! Very serene. We had our own fire pit and picnic table also. The campsites were very private, which I really liked. I was very happy that I did not have to share a fire pit with other campers. This was a last-minute trip for my son's 11th birthday and well worth the drive from detroit! We will definitely be back with the rest of the family! I highly recommend two chicks and a farm!

Had an amazing weekend! We stayed in Sam's Place Yurt and it was perfect for our party of 4! We loved getting to pet all the farm kitties and having all the farm birds visit our campsite. The campsite was really clean and tidy as was our yurt. We really appreciated that the portapotty was close by and also the cleanest we've ever come across, especially at a campsite! Julie was an amazing host, she was super quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We got the breakfast on our first morning there and it was exactly what we needed to get our day started! Super delicious and substantial. Overall would highly recommend 2 Chick's! We can't wait to be back for another visit!

Mike’s Place Bell Tent

Such a great spot. We will definitely return. This was my first time in a yurt and I loved it! So roomy and nice to not have to set up a tent. It was nice to feel like we were alone in the woods since the sites are a ways away from each other, unlike a state park.

We had a lovely time camping at Two Chicks and a Farm! There were small farm animals everywhere. It's in a very rural, quiet area and the hosts were lovey.

Amazing place. Site 5 was nicely tucked away but not too far from water, bathrooms and animals. Really not a single negative thing to say. Kids adored all of the animals and hosts were so generous.

Daisy - Front of Property

This was my 4th time staying at 2 Chicks and first time staying at the Daisy site. We love 2 Chicks. Julie and Theresa are incredible hosts. The property is great. And the animals are the star of the show. The cats and bunnies and chickens roam the grounds and my kids love that the cats will climb in their laps while sitting by the fire. Therev are goats and dogs and pigs and turkeys and ducks and geese... It's a zoo in the best way. The hot drink station is a real treat and while the port-a-potties are entirely sufficient (and clean) for most uses, it's really nice that you can pay a little extra to head inside for a hot shower. This was our first time staying at the Daisy site in the front of the property and while you can occasionally hear a car going by on the street, it's also one of the most isolated sites - we'd happily stay there again. Can't wait for our next trip!

Site 2 - Small Pasture Site

Julie’s place was better than advertised! Great host and extremely accommodating. The site was better than expected. Julie thought of everything to make us feel welcomed. It’s close enough to town to step out and explore and just far enough for a peaceful weekend camping. I would recommend and we will be back!

I would highly recommend this campground! The campground was great. The people were very accommodating. The breakfast they made for us was outstanding! I would definitely order the breakfast at least once while you are there. My grandchildren loved the animals. We will definitely stay there again if possible.

As part of the Scooter and Boys in Scouting America program, I’ve had my fair share of camping trips, but this one was off the charts! 🌟 Imagine staying in a cozy tipi nestled in the woods, surrounded by a vibrant cast of friends—yes, I’m talking about farm animals! We had encounters with raccoons, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, pigs, and so much more. Each moment was filled with adventure and laughter! And let’s not forget the perks: coffee available 24/7, impeccably maintained toilets, and hot showers to rejuvenate after a day of fun. It’s truly a hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough! We’re definitely coming back for more amazing memories! 👍😎🦝🐶🐈🐔🐷🦆

Delilah's Kitty Korner

I absolutely loved my stay! I camped in a small teardrop trailer and had plenty of space and privacy. The campsite had a mixture of sun and shade. I liked being close to the porta potty and I had a regular parade of chickens, turkeys, ducks, cats all roaming around. Still slept like a baby. Julie is a clear communicator and was able to answer all of my questions. The farm location itself is great — a short drive to hiking trails and small beach towns. So much to explore. I will definitely be back.

Hammock Haven

Nice stay. I chose the Hammock Haven site as it was the furthest back on the property and the quietest. Not as big as some of the other campsites there, but enjoyed the quiet.

Kitty cats GALORE!

We had a wonderful time! It's a lovely, clean, and fun place with lots of animals. Campsites felt pretty self contained and the other guests were all so incredibly respectful. It was a blissful getaway and the couple that runs it are wonderful. Cats everywhere, it was like living inside a cat cafe!! I would highly recommend buying some of their eggs, they were amazing! I'll definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

We had a great time staying in Lucy the yurt. Julie met us when we got there and gave us a welcome basket with lots of stuff. The cats were super friendly and cuddly. Our kid enjoyed meeting and trying to pet all the animals.

Had a great stay at the yurt. Julie was a great host, had a drop in temps the first night there and she had a heater already set up for us. Our daughter couldnt get enough of the animals. Was a peaceful stay. The sites were nicely set up, and each had there own uniqueness. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Camping with Animals 😍

It was so tranquil , comfortable and stress free . Julie is an amazing host and I especially loved holding your animals especially the raccoon . I had no idea how sweet and cuddly raccoons are . Try the marmalade ; it is to die for . Getting back to nature is healing my soul . Thank you so much Julie . Stunning place !!

Delilah's Kitty Korner

Wonderful, welcoming hosts and friendly free-range animals. We enjoyed campsite #3, fit our 18ft camper with room to spare. Proximity to the chicken coop meant we got ducks, chickens, bunnies, and cats to visit with. Would recommend this site to anyone, including LGBTQ campers looking for a haven!

Immaculate. Manicured grounds. Thoughtfulness every step of the way. These 2 Chicks are not lazy and it shows. The place is teeming with life, warmth, and genuine hospitality. Stayed at Campsite #1—very spacious, easy in and out. Looking forward to another stay!

3rd time but not the last

This is our third stay at 2 Chicks and it won't be our last. My kids love the animals that roam the property, especially the cats that come to snuggle during camp fires. The new hot beverage station is such a treat. And we got to see some freshly hatched chicks this morning. We don't stay at 2 Chicks so we can visit SW Michigan - we go to SW Michigan so we can stay at 2 Chicks!
