Perfect Stop for Solo Overlanders

I stayed at Coops Dream Farm as a solo traveler camping out of my Jeep with a rooftop tent, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing stops of my trip. The host was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The property is secluded and peaceful, making it a great place to unwind after a long day on the road. Instead of traffic and crowded campgrounds, I fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up to birds singing. As the sun went down, the fireflies came out and put on an amazing show—definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
During my stay, I was lucky enough to spot some local wildlife, which made the experience feel even more connected to nature. If you're an overlander, rooftop tent camper, or just someone looking for a quiet place to disconnect and recharge, Coops Dreams Farm is well worth the stop.
I'd absolutely stay here again on future adventures.

The field is very private. Even if 4 campers were there everyone could be spread out enough . We will return when traveling the I 70 corridor. Access is quick and easy. Our first visit Brad very helpfully met , and guided us to the site.

In April there were violets and Redbud's in bloom, that splash of purple was magical. We loved the cows, goats and chickens on the far end of the large fenced in field. The fire rings and cute benches made from crates were super creative. We saw cottontail bunnies, white tail deer and heard turkeys. A nice relaxing stay under a full moon.

We had a great time at Coop Dreams Farm this past weekend! Brad was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him about the farm and animals. He went above and beyond to cut out a specific campsite just for us so we could be close to the creek and then took the time to come back to make a better path to the creek for us. We were able to walk and see the cows, chickens and goats and even pet/feed the cows when they let us! The property is beautiful and we highly recommend staying here if you want a serene, private, beautiful location.

I really enjoyed my time at the Farm. Brad was accommodating, helpful and friendly. The animals were a real treat, and the site was secluded and peaceful. I would highly recommend!

The tent campsites(7?) and little cabin were in a very big field. There’s lots of space between campsites & the campsites are large so you can really spread out. We drove up to our campsite, unloaded & moved our car to a parking area- so nice not to see all the cars while camping! The beautiful cows were right there!

This is a gorgeous camping spot. I was there for only one night, but Brad was kind and accommodating. I saw a gray heron, chipmunks, and heard woodpeckers and frogs. Highly recommended!

This was such an awesome experience. We loved it all! The host was wonderful and the cows are adorable. The city of Marshall had nice restaurants and activities planned. It was great!

We spent an overnight trip and had such a great time. The cabin was well insulated with two loft areas, a main space with a couch, a covered porch, and outdoor beaches. My kiddos really enjoyed seeing the cows amd goats, playing in the creek and collecting rocks. We loved listening to all the animal sounds - both farm and wildlife! Chickens, cows, and coyotes alike!
This cabin is about one hour from Cataract Falls and one hour from Turkey Run! Perfect little weekend getaway!
The host was so helpful and communicative - we hope to return!

This is a very special place close to I70, so great for xcountry trips. Very private site in a corner of a working farm with an engaging host. Highly recommend the farm tour! Will definitely stop here again!

Great experience! Quiet, secluded area. Stream nearby. Nice and flat for tent camping. Host was flexible with a late evening check in. Bought some eggs and they were perfect. Great host with an awesome story!

Coop Dreams Cabin
This little shed was super nice for camping. It had insulation, screens in the windows, and a large leather sectional not pictured. Set on a private field surrounded by forest, this place was so pretty with the leaves changing. Across the field are fenced in cows and goats. We opted for the tour of the farm which was so worth it! We brought our dog and he had the best time! And the owners gave us delicious baked goods and a bone for our pup upon our arrival which was very sweet. The one and only suggestion we would have would be to remove the wasp nest across from the front door of the shed. The wasps bombard the door and we had to kill several that followed us inside. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend!!

Brad was a great host. Brad has a bunch of goats, chickens, cows, and horses that you will meet on your way back to the cabin. The cabin is off back by the woods. You have a lot of privacy and there's a creek. Brad added insulation to the cabin. My wife and I really enjoyed the weekend at Brad's homestead.

Man this place was fantastic!!! Brad met me when I arrived with a friendly greeting and a rundown of all the animals that would be curious about my visit.
Goats, cows and chickens were all wondering what I was up to. Once I got back to the cabin it was everything I hoped for. A hike in the woods, a quiet stream, a beautiful view of the stars.
So peaceful. Thank you to COOP Dreams, I had a lovely stay.
Word to the cabin stayer, be organized when you arrive. Brad will meet you with transportation back to the cabin. You won't have access to your car. Brad was very responsive when I forgot my lighter back in the car, so grateful for his understanding.

LOVED our stay at Coop Dreams Farm! Brad is such a friendly and helpful host. We really enjoyed learning about the farm and meeting the animals. The adorable cabin is in a nicely secluded area with a stream running behind and a cozy fire pit out front. Can't wait to visit again!
