Grissome Pkwy. Launch View

First site is a 12x32 concrete slab with city water and a 30-amp camper electric service. The second site (near the rear of the property) is a 10x14 concrete slab with city water and a household electric service of about 13 amps. No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. I recommend stopping at a truck stop and empty the black water holding tank. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!

Hey guys! As avid campers and adventure seekers ourselves, we know how important safe (and cost effective) space for a night or two is. That’s why we decided to offer a corner of our own rural paradise - amongst the mature oaks, blooming magnolias and palms. We have just under 7 acres with plenty of yard to share. It’s pretty basic space without a lot of amenities (yet), but we know you’d love it here. Our pricing reflects our humble start and we invite you to park your RV, pop open your tent and make yourself at home. A few things you can expect… ~Wherever you decide to set up camp, we will provide a picnic table, trash can and fire pit with wood. ~We are super pet friendly so bring your furry family members and we will ensure they’re safe and comfortable as well. ~There is access to water from the main house. ~ Electricity can be provided depending on how close you set up to the house. WiFi as well. ~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day. ~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet! ~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse. ~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs! ~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks. ~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Forgot bug spray or need a band-aid? We got you! Need a board game, yard game or puzzle? We got those too! ~ Want total privacy? That’s ok too! Watch us grow and come back as our offerings grow too. Family Farm Close to Everything!

Don't stay in the middle of another loud, packed campground. Enjoy the peace and quiet that only comes from staying in a quiet rural setting with absolutely NO other campers onsite. At Koblasz Farms, the value is in the privacy. You get the property to yourself, guaranteed. Walk with the animals. Talk with the animals. Koblasz Farms is one of the few farms remaining in Seminole County, and the only breeder of registered Scottish Highland Cattle. These beautiful girls are part of the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world. They will take your breath away as they mingle in your surrounding pastures. If you are lucky, you may even see one born. Few things in life are cuter than Scottish Highland calves, unless you ask the mini-donkeys or the goats that will do their best to convince you otherwise. Feeding experiences available. And wildlife abounds. You can expect to see deer, wild turkeys, eagles, hawks, cormorants, cranes, turtles, and other wildlife. We are conveniently located 40 minutes from Disney, an hour from Daytona Beach, 50 minutes from New Smyrna Beach, and 20 minutes from downtown Orlando. We are also minutes away from parks for hiking, picnicing, kayaking and canoeing on the Little Wekiva River including the Wekiva River State Park, Katie's Landing, and Wekiva Landing.

Camp Shiloh

97%
(133)
28mi from Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park · 2 sites · Tents, RVs, Lodging
Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! Learn more about this land: Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! We aren't fancy, but are clean, secure, and private. You can come and go as you please, and day-trip all over beautiful central Florida!

Roots ReTREEt in Old Florida

100%
(54)
33mi from Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park · 3 sites · RVs
The Roots ReTREEt is situated on 4.5 acres tucked away in Old Florida of Volusia County. The name comes from the roots that stretch throughout the property with the TREEs providing a sanctuary for all who come to rest. Our little piece of paradise has so much serenity with a fully wooded landscape while its only miles from fun things to do: surfing, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, paddling, swimming and more! If you're lucky enough to experience the wildlife that shows up regularly, you could have the pleasure of seeing wild animals like: turkeys, deer, pigs, armadillos, hawks, dragonflies, butterflies, turtles and many others. We're proud of our oasis and thrilled to share it with folks that appreciate protected land as much as we do. The land is part of the resource corridor, which is protected wetlands and it is environmentally sensitive and ecologically significant. This means that it is an ecosystem that supports the wildlife and cannot be touched or manipulated in any way. Lucy's place is our community space for you and your family's use. It has lots of seating, plenty of places to relax, a grill and outdoor sink for cooking, and a gas fireplace to enjoy the scenery at night. A hot tub awaits you, which is open to the stars and great after a day of lounging or fun out and about. We are close to everything but far enough for you to relax after a fun day of exploring. Daytona Speedway is a 30 min. drive. You can be on the beach in 20 min. or putting your boat/jet skis in the river in 15 min. We'd be honored to share what we consider to be heaven on earth with you. :-)
