There are 5 restaurants on the water that are a short ride bicycle, golf cart or 1 wheel ride away. One is a Hooters. Within 2 blocks is a Dunkin Donuts, Culvers and Hardees. Walmart is accessible without driving on 19. If you need fuel there is a WaWa and Walmart station. The Veteran's Expressway is a short drive east which makes a drive to the Tampa Fairgrounds less than 1 hour. We have a 50 amp covered full hook up spot, a 50 amp with water spot and 6 plus boondocking spots. We have a place to dump and refill the water tank. We aren't fancy, just very convenient.

Our RV and Tent Campsites are located in a grassy field next to dense woods. Electric and water hookups are included in the RV/Camper sites, but not the Tent Site. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Our newly renovated restrooms on the property have toilets and one shower. A boardwalk takes you along the Cotee River to our two open air pavilions with several places to sit and enjoy nature. Cell phone service is not a problem, as we are not remote (although it sort of feels like we are when you are here) - we are 5 min from downtown New Port Richey, 2 minutes from groceries, gas, restaurants.
This beautiful slice of Old Florida is named for the Pithlachascotee River that bends along the back side of the property. Pithlo is the Creek word meaning canoe, and chaskita means to dig or chop out, together signifying "place where canoes are chopped or dug out". Seminoles of this area used canoes dug out from the great cypress trees found along Florida rivers.
From the 1980s until 2014, this property was owned by the Cotee River Lions Club. They held a popular monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser in the large pavilion along the river. We purchased this 4.9 acres of land in late 2019. It is now where we live and have a woodworking shop. It has been a magical place for us, with no shortage of wildlife, rich jungle forest, a winding narrow river, and even the occasion river otter sighting.
We are grateful to all the humans who have occupied this place over the centuries before us for keeping it as nature intended it. It is our intention to do our part to conserve and protect its natural beauty as long as possible. We hope you find it to be as restful and rejuvenating as we do.

It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete as we are right between the beaches and downtown (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$10 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience"
We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo.
This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby.
There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed!
The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite!

Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants.
Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too.
Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand.
Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas.
The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish).
Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property.
We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!

Welcome to Tranquil Oaks near the Gulf Coast! Secluded camping only 5 minutes from Lake Manatee State Park. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, s'mores by the fire pit, and experience a slice of old Florida charm while being only 10 minutes from I-75 and 40 minutes from the world-renowned white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.
Your site includes a large concrete patio with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit. This secluded RV/tent campsite offers electric and you can fill up your water tank with our hose.
The site is located next to our cattle ranch, and you will likely see our sweet herd of cows grazing in a nearby pasture (some of the friendly ones may come up to the fence to say hi). This offers you privacy while still being close to I-75 and all the modern conveniences (Publix supermarket is 1 mile away).
We are third generation cattle ranchers here in beautiful Bradenton, Florida, and on our property you'll find many species of palm trees and tropical plants.
Mornings are filled with birdsong, and you may see Sandhill Cranes, Ospreys, White Ibis, or even a Roseate Spoonbill -- and of course the rabbits, lizards and monarch butterflies that also enjoy this special little slice of paradise.
We live in the house next door to the campsite, and you'll likely see Ryan around the property working during your stay.
Our ranch offers you a chance to relax and reconnect with nature, while only being minutes from restaurants and convenience stores; 15 minutes from University Town Center, 15 minutes from Ellenton Outlets, and 30 minutes to downtown Sarasota.

3 nights at The Bougainvillea Glamping Tent
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property while celebrating our 4-year anniversary. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and the hosts were exceptional.
The only thing worth noting is that the property is near a busy road, so the traffic noise can be heard at times. That said, it was not a major issue and was easy to ignore.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Fun place, cool people. I was naked pretty much from the moment Jessica welcomed me in, to the time I left 3 days later. I expected just a one night stay over on my journey, but made friends and didn't want to leave. Great experience. The solar lighting at night gives the grounds around the pool a great vibe. Karaoke party Saturday night was a blast. I'll be back!

1 night at Rasayana Cove
I had the pleasure of being the only camper there when I went and the privacy was incredible. His 25 acres include a watershed that creates a beautiful creek. All the property surrounding him is cattle pastures so you do not have to worry about running into any human neighbors. The hermitage cabin was perfect. I mostly spent my time wandering the property but when it was time to sleep the cabin provided me a safe place to stay and the box fan worked all through the night to keep me cool despite the hot, humid Florida evening. Dennis was a lovely host and showed me the features of the property upon check in and helped make sure I had a fire started before he went. I would highly recommend staying on Dennis’s land.

Great place to visit if you are not found of modern life, if you really want to know how to live life with simplicity, you really need to visit this place. Big thanks for Dinesh. It shows how life supposed to be. I am very much found of nature so I really don’t care about facility at all. Where you have nature you don’t need comfort. Just prepare your mind. This is great place to spend some good time with nature. Thank you very much for Dinesh hospitality.

Jessica was friendly and helpful from check-in through the stay. The pool and outside showers were clean and in good condition. The pool table inside a recreation building was in excellent shape.
My parking spot had little room for maneuverability for a 30’ class A.. I had to park head in to be able to reach the power outlet.
Then I had to back out the same way I went in until I reached a spot where I could turn around.

We stayed at the Cotee River Hip Camp and would recommend it to others. Laura and JR are very welcoming and their hospitality was greatly appreciated. The property sits on 5 acres and offers a view via a boardwalk to the Cotee River. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was recently renovated.

This is my second time coming and I highly recommend. We are at the dock and there's so much room. Our dogs were able to run around. Funny thing is that I am currently about to book another night but this survey came up first. Yall should definitely try it!!!

I had a fantastic stay at this Hipcamp! The site was super easy to get to, with a big concrete slab perfect for my RV. It was close to the beaches, so getting out and about was a breeze. The place was quiet, and the hosts were really respectful—they gave me my space. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a big bonus! I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others.
