Pull off the blacktop onto the grassy drive running through the field and forest. This site has its own private driveway, is about 30 yards off the road, and is just minutes from lots of local culture and recreation. We do have two sites available, but we'll only take one booking at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself and your choice of campsites. Feel free to add another group to your booking and use both sites! The clearing is about an acre and is surrounded by forest. The clearing is right off of the road, is about half an acre, and is surrounded by forest on three sides. The campsite is approximately 30 ft long and 20 ft deep. We only book one group at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself. Set up wherever fits you best! The site has access to trash and water (May-Oct). Firewood can be foraged from downed trees on the property or bought at the local grocery store 3 miles away. All other amenities and services must be included in your camping system. Our property does have several free-roaming cats and one very friendly dog that might come say hello. Please do not feed the dog, and jsut let us know if they bother you. This site is ideal for travel trailers, van campers, and truck campers. Using tents as a primary shelter is not ideal because of the site's proximity to the road and the lack of a toilet. All human waste must be contained within your system and packed out. We are right next door if you need anything!

It's a tight spot for large vehicles. Some larger Camper Vans or Class B's might be tricky. We allow cars, but require you to have your own sewage system.

Convenient to Saugatuck and Douglas

The owners are excellent communicators and the site was just what we needed to allow us to be close to the towns of Douglas and Saugatuck. It’s a very basic site but offers lots of privacy with greenery /trees all around. There is a water hose available and a trash can. We didn’t need water but appreciated the ability to empty our trash daily. There is also a fire ring if you bring your wood but we didn’t use it. T-Mobile cell coverage is one bar on the lte network if you can get that but in town it gets better.

We had a great weekend stay at Aaron’s place. Our dogs loved exploring, it was very peaceful and breezy. Beautiful trees surrounding the site. There are 2 fire rings, a water hose and a trash can on site. Just 10 minutes away from the lake and downtown… there are tons of cool farms in the area - lavender, blueberry, etc. Such a great area. We’ll be back!

Cute little nook to pull off to. No restroom but has a fire pit and water. Site was well maintained and groomed but lots of mosquitoes 🦟. Gorgeous flowers and lots of butterflies and moths came by.

Fireflies galore, blooming flowers, wild blackberries, hospitable & welcoming hosts, a stack of dry wood, a quiet road close to amazing nature spots as well as stores, food, the highway, this site has been so perfect for my family we booked another week! Check in was super easy, straightforward and flexible, the site is clean and well maintained, we love the hose for setting up a sprinkler for our toddler as the site gets full sun mid-day, great for solar and plenty of shade in the morning/evening. We had occasional visits from a very kind dog and loved that our cat could explore safely here. Thanks again Aaron!

This sweet campsite is easy to find. It is basic, and just off the road, but there is hardly any traffic. Having water and firewood available was very handy. The local towns were fun and there is nearby access to the lake for swimming and paddling

The spot is great, wooded and feels private even though right next to the road. But the stand out for me was the hospitality of the host, Aaron. I was able to make a very late reservation for that night, and when I told him I was eager for a fire, he had one started for me as I arrived! Also provided tips for kayaking and other activities in the area. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our second trip to Hidden drive and we enjoyed it just as much this time. It's quiet, secluded, well maintained and ideally located for short trips to Lake Michigan to swim, Douglas and Saugatuke. Thank you Arron for making this site available and we hope to return again shortly.

We have stayed multiple times at Aaron’s place with our camper van and have always loved a quiet and beautiful place to rest next to all the vibrant places to explore in the Saugatuck and Douglas areas. There is so much to see and do in this area, but hidden drive has always been a consistent place to relax, unwind, enjoy the silence, and plan our next day. We recently visited in peak season and loved the dunes, art and food in the area, but have also visited in the fall where the best of Michigan is really on display. This is also close to where my grandparents lived years ago (Fennville) and has become a great food and wine area. Thanks to Aaron and family for always making sure everything is okay each time we stay.

Two great areas to set up Basecamp! The nearest one to the road (on the right as you enter) offers nice shade in the evening, I recommend parking your vehicle facing north, alongside the tall grass. Speaking of tall grass, our dogs enjoyed exploring and lounging in the tall grass. This was our second visit! Please see my first review.

Aaron is a great host. He came out and greeted us upon arrival. He checked in during our stay to make sure we were ok. This site is right off the road but was very private and quiet. The road was not busy at all. There was a hose which was very nice to have access to water. This was a great base camp for visiting Holland, Saugatuck and the local beaches. We really enjoyed this spot and will be back.

This space was so great for my dog and i and our 23 ft rig during our first few days of full time bus life! It was incredibly peaceful (so many birds!) and very private. It is right off of a road but it doesn't feel like it and is super tucked away and safe. The hosts were so great and gave great recs that I asked for. Plus the location is prime for Saugatuck and Douglas and so many beautiful trails.

Hidden drive is a quaint, quiet, cute little location close to Douglas, Saugaturk MI so its well suited to enjoy Lake Michigan shoreline. It's close to beaches, interesting sites by bicycle or a short drive and the bigger town of Holland is only 20mins away. We really enjoyed the area and the site and plan on returning again next year. Thank you for having this little gem available Aaron !!!

Loved the location of this spot, we were so close to town. Aaron only rents the 2 sites out to 1 party at a time, which was such a pleasant change from the parking lot camping experience you get at most campgrounds. The water onsite was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again
