My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it!  Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house.  So, we decided to start searching.  Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach.  But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January.  We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month.  So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway.  We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale.  We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it!  And now, we can share it with all of you.  Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends.  You only live once!   GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side).  The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path).  Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach! We enjoyed our stay here so much! The lot offers a lot of privacy with the fence on 3 sides. Very short walk to the public beach access. This is our second stay in this neighborhood and we will definitely be coming back to this lot!

The location of this site is very nice, and we absolutely loved the time we spent here. Very close (1/4 mile?) To a free public beach that allows dogs on a leash. During our time the beach was rarely crowded. A few things about the site ( don't read into these as negative, just FYI) the water pressure is very high and you will need a good working regulator. The sewer connection is about 2.5 to 3 feet behind the area to park, so those of you with a mid to front location on your RV sewer output you may need 3 hoses. Our 2 hoses barely reached.

You can not beat this location. They were able to even accommodate our 28ft trailer as all rv parks in the area could not.

Sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico are hard to beat.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location and proximity to the beach are fantastic! It was nice having a good sized place for our two dogs to hang out and the neighbourhood felt very safe and friendly. The only thing we wish we knew about ahead of time was the house being built next door. Made for a lot of noise every day.

Weekend Trip to Magnolias by the Bay RV Site & Dock

This is a hidden gem!! The canopy of trees smells so nice and adds a cool, breezy shade when camping! The spot is very convenient, yet private and very well maintained. There's a bench for sipping coffee while looking at the ocean, a big hammock hanging in the trees and a firepit with plenty of chairs as well as a picnic table! Overall, a wonderful place...directly across from the water and the use of their private dock is a dream!!! Planning to stay longer next time!!!

We had a great time staying at Zoie's Moonrise site. Plenty of room for our 34ft camper and full size truck. The hookups were all very new and clean. Easy to level the Camper in the gravel site. The 2 best things, according to the dogs, were the pine needles on the front property area and the screen porch! No sand spurs on the property with the pine needles and the bugs weren't bad at all with the sea breeze. The short walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes and the boardwalk access was very nice and well kept. With 5 properties on the road it is very private with very little traffic. We will definitely return and 5 stars for our host Abbie with description and communication on every aspect of the stay. Thank you!

Unmatched location, you could hear the waves crashing, so close to the beach. Great spot with plenty of space to spread out. Great neighbors, both guests and full timers. Plenty to see and do just a short bike ride away. Highly recommend!

About

A trip to Port St. Joe means checking out the bay and gulf in one vacation. You get to double your pleasure and double your fun. Miles of white sand separate both bodies of water. Sugar-white sands serve sunbathers in the summertime. Swim in the water on the ocean side, and then snorkel in the bay to see aquatic life.

Two nature trails take you through high sand dunes. From atop the highest dune, you can see both the ocean and the bay. Birdwatchers enjoy nearly 250 species of migratory birds call this place home.

If you're really lucky, you might see some nesting sea turtles or the endangered St. Andrews beach mouse. Anglers can cast their lines for speckled trout, flounder, red drum, mullet, whiting, bluefish, and shark. Scallop season happens in late summer and early fall.

Campgrounds cater to tent campers among the dunes. Cabins face the bay. Please call ahead to see what kind of camping is available for your vacation.

St Joseph Bay Cabins

Hard to find an open weekend but we checked consistently and lucked out by snagging someone’s cancellation during rough weather. Cabins are great, very comfortable with several little spots to curl up. Kitchen is very serviceable. Little grocery store is well equipped.

Gulf Breeze Campground

My husband and I LOVE camping here. Dogs are allowed on the beach which is a major plus for us. You are somewhat close to your neighbors but we have never had a problem with noise. The bathrooms are pretty clean and easily accessible. You can be on the beach in an under 5 minute walk from virtually every campsite. The mosquitos get a little nasty if the wind dies down, but that is the only con!

Pros: Having easy access to power, clean toilets & HOT showers. Cons: They pack you in to the camping area like sardines & the fire ants are vicious! Wear proper shoes & bug repellant. Bring a fan, it's hot!
