The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming. Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months! Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's. Come camp in the woods right off the Perdido River. There is a short walk to the cabin, either along boardwalks or via a trail, and we provide carts to make it easy. Across the floating bridge is a sandbar where you can hang out with other river rats and enjoy a cold one. The Perdido River is known for great tubing and kayaking. We have tubes available to loan. A float from Fillingim’s Landing to our sandbar takes about four hours with stops. If you’re looking for an all-day adventure, you can put in at Barrineau Park Bridge. We are 420-friendly, and if you want to enjoy a beer, we’ll probably join you. There is a large outdoor fire pit and grills available for use. I also have camping hammocks that can be set up for extra guests, as well as a camping toilet. All I ask is that you clean up after yourselves, bring all trash up front to the garbage cans, and keep the volume down by 10:00 p.m.

I had a great time with me and my animals. I enjoyed being in the cabin and near the river. I didn't have a vehicle and Tracy and Dave offered to bring me to the store and grab gas for the generator. Thank you for such a fun 10 day vacation and I appreciate spending my birthday with Tracy's beautiful family tubing on the river. I'd absolutely stay again.

My son and I had such a great time in the cabin! Colleen and her mom were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their place. The accommodations were clean, AC made for a very comfortable sleep during the hot summer days. It was the perfect place for a quick drive to Crystal River and the surrounding springs that made for an unforgettable mid-week camping trip. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Weekend Trip to The Olive Grove

My fiancé and I had an absolutely amazing time staying at Cabin 1. It was an adorable A-frame cabin that was well-kept and today when we arrived. There was a wonderful fire pit where we made all sorts of food and a metal grill to use with it. There was a kitchen area with every cooking utensil one might think of. The wonderful hosts supplied us with fresh eggs and olive oil which was SUCH a great treat!!! There's a fridge on site and the bathrooms are great and kept clean!!! The hosts were very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

I LOVED this spot, secluded and right next to a beautiful and clean river. The short walk to the cabin was very enjoyable although it’s a little rough on the wagon if you’re hauling heavy stuff but nothing crazy. The neighbors that come to the river are SO sweet and a good time all around, though id leave dogs at the cabin out of respect for the people at the river!!! I’m totally going to come here again I had the best time.

We have stayed here many times and this was our third visit bring friends. So far everyone we have brought has loved it too! Air conditioned sleeping space and a safe place to have a fire that is more quiet than many state parks we have camped at. The goats are precious and very well taken care of. You can tell she loves them all. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite hip camp in Florida. We bring friends with us and put them up in the cottage because it is swanky rustic! Even our city friends from Atlanta loved it. The bed is super comfy, and it's always clean and welcoming. The farm is snuggled into the forest and you can feel it, it's wonderful. The goats are friendly and know they are loved and you can feel that too. We did learn something new this time: don't wear cut off shorts with strings hanging unless you want even more attention! We highly recommend!

I had the most amazing glamping experience! It was the perfect peaceful getaway to slow down, unplug, and enjoy nature. My favorite evenings were spent sitting by the fire making s’mores and looking up at the incredible star-filled sky. I loved being able to pick fresh blueberries, gather eggs from the chickens, and harvest green beans, squash, and radishes straight from the garden. Cooking a meal with fresh ingredients from the property made the experience feel even more special and unique. The location was also great; there are beautiful springs just 20 minutes away, making it easy to spend part of the day exploring. One of the biggest highlights for me was being able to bring my dog along. We both had the best time enjoying the peaceful surroundings and open space. If you're looking for a relaxing nature escape with thoughtful touches, fresh farm experiences, and a chance to truly unwind, I highly recommend staying here. The tiny a-frame was super cool. The bed is a little big for the space but super comfortable. Fridge, microwave, ice maker....all the conveniences of any other vrbo/airBnb, even a grill. The bathroom was super clean and convenient as was the outdoor shower. Way more decoration and landscaping than any other Hipcamp I've been to. Our dog was exhausted from chasing squirrels and running back and forth across the property all weekend.

Colleen is a wonderful host. The cabin is cozy and well-built - kept critters and rain outside. The window AC unit was a life saver in the FL summer heat. The outdoor shower was heated. - a nice, intentional touch that made a world of difference coming back from fishing in Ozello State Park. The magic of this cabin is at dawn and dusk. The crickets, frogs, and birds make a beautiful symphony in the cool stillness. Which can be enjoyed on the patio on the rocking chair. Bait and tackle, groceries, and restaurants all withing reasonable driving distance. Plenty of boat ramps and fishing around. I absolutely loved my stay.
