We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.) The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring. Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

In this leafy paradise lives gopher tortoises (they act like gophers, but are tortoises!), alligators, black bears, and the skunk ape, also known as the “stink ape,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to bigfoot. Areas of recreation include Ocean Pond--a fave place for boaters, skiiers, and campers, and Olustee Beach for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience" We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo. This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby. There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed! The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite! We love our city - happy to give recommendations.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by! Learn more about this land: Park your van/small RV, pitch your tent, or stay in the Glamping Greenhouse on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. The nearest I-95 exit is just 3 miles away. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and (usually) firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! We aren't fancy, but are clean, secure, and private. You can come and go as you please, and day-trip all over beautiful central Florida!

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

Our stay was FANTASTIC. The staff was extremely hospitable and treated us like family members who they wanted to be as comfortable and have as much fun as possible. The grounds are cute and well kept. There is so much to do at the site and perfect for campers with kids. If you want even more adventure you need only drive 10 min to the nearby springs. Would highly recommend, especially if you love swimming. We definitely plan on staying again!

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Bowmans. Even though it was a weekend, we felt it was very quiet and private. The cabin had everything we needed. Easy road access. The hose is super nice. Greeted us as soon as we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Kevin’s property was absolutely amazing! The entire property was beautifully maintained, very well kept, and clearly shows the pride and care put into it. Everything was clean, peaceful, and made for a wonderful camping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to get away. Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

It was absolutely Magical! A Frame🏡🌺🌻🍃Where do We start? From the moment we entered the gate the land just took over all thoughts , feelings, & senses🤗🥰🙏🏼🕯️ I had not felt that much peace and tranquility in decades.🍄🦋🌻🌺🐸 This is truly an adult fairy land site….. The entire A frame has everything you need. 🛌📺 🍽️☕️🚿🧻🚰Bring cloths, toothbrush, food & some essentials John and John Jr. were very helpful & kind🫡 walking trail’s The common area is setup clubhouse style, all natural nature, beautiful decor, all matching the natural aesthetics of the landscape. It also has a dock with a second level to jump off into the water of the river that they have flowing through the back side of property! I don’t feel no description can describe how wonderfully magical this place is. It’s a must do must see! We will definitely be back Thank you so much for everything that was absolutely wonderful and an anniversary, We’ll never forget.❣️🥰🤗

We went during the week, so we had the place to ourselves, which was wonderful. We loved that our tent was so close to the beach. The tent was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. The property was beautiful. We will book again.

Weekend Trip to The Wandering Path

This place is amazing. I went for the first time camping alone with my daughter and our two dogs. Doing it all by myself was a huge undertaking, but I’m so proud I did it. The camp grounds are very well maintained, our spot was completely shared which I loved. Later in the evening temperatures cooled and we were able to have such a fun time. The host is very aware of what is needed and making sure everyone is having a good time. There’s running water bathrooms and showers and that’s just so nice especially during warm weather. The river is so close, the water is so refreshing! Just amazing! We loved it and would do again!

Had an awesome time the second time around! This is definitely a go-to spot for being on the River. Bring tick repellent - ticks are REAL bad in these woods! Grill grate over the fire pit makes for 5-star camping meals. The bathrooms and complimentary coffee station make Bowman’s feel like a slice of comfort during a rugged get-away. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Weekend Trip to Wilderness Shores Ranch Campground!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We got lucky enough that almost nobody was here so it was so quiet and private for us. Although if you came and it was busy, there would be little privacy unless you chose the boondocking spots (which are amazing but you have to have a car that can drive on the rugged roads- ours could not make it). The bathrooms were kept clean and smelled nice. We saw plenty of wildlife. The staff (Lorraine) was amazing, kind and super helpful. She even took us on a tour of the property which was so fun and informative. She checked on us several times even after the rain to make sure we were all good and had dry clothes and bed sheets. The animals were TO DIE FOR. they were all so friendly and cute. We will be back.
