Groovy place w/Groovy Hosts
We enjoyed our stay with Lindsey & her husband Drew, and we will plan to visit again in the future. We were provided with a place to park our van for two nights, which was perfect! The other amenities on site (tents, fire pits, etc) were really neat for added camp options. The outdoor shower was amazing, and the toilet was legit for the price per night. We were immediately greeted by Drew and showed around the camp. We definitely recommend this camp for those interested in visiting Silver Springs, Rainbow Springs, Ginnie Springs and/or Cedar Key. All within 15-45 min drive depending on the direction.

Primitive Camping near Springs
Gem in a great area for activities! Our stay was cut short due to one of the children getting sick, but we enjoyed our stay. Hosts are helpful and responsive. I was so impressed with the glamping set up. This is a great place for groups to come who want an outdoor experience with the creature comforts from home.

Had a great time during our stay at Venus! We loved the tent and grounds overall:) Went on an awesome walk on a trail Lindsey recommended (Pruitt trail). Had a blast and hopefully will be back again!! Thanks Lindsey!

I definitely would recommend this for camping it’s peaceful very cute set up also extremely clean in tents bathrooms and shower . Also every spring and little shopping/ lunch spots is not far at all . My favorite is how u can actually see the stars at night , they include yoga mats which I used to view the stars at night 100% would recommend

Glamping and enjoying life
Spacious tent, homey accommodations, quiet, beautiful surroundings, bathroom and shower were much better than expected, LOVED the fire pit, we rented a propane grill for our use at the tent and it was fantastic we cooked ALL meals and desserts on it, felt safe at all times, was the absolute perfect place for my husband and I to unplug from the hectic world and just enjoy each other…we are currently booking it again for next weekend!

Star Gamping Venus Experience!
One of most comfortable outdoor experiences in Central Florida! We loved every minute of it. Our Venus tent was relaxing, and had everything we needed. Clean and simple out house. Amazing area to walk your dogs 🐶🐕and run happily. Simple community fire 🔥 along with tall trees with a small hammock and no light sources to ruin star gazing evenings 🔭✨. Behind every amazing experience there's always some minor adjustments that were not mentioned but makes the journey enduring. (The hot shower is kind of broken, turns off every 7 seconds 😞, just needs to be replaced since its old and rusted. There's alot of hog 🐗 nting nearby so you will hear distant 'scary howling all night, and hog squirming in there dying breath lol but true. Atleast the hosts Lindsey and Dru left us some new ear plugs for our sanity and amazing sleep). Yes its very dark and things are bit distance, but that's the whole purpose is to get away from the city and enjoy the great outdoors. Nearby there are great Florida country restaurants and amazing rivers to kayak and canoe at very affordable prices. Like 2 person canoe all day for $65 with the park fees + you can trout fish in the Canoe 🛶. Btw there is an area guide in your tent of all the places to go to. And we got to fellowship during the community fire and meet a very nice couple to laugh, and share stories with. Loved every moment of it and will definitely be coming back very soon to share more experiences with you our readers. Your welcome 🙏

It was so nice to not have to set up a tent and sleep on real beds instead of an air mattress! The community fire pit was welcoming and we met some really nice other campers that we enjoyed talking around the campfire and making s’mores. Nice out door shower and bathroom

Easy Camping
I loved this place. Tents are in their own little cozy space on their land and is beautifully decorated. The dogs on the neighbors land get a little rowdy but other than that it’s a perfect place for beginners or people who want an easy camping experience.

The location and Yurt accommodations were fantastic! The Yurt exceeded my expectations for cleanliness and comfort. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying at Moondancing Meadows to disconnect and enjoy nature in a comfortable setting.

The property is very nice and close to Rainbow Springs. Very comfortable bedding and furnishings. The bathroom and shower are a step above other camps we have been to. The bathroom is a bit far for middle of the night. Campfire options are well placed with a personal propane grill at the site. One caution is neighboring dogs bark incessantly! We will be back! We had a great time camping here. Everything was very clean and the campfire and cooking packages were great.
We absolutely loved being able to bring our dog. The tent was very roomy and we had more than enough space to put up a crate for the dog.
I really liked the bathroom and shower situation. All the modern amenities you want without losing the camping feel.

The camping and hospitality at Moondance Meadows was fantastic! My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Rainbow Springs! Lindsey and Drew were over the top when it came to accommodating our needs! The energy at this place is magical! We will definitely be back!

Best Glamping in the South Yet!
Of the HipCamps I’ve stayed in these are some of the most amazing folks. Our stay felt like a human sanctuary with beautifully manicured property, pastoral surroundings, and the sweetest little puppy that came to greet me at some point. Nearby Rainbow Springs is something out of this world!
The camp is removed from the owner’s house and feels like its own area. The outdoor hot shower and toilet (not outhouse) are quite the plus in terms of glamping. Everything is super clean, even the fire pit.
They were able to get my texts and came very quickly to help me set up my stove and figure out little details. Otherwise everything was thoughtfully appointed, well laid out and easy to find/use.
I don’t run hot but my other guest thought that maybe more battery operated fans may be helpful for sleeping on a cloud. To be fair though, we DID stay during the heatwave on the 1st week if August. Pure perfection though.

Glamming done right!
I absolutely loved camping on Lindsey‘s property. The yurt was so clean and comfortable even in July. The grounds were super peaceful and secluded the outdoor shower was terrific. Lindsey was always available to help out with anything that I needed her response was quick and helpful. I also loved the location; it was close to multiple springs and town was only 20 minutes away which was perfect. Thank you Lindsey I’ll see you in September!!!

Tent camping at Moondancing Meadows
Camping at Lindsey's site was amazing! Every need was met. Beautiful wide open view of the stars at night,we were near close enough to the springs, grocery stores and some really cool caves that the host actually made us a map for. The campgrounds itself has everything you could possibly need including a very peaceful vibe. This place was a great way to get away from the busy of life and unwind. Absolutely will recommend to people and we'll be back for sure. P.S the outdoor shower is a must!

The experience was amazing! The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The area is beautiful! Very spacious tents, with privacy and your own hammock and picnic table. Community fire pit and outdoor shower were nice added amenities. Plenty of other activities to do in the area as well.
We will definitely recommend and be back in the fall!

Camping to Discover Springs!
The yurt was an original experience. Very clean and decorated nicely. Everything was in good condition from the bedding, the picnic table, the outdoor shower, to the outdoor bathrooms. Bathrooms very clean and use of apple cider vinegar in addition to cedar chips to cover up smells is a great idea plus a good way to clean. The property is safe and located literally 10 minutes from the springs. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay with Lindsey and Drew, they were more accommodating (brought us forks in the middle of the night when we realized we forgot ours). Yurts were super cool and comfy. Outdoor shower was amazing! Super close to rainbow springs. Can’t wait to go back!
