Wonderful place to stay !
What a beautiful place to stay !
Peaceful , beautiful & spacious.
Johnathan & Melissa are kind and accommodating and went above and beyond . We stayed 3 weeks for work and it was a nice place to come home to after a day of work to relax and enjoy the fire on the cool evenings . Johnathan is a skilled remote controlled airplane pilot . Enjoyed the show !! Shout out to Melissa for the beautiful lawn.
We stayed in our 42’ 5th wheel with our 2 dogs .

Wonderful place to say!
I had a great time at the apple orchard! Jonathan is very friendly and made feel welcomed and comfortable. A perfect place to rest and work remotely on the fast wifi for a couple days.

Great location - yet rural setting.
Very nice location and well kept grounds. Short walk to bathroom (would have been nice to have shower available). Jonathan and family were very pleasant and attentive to our needs.

Great camping spot on a family homestead! We didn’t get a chance to meet Jonathan, but his folks who live next door came by and were super welcoming. It was swell to have indoor plumbing a short stroll away at the orchard wedding venue, and there were plenty of provided camping tools available to us under the metal carport. We were only there for a quick overnight on a cross country trip, but this would be a great spot to linger a few days.

The family was really really nice unfortunately we had just bought a pop up and well it had some problems and we were not able to make it. But the property in the family are amazing very much well worth it

Overnight stop with animals
It’s a lovely, meticulous, quiet and warm setting.
Very convenient to I70.
Check the height and width of your camper (before arrival) with Jonathan so you’ll know if you can access the carport.
Jonathan is a rockstar host. Very accommodating and super person. Need something, just ask!
It was really nice to be able to walk my dog for a long time, off leash! (We picked up after him.)

Jonathan and Melissa were awesome and the location is excellent. They were responsive and helpful, the spot is clean, surprisingly private, and I would definitely stay again. My Ram 1500 tall van fit under the shelter with plenty of space, and I was able to walk around it and stay dry when it rained. 100% recommended.

Camping at the Apple Orchard
We had a wonderful experience camping at Jonathans place! The set up was perfect and the views were beautiful. Very clean and maintained restrooms. Jonathan’s communication was great and they even had a very helpful welcome letter. We checked out a local restaurant that the host suggested called Brew Links and would come back to just eat there! Very kind people and we will definitely be back!

Amazing spot!
Can’t recommend enough. I have stayed here in the past before by myself but this time had the whole family. Jonathan does an amazing job to ensure you have a great stay. The property was awesome and very welcoming. Plenty of room for kids to run around and have a great time. Will definitely stay there again.

Use of water and electric connections was great. Parking most of the trailer and van under the carport was invaluable during torrential downpours. The land with the pond made for a great diversion during down times. The host was very accommodating, friendly and willing to help as needed. We would stay there again. The walking paths and fresh strawberries were a great surprise and a plus.

Great host-Great site-Atrocious we
Jonathon is a grear host and Apple Acres is a beautiful place in the country for a getaway. The carport was great to park our camper underneath which provided protection from the sun and rain. Having electric and water hookups make for a really comfortable set-up. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative for our stay and the rain and cold finally did us in and we went home early. We were disappointed that we didn't get to take full advantage of the trails on the property, the small lake, or even a nightly campfire in the fire ring. That said, the hosts went above and beyond and we are looking forward to returning for a future stay. Next time will not be in April that's for sure! My dog and I were sleeping in our tent when a ferocious storm came through on night #3 with high winds, lightning, and rain coming down in buckets for literally hours non-stop. I thought we were gonna die and pretty sure I have PTSD now. I should have taken Jonathan up on his offer to stay in his basement! YES, the host opened his home to us for bad weather. But...I didn't want to intrude and I really didn't think it would get that bad. I was wrong!

Nice spot close to Indy
We had to leave early due to wind and rain but hope to stay again. Jonathan had firewood set up for us. There is a nice carport and picnic table. We really enjoyed all the trails and we were told there was a large pond. We were sorry we didn’t get to enjoy it longer.

Excellent location, friendly hosts, beautiful property. The hosts will allow you as much or as little interaction as you prefer. Was very considerate and made great recommendations for food and places to walk the dogs. I would definitely stay again!

Jonathan's camp site was the perfect last minute spot when our other campground plans fell through! Immediate booking was a breeze and the carport with lights was comforting when we came in right at dusk and still had to setup. Having wood already in the fire pit and an array of other comforts at hand within the carport was so nice, and despite the cold temperatures, we were very comfortable at Apple Acres!

This was such a great Hipcamp! Far enough from Indianapolis to be quiet and relaxing but close enough to drive into the city for a meal. The site looked out into a beautiful meadow and the covered carport made it feel private and safe. Jonathan had wood for a campfire set up and even offered to start the campfire so it would be ready for us when we arrived. He was really communicative and helpful. We really appreciated that he had a little first aid kit, folding table, and plenty of campfire extras in case we needed it. Apple Acres was truly lovely and we hope to return soon!

Enjoyed our stay here, Jonathan helped us lighting the fire pit as well, it would have been difficult to do without his help, as it rained a lot the afternoon. Very quiet as well as happening place, enjoyed our stay

Awesome!
This was an awesome opportunity for my family to stay in a quiet and relaxing environment. The host was polite, helpful and gracious with his property. We stayed multiple times over a two month period. Each stay was perfect and we have nothing but good things to say about our experiences. It's close to plenty of restaurants and stores all within 10 to 15 minutes drive. Our AT&T signal was perfect and we were able to use all our electronic devices. Yet, we had the perfect campsite in a rural farm setting.
