The Wandering Path
7 sites · Lodging, Tents21 acres · Milton, FLThe Wandering Path is located 20 minutes north of downtown Milton FL, with 2000 feet of water frontage alongside the beautiful Coldwater Creek. We are more of a nature retreat than a traditional campground, offering spaced out Glamping and primitive camping along the creek, secluded in the middle of 20 acres. We take pride in the amount of peace and tranquility that this land has to offer and strive to keep it as peaceful as possible. If you’re looking to escape the everyday noises and stresses of life, this is for you. We currently have 4 Glamping tents (sites 1,2,3 and 7) on a wooden platform with electricity and 3 primitive campsites. Each Glamping tent has a full size (real) bed, lamp, fan, AC in the summer/heater in the winter and small storage shelf for food/clothes. Outside, there are solar string lights, picnic table, fire pit ring, small charcoal grill and trash can. Primitive sites have solar string lights, fire pit ring and trash can. The bath house is centrally located and is complete with 2 showers, 2 sinks and 2 toilets. There are 2000 feet of trails alongside the creek for hiking. Kayak rentals are available for guests with 24 hour notice. You may also bring your fishing gear and are welcome to fish in the spring fed creek. At night time, the stars are breathtaking without any city lights and every night is a perfect night for a camp fire. We look forward to becoming your go-to spot when you’re in need of recharging. Please pardon our progress as we grow! We are less than 1 hour from Pensacola and Navarre beaches, 15-20 minutes to local grocery stores and restaurants. At this time, no pets or children under 12 are allowed in yurts.

Suwannee River Glamping
2 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents6 acres · White Springs, FLIn 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

Celestial Acres
3 sites · RVs, Tents2 acres · Hastings, FLWelcome to our little homestead. We have a bit of extra space on the backside of our 2 acre property so we thought we would try out hip camp to offer some boondocking. There is a concrete road that you would back down and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Surrounded by farm land and horse pastures. We just finished traveling the country in an RV with five of our 7 kids (oldest two were in college) and we had a terrible time finding places to stay in Saint Augustine when we came home to visit. I hope that we can offer some nice people a safe and beautiful place to park their rig for a few nights. Things to do: The property is near the historic St. Augustine, a fun walkable/bikeable city and an awesome beach! Other things to note: 6 Miles away is 4 Lakes Campground with dumping facilities

Blessed by year-round sunshine and warm weather, Florida is an always appealing destination for campers and RVers. Sunshine seekers and snowbirds heading south will find some excellent beachside Florida campsites and RV parks where they can escape the chill of the north and soak up some winter sun. But when the heat of summer is on, the Sunshine State’s hundreds of beachside campsites—from Destin in the north to Cayo Costa State Park in the central Gulf Coast, and Long Key State Park in the south—also offer easy access to the ocean to cool off. South Florida and the Keys make for perfect winter getaways, while the cooler beaches of northwest Florida are best in summer. Throughout the state, Florida's beachside sites offer plenty of facilities, as well as easy access to hiking and biking trails and on-the-water fun, from casting a line to launching a kayak.
