The campground was great. Check in very easy. Kids pool was down the weekend so thatwas a bummer but overall was a great stay. The sturgeon jump out of the water non stop so that was awesome watching.

10/10 would recommend!! It was great for what me and my boyfriend were looking for. Private and spacious, as well as full of nature and wildlife. It almost felt like u were in the middle of nowhere, yet just a 5 minute drive to a cute town. The stars were AMAZING at the site. William was very responsive, helpful, and 10/10 host. The area is in great location to the springs as well. We only really experienced the tics near the firewood which is not where you would be camping anyway, the rest of the area seemed pretty good. Thank you again William!!!

6 nights at Royal Springs Riverfront Retreat

Our second stay at Royal Springs and it was great. Had our canoe and it was difficult to get it in and out because the water was so low, but enjoyed floating down river and trolling up river. Spent some time at the springs and that was lovely. This is a special spot!

1 night at Florida Georgia Line River Camp

This site was absolutely gorgeous! This was not only my first time using Hipcamp, but also my first time taking out my new RV! I felt way more comfortable and confident taking it to a place where I was able to set up while taking our time! Not only was the site perfect to set up, and so easy to be able to pull the RV through (no backing up necessary), but my pups LOVED swimming in the river! It was just the perfect site and location and I’d love to visit again!

2 nights at Bowman's Landing

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Everyone was friendly!! Lots a wildlife around, saw plenty of deer roaming around & of course the hens roaming around. Cabin 8 was clean & very cool!! That was a bonus!! The water was perfect temperature, when needing a quick cool. Beware of ticks, I only got one but it’s bound to happen. 10/10 would recommend coming to Bowman’s land! Camping or glamping!

April’s campsite was great - I have no complaints! Beautiful, clean, and so convenient - places like Ichetucknee springs, grocery stores, and gas stations were just 10 minutes away. She is very kind as well and very hospitable. It was a little tricky to put the steaks in the ground for tents as there were quite a few rocks but that didn’t pose too much of a problem. With cool clean water, a clean toilet, a very nice fire ring, a clean picnic table, and decent WiFi, it was a great campsite! I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested, families, friends, or solo campers. It seemed like a very safe area as well and all the locals were very kind and helpful.

3 nights at Bowman's Landing

(My last name is Bowman but I have no connection with the landing whatsoever, just stumbled across it during a google search and glad I did!) I LOVED this location! It was just me (mom) and my three kids (14, 10, and 7). We loved every minute of it. Jesse was so kind and helpful! We felt safe the whole time! The bathrooms were clean and spacious! I just recommend taking a little fan in there with you when you go. They had popsicles in freezer and puzzles and books for the kids to enjoy! My kids loved the water mat! It was so quite and peaceful! We all enjoyed seeing the deer all around us! Will definitely be back many more times in the near future!

2 nights at Kokomo Farms

I loved staying in Kokomo. There were tons of rescue animals, bathrooms, showers with hot water, a fridge, grills, games, hot tub, art, and wild blackberries to eat. I got to wake up to the sounds of the animals and wildlife. There were lots of national parks around. My only regret is not being able to dive the underwater caves at Peacock Springs State Park.

Camping on Micheal’s property was awesome! Jewel sink itself is absolutely stunning and there is tons of open space around you. It’s a great location, not far from Newberry, so you can make a town run if needed. Micheal himself was super kind and helpful! My only downside is the insane amount of ants (fire & regular) that are present in the camping area, just something to make a note of! bring tall boots LOL

1 night at Wildflower Pond and Woodlands

5 stars for peace, charm, and the best night’s sleep under a sky full of stars If you’re looking for a beautiful peaceful place to unwind that still feels tucked away but not too far off the highway this is it. No KOA!!! Yay Easy to access even with a big rig. I pulled my 34 foot quad bunk and diesel truck right up to the 30 amp hookup with no problem. The property has that perfect mix of wild and welcoming. There’s a sweet little pond full of catch and release fish, great for kids. Bring some worms and let them catch their first fish in a setting that feels like magic. Lots of places to just sit and unwind or Lay in a hammock Our site had a perfect fire pit and they offer wood on site along with fresh eggs straight from the hens. Hands down the best eggs I’ve ever had, especially with a T bone on the skillet. There are also some super cute A frame rentals, a garden, a few pups running around, and some farm animals that made our stay feel even more special. Allie the host was incredibly sweet and helpful to me and my family. You can feel the love she’s put into the land. If you’re looking for peace, stars, nature, and a real deal farm stay that’s kid friendly and easy to settle into this place is the one. Will absolutely be back.

1 night at 4A River Camp

Great spot but you are literally in someone's side yard...this was a bonus for me since I was solo camping. You can kayak to the Ichetucknee but paddling up it is quite the endeavor. This spot was clean and level with firepit. It is just a few feet down to the Santa Fe River and it was fairly easy to pull my single kayak up and down the hill to the river. There is a great limestone area in front of the camping spot that is perfect for floating....but wear river shoes. It was also nice to have the private parks on the Ichetucknee...the water was beautiful. There was a hot shower and outdoor sink. There was also a bucket toilet in the shower but i never needed since im self contained. The host was very quick to respond and quite pleasant but they were not home so i had the whole place to myself. As a solo camper i felt very safe. Be sure to drive into Branford for the smash burger from Burger Heaven.....soooo good!

Weekend Trip to Cabin At Little River Springs

This is a great, spacious and fairly private campsite. The little cabin is super rustic and perfect for sleeping in air conditioning and away from the bugs. It has a tiny screened in porch you can chill in too. We made campfires every morning and night, and cooked over the fire. The campsite has a picnic table and a lock box with some extra items. We brought our boat and a paddle board, and hung hammocks in the trees. The town of Branford is a short drive away and has a decent grocery store, some restaurants and a nice boat launch. You can easily walk through the woods behind the cabin to reach the river and the Little River Springs. Boots recommended, as there's snakes and brush. We had a lovely time and would recommend it! 💚

We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. Glenn Farm

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Parking is allowed on site and set up is at your discretion. Campsite is about approximately 50x50 and includes use of outdoor composting toilet, picnic table, outdoor chairs, trash can with lid, outdoor hand washing area w/ water, and a nice sized fire ring. (Wood is available for your enjoyment and ease, but please only use what you need) Hosts are on site 24/7 for ease of making your stay comfortable and we will ensure all your needs are met in a timely fashion. This is PRIMITIVE camping site and would not be suitable for RV’s. Van camping is allowed and can hold up to three vans or cars. Small walking trails available behind the campsite. This campsite is not on any water. We do have a boat launch 5 minutes away: Lots of local places listed below! Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world. Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore. The deer can be found quite easily every morning and evening while riding around and rarely run away from the vehicles. We appreciate the ongoing support from local and state agencies and are dedicated to holding regular meetings to share information and develop collaborative safety strategies. During busy periods, such as holiday weekends and special events, we will increase our staff presence to ensure a secure atmosphere. We expect to have these additional resources in place within the next month. Furthermore, we are in the process of engaging a third-party expert to review our current security measures. This partnership will help us create a comprehensive approach to safety protocols and allow us to continuously update our response plans. We value objective analysis and actionable insights from our future partners, as well as our collaboration with local authorities. Located on the Suwannee River, the campground sits on 62 acres of beautiful nature. My brother and I got the property in April of 2017. The place used to be a campground and also on the property is a restaurant. The place was very popular, but unfortunately somehow it got closed. Now we brought it back to life and we are ready to welcome everyone to come and enjoy this beautiful peace of property on the Suwannee.
