This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.Welcome Y'all!!  Here at North Shore Relic Ranch,  we are minutes from wekiva springs and rock springs. Plus this is home to our 11 cool cows 5 adult goats 4 baby's and about 50 crazy chickens, which you can interact with. A little bit of something for everyone.   We have some interesting vehicles on the property to check out. There are also miles of marked nature trails next to the camp sites. Lake Apopka and canals to kayak on, are only 800 feet away, and there is a 15 mile free nature drive just minutes away. Or just relax and camp/explore! (Tents available for rent, we also have 2 horse stalls for rent, so you can bring your horse to ride the trails)There are different areas around the property where you can camp. A very laid back, chill vibe. Campsite areas are quite vast, so privacy should be of no concern! Fishing is allowed on our property and next door there are state owned hiking trails and canals to fish & kayak on. Plus a boat ramp to launch with restrooms. Campers are asked not to enter/loiter around the 2 private residences, please respect privacy. (but have no concern, there is absolutely plenty of room to wander the camp area and explore!!) There is lots of wildlife so bring the camera, and not only wildlife, our farm animals are huge hams when it comes to pictures (no pun intended, lol) Fire wood/Water/ Soft drinks/ Snacks available to purchase.

Lovely Old Florida Vibe
The sites at Relic Ranch were spacious and gave a nice sense of privacy nestled under live oaks with hanging moss giving it an old Florida feel. The host met us and drove us to our choice of sites. There was a large Bard Owl living in the trees and other bird life as well. These are primitive sites, with only a port-o-let available, which were clean and all we needed. We stayed amongst a mix of van campers, tents and RVs. It was quiet and there were trails to hike. Simply lovely. My wife and I would return.

Besides the water..
Nice, quiet spot. Host was responsive and met us when we got there. He also suggested the drive through the Nature Reserve which was amazing, alligators everywhere. To say are some relics there is an understatement. It could be said that this is a junkyard with some campsites. It was kind of amazing to see that much stuff in one place. The site is listed as having potable water. This was some really bad smelling well water, I would not put it in my tanks, much less drink it. Otherwise okay.
