We were just passing through for one night but this place was perfect for any length of stay. Quiet, with a nice sitting area, and a short walk to a great beach. The space was level, with easy access and hook-ups.
Our dogs loved it as much as we did. We promised to stay longer next time.
We highly recommend this spot!

This was our first time using Hipcamp, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. It’s well taken care of, quiet, and extremely private considering it’s right in the middle of multiple houses. Make sure if you have a 50 amp rig, carry your 30 to 50 amp adapter, we never leave without ours.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The lot offers a lot of privacy with the fence on 3 sides. Very short walk to the public beach access. This is our second stay in this neighborhood and we will definitely be coming back to this lot!

Great location one block from the water! Good site, easy to back in. Fenced in on 3 sides. Electric, water and sewer hook up connections all easy to access and close together. We love this spot and will keep returning!

Unmatched location, you could hear the waves crashing, so close to the beach. Great spot with plenty of space to spread out. Great neighbors, both guests and full timers. Plenty to see and do just a short bike ride away. Highly recommend!

The space was huge, and we loved the fence. Even though we only have a little dog, it was nice to not have to leash him and just let him sniff and do his biz (which we always clean up).
Loved the short walk to the beach and to the Shipwreck Raw Bar.
Also, it's so close to everything you need. There are plenty of options for food, and to grab needed items at the Dollar Store or the hardware store. Plus, just a short drive to Port St. Joe for more shopping and dining options.
The firepit is nice, but we just didn't have a chance to use it.
If ever in the area, we will hopefully be able to stay again.

We loved staying on Kelly’s site. If you prefer not to stay in a RV “parking lot”, right next to your neighbors, squished in like sardines… then this place is perfect! It was very quiet and the best thing was the location. Just one short block to walk to a beautiful stretch of white, sandy beach. Almost felt like our own private beach…not many people there at all. The sunsets were beautiful! The site is in between Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. Both just a short drive where you can find lots of fun shops and yummy restaurants.

This location was just lovely. Everything you need including water, sewer, electric and very private area. The site is large, they can accommodate big rigs. Rigs. Traveled in a class b. Van. Proximity to the beach. Maybe a 5-minute walk and the stars abound at night.

I loved camping at this location. First, I travel with my dog. So, the fenced in yard on three sides was nice. It was open and spacious. Plenty of space for larger RVs. Mine is a small teardrop and the lot could have held a much larger RV. The hookups were easy to use. and on the right side of the lot. So, you back your RV into the spot. Then, you have lots of space in front of your RV for set up of tents, TV, grill, etc. Now, let's talk about 'why' you would choose this spot. It is a very short walk to the beach. I made that walk three or four times a day. I went in November. So, the beach was empty and the weather perfect for both football and relaxing. Plus, Shipwreck Raw Bar is close if you want to eat out instead of grilling. I will definitely stay here again!

Private & So Close to the Beach

We love the beach & being able to stay so close to it in our RV with our pets & with privacy was awesome. Wonderful, spot. Crazily enough, this was our first time using all of the full hookup options, for we have been basically boon docking for a year, so you can imagine just how awesome it was to have all of those things accessible. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on our bicycles, pedaling to Shipwreck for a delicious lunch and even exploring the beautiful Veterans Park just a short distance away & best yet, having such close beach access within a short walking distance. At night, we used the fishing cleaning table as our cooking spot & then enjoyed our meals outside under the stars.
The only thing we have to complain about has nothing to do with our camp site, it was just so sad to be at the beach during a red tide. We’ve heard about them, but never experienced one first hand. We walked the beach on the days we were there, but did not get to swim or put our feet in the ocean, due to the abundance of dead fish and sea creatures floating and laying dead onshore. The town came by daily to rake them up, and on our last day, sadly there was enough to fill a dump truck. :(
We hope to return some day and get that ocean swim & this place would definitely be a repeat place to stay. Thanks for sharing your peace of beach life with us.

We had a great time camping on Kelly’s spot. We had our 3 grandsons and with 3 sides being fenced we didn’t have to worry about them getting out of the yard. It is on a quiet street with very little traffic. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach so if you have a lot of stuff be sure to bring a wagon to get it all over there. I was a little nervous about having to cross the busy highway with 3 kids but the drivers were very nice and usually stopped for us to get across. It was just what we needed. Only thing that would have been would nice would have been a picnic table or somewhere to sit and eat. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a great stay at this Hipcamp spot—just a block from the beach and super pet-friendly! Our dogs loved it, and we appreciated the little touches like provided poo bags. The site felt private and peaceful, with a hammock and fire pit (though we didn’t get a chance to use them this time). Full hook-ups and a level site made setup easy. Would definitely come back!

We had the best time camping! The site is clean, quite & private. Short distance to the beach. We didn't walk because it was hot out but you definitely could. We would for sure stay here again and you should to if you get the chance. One thing I wish we'd have done is bring a canopy...there is no shade otherwise. Not a problem but now we know for next time.

Loved the site, just a short walk to the bay. Quite and private with plenty of room. Camper was on nice grassy area. Definitely will book again! There is some loose sand you may have to maneuver around getting camper in and out. Also, no wifi, which was not a problem for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location! Very large yard and very private. The fence was so nice (on 3 sides) for our dogs. Nice, flat, grassy area for camper. Easy hookups. Easy in and out. Easy walk to the uncrowded beach. Hwy 98 can be a little difficult to cross during busy traffic times, but not a big deal. Close proximity to shipwreck restaurant and dollar general market that has everything you could need. Easy drive to downtown PSJ. Would recommend! Thanks for having us!

Perfect location! Steps from the beach. Close to both Mexico Beach and Historic Port St. Joe. Only 45 minutes from the State Park. The space was perfect & the full hook up was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend.

Pure Paradise! We enjoyed a full MONTH on "No Shoes Nation Beach Camp" in our travel trailer! The owner was very polite and responsive to all our questions and gave us good suggestions for the area! The full hookups all worked like new and we never had one issue during our stay. The property is beautiful and I could see the GULF from my camper slide-out front window! The area felt very safe and the few people passing by would always wave a greeting to us! It was just a short block to putting our feet in the white sand on St Joe Beach (very dog friendly)! We were sad to leave this tropical paradise and looking forward to a repeat stay here in 2026!

We spent almost 2 weeks in this slice of heaven for our 30th anniversary. Private lot, so much room, so close to the beach, just beautiful. Kelly was responsive to texts when we had a few questions about the area. Everything was perfect!!!
Port St Joe and Mexico Beach are amazing. Beautiful beaches, not too far to walk to get to the beach, easy access. Try the food trucks in the area, some were amazing.
