It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$12 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout & enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset under the bamboo. This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with playgrounds and dog parks nearby. There are many owls, raptors, green parrots and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed! The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown.

Overall, a good, short and sweet stay. The chicken coop was super cute and the host even let us take any eggs that were in there. Great communication from host, too. If you’re looking for somewhere to actually relax and unwind this may not be for you as you are in a residential neighborhood on a driveway with no gate. Just a heads up as well, If you choose the coop side, there is no electric, despite spending an extra $12 for hookup - we ended up switching to the beehive side as luckily there was no other campers so we could use the 30amp.

Truly An Urban Oasis
The location is perfect. You are 15 minutes from downtown St Pete, 15 minutes from St Pete Beach and less than 5 minutes to a grocery store. The neighborhood is very quiet and we enjoyed our concierge, Mr Rooster. We will definitely be back! Thank you Jennifer for opening up your beautiful property to Hipcampers.

This was a great place to stay, very quiet neighborhood and relaxing by the chicken coop, level driveway, and less than 10 mins from the Dali museum. Jennifer was very welcoming and offered us two delicious newly-laid eggs as a substitute for the star fruit, which was not in season.

Very nice welcoming family that lets you park on their front driveway. Felt very comfortable there, great location to check out the area.
