A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. We have 3 separate sites on the property. Our 24’ yurt that sleeps up to 6 with indoor toilet (no shower) propane fireplace for chilly fall and winter stays and AC for the Missouri heat; a cozy RV that sleeps 4 (queen bed and bunks in the back) offers all the amenities of home with a kitchen and bathroom (with hot water and shower); and last we have a level gravel site with 30amp electric and water hook ups (no dump capability) with picnic table, fire pit and grill available for those that want to bring their own RV. We are Pet friendly (with additional cost for the yurt) as we have our own over friendly farm dog. Come play yard games, swing, fish, bring your kayak or paddle board, kids can play or swim on our sandy beach, or just walk our 1 mile perimeter trail, a perfect place to rest, rejuvenate and recharge. Reservations are required, we get busy spring through fall. We run a program for Service and Assistance dogs called Paws for Hearts COMO, we breed German Shepherds, raise and train for disabled vets, and children with disabilities, all completely donated from the dogs to the training. It was a perfect place for us to overnight in our Revel while traveling through the area. There is a nice pond and woodsy area with plenty of privacy. We weren’t able to check out the pond due to cold temps. 🥶 We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice quiet RV spot by a pond. Worth a stop even in winter with limited services. Directions were OK, just be sure to turn left at the house at the end of the road and you'll see the camping spots.

Lovely family, a truly staggering number of chickens and all the horses are extremely, extremely polite and friendly. Loved that when we parked, there was a lovely horse immediately in view of our front window and the zoom class I had was made that much better with the singing of roosters! The farm-fresh eggs are well worth it, you get a mixed set of all colors: don't miss!
Worth noting that the site can be muddy if it's rainy - it's right next to the barn and is typical of a barnyard - but we didn't find that to be a problem. It's nice and level and we had no difficulty getting in or out.

CHICKENS! SO MANY CHICKENS!!! They were awesome, and the horses were great. Nice folks, and the site is nothing fancy to look at, but a great place to stay. Allowed for our doggos to play off leash and got to pet their nice GSDs.

As always, Katie and her husband are amazing hosts! They had the haunted hayride, and although I didn’t get to go (due to having my 2 dogs while camping), it sounded like it was so much fun from those who did get to go! I left early from my trip due to rain, but love this place and have been many times. Will continue to camp @ PeaceTree. It is so serene and just beautiful!

This was one of the most beautiful campsites we’ve experienced. It was quiet. We were secluded. The view of the lake and the hills was mesmerizing. We got up just a little early to watch the sun come up. Katie was friendly and accommodating. Free Fire Wood - YAY! We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin #2 @ Peacetree Farm. Katie was a wonderful host. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and our room had nice cool A/C with a serene view into the woods. They were welcoming of our dog and had a goofy kitten that came to play with her frequently. Stargazing was amazing; being in such a remote location and far from any major city lights. We saw several shooting stars and could clearly see the Milky Way. We walked the 1-mile loop around the gorgeous 7 acre lake and saw some breathtaking views along the way. We relaxed by the water and did some fishing - we didn't catch any but we saw another group pulling out a few good sized fish. There weren't a lot of other campers there and everyone was spread out over the property so it felt like we mostly had the place to ourselves. We had our own fire pit (wood provided) with chairs provided and also had access to our own charcoal grill. We had access to a canoe and kayaks and had planned to paddle around the lake with our dog but ran out of time. We hope to go back again in the future. This was a wonderful getaway for us to relax in nature. I highly recommend this place if you're looking looking for a very peaceful getaway in a gorgeous remote location.

Great find! We enjoyed the peaceful environment, scenic views, access to lake with various kayak/ canoe/ boating options! Would definitely stay here again. Katie was so kind to help us start a camp fire. Such a sweet heart!
