Joe and his wife deserve recognition because what theyāve built here is honestly kind of magical.
From the second you arrive you can feel how much thought went into the place. It feels safe, intentional, and just⦠good. Thereās a peaceful little walking path, small details everywhere, and this unspoken positive energy where even other guests say good morning like normal humans instead of pretending nobody exists.
Joe goes out of his way to make sure youāre set up with whatever you need without hovering. You can tell this isnāt just a side project ā they actually care and theyāre still expanding and making it even better.
I stayed in the glamping tent and it was easily the best sleep Iāve had in weeks. As someone who spends about 7 months a year on the road and drives 60,000+ miles annually, I donāt say that lightly. Iāve stayed in a lot of places. This is easily one of the best.
My dogs were welcomed like they were just part of the deal (which any traveler with dogs knows is rare), the shower was great, the bathroom was clean and well kept, and everything just worked the way you hope places will but often donāt.
My only real regret is not finding this place sooner. If I had known about it earlier, I would have happily stayed for weeks instead of just a couple nights.
This is the kind of spot you hope people treat with respect so it remains what it is, but I know Joe will keep it that way.
