A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. We have 3 separate sites on the property. Our 24’ yurt that sleeps up to 6 with indoor toilet (no shower) propane fireplace for chilly fall and winter stays and AC for the Missouri heat; a cozy RV that sleeps 4 (queen bed and bunks in the back) offers all the amenities of home with a kitchen and bathroom (with hot water and shower); and last we have a level gravel site with 30amp electric and water hook ups (no dump capability) with picnic table, fire pit and grill available for those that want to bring their own RV. We are Pet friendly (with additional cost for the yurt) as we have our own over friendly farm dog. Come play yard games, swing, fish, bring your kayak or paddle board, kids can play or swim on our sandy beach, or just walk our 1 mile perimeter trail, a perfect place to rest, rejuvenate and recharge. The best spot we've stayed this year. 10 acres. 1 acre pond. Our dogs got to run unleashed. Listened to coyotes, owls, turkey and so many birds. So quiet and full of nature. Short distance to convience store and fuel,ice,etc. Just a few minutes into the city of Columbia. Absolutely taken care of piece of property. Perfect firepit for entertaining. We were testing our new RV for boondocking since there isn't electricity there. Everything went smoothly. Josh does have running water. That was very cool. Thanks Josh for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful Hipcamp with owners who care. We had one of three full hook up sites (as good as you’ll find anywhere) with a view across a paddock with horses and donkeys in a gorgeous setting. After a long drive, with Truck and Trailer, great to pull through into a super easy spot to both arrive, set up, and depart. We were there to visit Hannibal (Mark Twain etc) but clearly lots of great outdoor adventures to be had near by on lakes and reservoirs. Full marks and thank you!

I scored a mid-week “Reflection Ridge” campsite reservation and had a night to remember. From Katie’s escort to the spot, pointing out the fresh baby geese swimming in the lake, to my secluded, pristine campsite with a gorgeous view of the water. We absolutely loved this place. Completely private, beautiful views. The new gazebo with the picnic table and grill is a fantastic addition. Loved being in the middle of nature and just getting away from the every day hustle. The house was great. Has everything you could need. We will definitely be return visitors. Lots of wildlife to be seen and the beautiful pond just a stones throw away from the house is beautiful to look at while sitting outside. Really can’t say enough great things about the place. The owners were very attentive to anything we had questions about. 10 out of 10! You won’t be disappointed.

Peacetree Farms was full of spectacular views. We took the canoe around the lake for a few hours, walked the maintained trails on property, and enjoyed listening to the song birds all weekend.
Katie was wonderful, helped me get to the site after a late arrival, provided firewood, picnic benches and flat land to set up on.

Many of the reviews detail the available activities, all of which are worth taking advantage of, but what I find most compelling is when a host makes sure basic needs are met. Many of the tent sites you find on Hipcamp are open fields, peppered with picnic tables and fire rings, but PeaceTree's sites are carefully chosen and tailored to a camper's needs.
The property is very hilly as one would expect being nestled between the Northern Prairies and the Ozark Foothills, but each site is level, well protected with trees, and a short walk from the nearest porta-potty. A chilly night with an intense hail storm meant a warm campfire was a necessity. While there was plenty of dead wood lying on the ground, a full load of cut firewood was delivered to us shortly after we arrived.
Most of the places you find on Hipcamp provide a place to rest and have a few unique quirks, but there are very few rare exceptions like PeaceTree Farms that is such a magical place that hosts like Katie and her family can't help but share it with a community that has a voracious appetite for breathtaking views, thrilling activities, and one-of-a-kind nature experiences. We were just passing through Northeast Missouri on the last night of a roadtrip, looking for nothing more than a level pad and a fire ring, and were fortunate to have stumbled upon PeaceTree Farms. We arrived with few expectations and left our only regret being that we could not spend at least a week to take in the full experience.

Perfect family getaway. We stayed here in February when it was in the 30s/40s and the yurt stayed very warm and cozy at night. The property is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend this place!

20 ft campervan
It was a perfect place for us to overnight in our Revel while traveling through the area. There is a nice pond and woodsy area with plenty of privacy. We weren’t able to check out the pond due to cold temps. 🥶 We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice quiet RV spot by a pond. Worth a stop even in winter with limited services. Directions were OK, just be sure to turn left at the house at the end of the road and you'll see the camping spots.
