the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.
also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, Mexican restaurant, Brother's Pizza and Beef O'Brady's.

I visited this gem with my mom on the first of many RV adventures. All the reviews about the amazing hosts are absolutely true. You will not find more wonderful people. The plot of land is so beautiful, soulful, thoughtful. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast, made s’mores with other visitors while they played guitar around the campfire. I mean the barn has a punching bag and a drumset… for the WIN, seriously. We visited the gorgeous local parks. Went to Twisted Oak for a beer (the place is five stars-so cool). I just can’t say enough good things. I loved it here. Magic.

Erin and Shane were incredible hosts and the loveliest people you will ever meet! We truly felt like family. Throughout our stay, we had multiple thunderstorms, and they continuously checked in on us and made accommodations for us to feel more comfortable. The site is so serene and peaceful, and we spent a lot of time hanging out with Nelly and Ruby, their longhorn cows on the property. We had such a blast tubing on Rainbow River, hanging out at the camp site, and dancing in the rain! Truly the best camp site we’ve ever stayed, and we can’t wait to be back!

She and her sister made me feel right at home and so comfortable! They went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful for them! Jessica was friendly and helpful from check-in through the stay. The pool and outside showers were clean and in good condition. The pool table inside a recreation building was in excellent shape.
My parking spot had little room for maneuverability for a 30’ class A.. I had to park head in to be able to reach the power outlet.
Then I had to back out the same way I went in until I reached a spot where I could turn around.

I loved every moment of my stay except for the moment I got lost and ran my car in a rut. Lol That was all my mistake. I could get to my campsite but it took several tries to find my way out. My stay was a 10/10. After those attempts, i had it mastered. I walked many miles exploring the camp. The animals were so fun to watch! I loved it all. I already have my spot picked out for my next stay! Oh, They have the sweetest gal at the front desk!

My son and I had such a great time in the cabin! Colleen and her mom were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their place. The accommodations were clean, AC made for a very comfortable sleep during the hot summer days. It was the perfect place for a quick drive to Crystal River and the surrounding springs that made for an unforgettable mid-week camping trip. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Shane and Erin’s campsite! They were both incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. Erin was especially helpful with recommendations for local restaurants, things to do, and places to explore in the area. They were always quick to respond to any messages or questions we had.
The amenities were wonderful and made our stay very comfortable, including the pool, kayaks, laundry facilities, and reliable Wi-Fi. We were even gifted fresh eggs on our first day, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also loved seeing the longhorn cows out in the field and enjoyed exploring the quaint nearby town.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this spot to others. The only thing to keep in mind is that the two RV sites are located fairly close together, so there isn’t a lot of privacy if both sites are occupied. Other than that, it was a great experience, and we would happily stay here again!

Where to go
Orlando and the Lake Country
Orlando’s theme parks might pull in the crowds, but the city is also surrounded by lakes and forests, affording plenty of options for fishing, paddling, and lakeside camping. Explore the hiking and horseback riding trails around Lake Apopka, cool off swimming and kayaking at Wekiwa Springs State Park, or seek out a tranquil campsite in Seminole State Forest. Further north, Ocala National Forest has 12 developed campgrounds and miles of backcountry camping.
Florida Heartlands
Florida’s rural heartlands stretch north and west of Lake Okeechobee, the state’s largest freshwater lake. This is the spot to escape the crowds, whether parking your RV on a farmland Hipcamp, hiking and paddling the wetlands of Lake Kissimmee State Park, or fishing for bass on Lake Placid.
Atlantic Coast
Just a 40-minute drive from Orlando, the Canaveral National Seashore has some of the best backcountry camping along the Atlantic Coast, where you can boat or kayak to remote islands and pitch your tent right on the beach. Further north, there are plenty of RV parks and campgrounds between New Smyrna Beach, Daytona Beach, and Palm Coast, with easy access to the beaches, dunes, and lagoons.
Gulf Coast
Urban campers have plenty of options around Tampa, the gateway to Central Florida’s Gulf Coast. Pitch your tent by white-sand beaches at Fort de Soto Park or Cayo Costa State Park, go fishing and hiking at Little Manatee River State Park, or enjoy some of Florida’s only whitewater rafting at Hillsborough River State Park.
