My wife and I created Malakai after the heartbreaking loss of our 21-year-old daughter, JoLisa Marie Roadcap (little jo) . What began as a way to honor her memory has become a place where families, couples, solo travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts can slow down, reconnect, and find rest at safe place . Aframe Cabin Tent nestled in a 4 acre olive orchard. We are a working farm and harvest and mill our olives into high quality, extra virgin olive oil. Free range chickens and ducks and rescue dogs roam the grounds. Cabin tent side opens, queen bed, Wi-fi, heat and AC, TV, electric outlets and fire pit. Kitchenette and bathrooms are separate from the cabin tent. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster over/ air fryer, hot plate, pots and pans. Bathrooms have showers with hot water and flushing toilets. Located on the bike path, close to Weeki Wachee River Mermaids and the beautiful Chassahwitzka River. Relax, rest and take it all in. Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 owned micro-farm in a rural area of Tallahassee on the beautiful Lake Talquin. The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible.
As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming.
Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months!
It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell specialty cottage goods and natural goat milk products. We also sell raw goat milk (for pet consumption only, as per Florida law - Master Feed License #ZOO406).

Welcome to the Scramble On Inn! An "Old Florida" vibe in Florida's Manatee Capitol of Crystal River. The property is private, yet just minutes from stores, restaurants and the water.
The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy.
Your cabin is fully supplied with bedding, towels, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and silverware, AC in the summer months, and an electric fireplace in the winter.
Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, and a swing from the tree.

The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water.
During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there.
Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too.
There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside.
Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River.
We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year.
Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's.
We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River!
Oh, and don't forget to stop by Grandma's gift shop before you leave.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Bowmans. Even though it was a weekend, we felt it was very quiet and private. The cabin had everything we needed. Easy road access. The hose is super nice. Greeted us as soon as we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

John and John Jr. were very helpful & kind🫡 walking trail’s The common area is setup clubhouse style, all natural nature, beautiful decor, all matching the natural aesthetics of the landscape. It also has a dock with a second level to jump off into the water of the river that they have flowing through the back side of property!
I don’t feel no description can describe how wonderfully magical this place is. It’s a must do must see!

Kokomo Farms is such a refreshing and magical escape from reality! 🌿✨ There’s so much to do and explore, and getting up close with the animals and feeding them treats is such a sweet experience. The greenhouse is beautiful, with so many plants for sale! The gentleman who welcomes you is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. And of course, a special shoutout to SweetPea the parrot! 🦜💚 Such a charming, wholesome experience that everyone should get to enjoy!

I had an amazing time as always! Dennis was great and brought fresh firewood on my first night and made sure to explain how to use the camp stove and make sure everything was okay. Super peaceful property with tons of vibrant wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and if you happen to be there during a storm, a lovely tin roof to top it all off.

The hosts and co-hosts were kind folks. The property is right on the river and the river is beautiful there. There were nice trails in the woods to walk and saw some deer too. So pretty and peaceful. They have two docks far enough from each other that you can float on a tube for about 15 minutes and easy walking distance through their trails back. Super cute place! Thank you Bowman's!

The A-frame was awesome and the perfect glamping spot! It’s tucked away in a private location that gives you the feeling of camping while still having all the comforts you need, including AC, a comfy bed, hot showers, a flushing toilet, a kitchen, and potable water. The location was also perfect for exploring the rivers, springs, and other beautiful natural areas nearby.
DD was so kind and welcoming! We were greeted with fresh eggs and strawberry-infused olive oil made right there on the grove. They also have chickens, ducks, and the cutest rescue dog. All of these special touches made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our weekend in Cabin 2. The tiny cabin feel was perfect for our family. Our toddler truly enjoyed seeing deer on our morning walks and the river access gave our dog a safe place to cool off. The tree swing was also a big hit for us. Quick drive to Ichetucknee Springs which was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
