Camp Lake Minnehaha
Nice place to crash. A little pricey for primitive. Not as quiet. But he allowed a quick reservation in a time of need. Thanks.

Camp Lake Minnehaha
Not for me as a tent camper
Cons outweighed the pros here for my preferred tent-camping style.
Pros:
Close to downtown Clermont
The beach is really nice- go watch the sunset here!
Cons:
-VERY noisy: house directly next door has a motion censor that went off constantly between 8PM and 7AM. It is very alarming- it says: “HI, you are being video recorded.” 4 car alarms went off nearby at all hours, people with loud engines driving by all night…
-Someone walked right by my tent twice at 6 AM waking me up and spooking me a bit as a solo female camper. I prefer more distance and privacy.
Your preference might be different though!

Camp Lake Minnehaha
Peter is a very gracious host. The quiet backyard site felt very private, yet close to everything in Clermont.

Unexpected Friendship
Funny how life can put you in the right place at the right time. I thought I was just camping out for one night at Peter's neighborhood campsite on New Year's Eve.
To my surprised, Peter had lots of interests in common. We nearly talked for 2 hours the moment I arrived. I would say he is a renaissance man.
He is an awesome host and new friend. With all that is going on in the world it's great to meet genuine people doing amazing things.

Fun primitive experience
Great host, I had a great stay for my fishing trip. He list exactly what’s available and very knowledgeable of the area.
