Our campsites are fully stocked with firewood, and we request that you do not transport firewood on or off the property. Day passes are available from 7 am until sunset for guests who aren't staying overnight.

A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. We have 3 separate sites on the property. Our 24’ yurt that sleeps up to 6 with indoor toilet (no shower) propane fireplace for chilly fall and winter stays and AC for the Missouri heat; a cozy RV that sleeps 4 (queen bed and bunks in the back) offers all the amenities of home with a kitchen and bathroom (with hot water and shower); and last we have a level gravel site with 30amp electric and water hook ups (no dump capability) with picnic table, fire pit and grill available for those that want to bring their own RV. We are Pet friendly (with additional cost for the yurt) as we have our own over friendly farm dog. Come play yard games, swing, fish, bring your kayak or paddle board, kids can play or swim on our sandy beach, or just walk our 1 mile perimeter trail, a perfect place to rest, rejuvenate and recharge. Working horse facility, we host harvest host, and horse motel over night horse boarding also. We have facilities to plug in to water and electric, we have 30amp, and 110 amp, and allow dry camping. We have 7 - 12x14 box stalls with fans and bucket hooks, we have a 40x40 outdoor wooden paddock, we have a 120x100 outdoor arena, we offer free wifi to our guests. Reservations are required, we get busy spring through fall. We offer riding, trail riding, tours and hands on with horses, we have trails right off the property, there are state parks to hike in and ride in as well. There's a lake with a dock to swim in. We sell farm fresh eggs, we have t-shirts for sale, you can also order black and white photos on canvas. They're displayed in the office. We run a program for Service and Assistance dogs called Paws for Hearts COMO, we breed German Shepherds, raise and train for disabled vets, and children with disabilities, all completely donated from the dogs to the training. There are cats, dogs, chickens and horses here. Friendly people, we are laid back, warm and welcoming. We will do everything in our power to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

If I could give Double Hearts Ranch more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We took the family out for a tent camping trip, and it exceeded every single expectation. From the moment we set up camp under the wide-open skies, we knew we’d found a true hidden gem.
What makes this place world-class, though, is Tom and Tamitha. Calling them "great hosts" doesn't do it justice—their hospitality is next-level. When our camp fan broke in the middle of our stay, they went completely out of their way to bring us a fresh fan and an extension cord so we’d stay comfortable. On top of that, they treated us to fresh farm eggs and delicious, fresh-picked blackberries! You just don't find that kind of genuine care and kindness anywhere else.
A few highlights from our stay:
* Unmatched Hospitality: Tom and Tamitha make you feel like family. Their thoughtfulness turned what could have been a hot, stressful night with a broken fan into one of our favorite memories.
* Fresh Farm Goodies: Enjoying fresh eggs and sweet blackberries right at our campsite was such a special, unforgettable touch.
* Perfect Family Atmosphere: The grounds are gorgeous, amazingly kept, and ideal for tent camping. It’s quiet, peaceful, safe for the kids, and gives you that real, authentic farm-ranch feel while still being close to the lake.

Wow what a beautiful place! Katie and her family were so welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was clean and cool. The lake was lovely and fun. The sky views, 10/10! There was even a lil tarp over our camping spot’s firewood to keep it dry for guests (so thoughtful). My friends and I enjoyed our stay~ our only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer because we had to go back to work Monday - UGH!

It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin had AC, which was fantastic. But even during a July heatwave the property was a nice temperature to walk around, especially the woodland area. The host was great, and very responsive! I will stay here again.

33 ft travel trailer
Unfortunately we picked a very rainy wet time to camp here but with that said we never had any worries about getting stuck anywhere we had to get to!!! Amanda’s son met us upon arrival and was very sweet to help guide us into our spot! While we never meet Amanda face to face she was very good about communication and answering any of our questions quickly! We were mainly only there to sleep as we were away visiting family during the day. This spot worked out perfect for our needs!!

1 night at PeaceTree Farms
The cute little cabin was perfect for us! We had a beautiful walk with our dogs down to the lake, saw a ton of beautiful flowers and wildlife.

Weekend Trip to PeaceTree Farms
Quiet and quaint it’s perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating get away. The farms name is perfect, bc it really is so peaceful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and absolutely loved exploring the farm. Seeing and hearing all the wildlife and what nature has to offer was the highlight of our trip. Katie and her husband are incredibly nice and accommodating anything you may need. The cabin was clean and neat and seriously so perfect for a solo or couples get away!
