Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! As a family who has towed campers across the US a couple times utilizing Hip Camp we know others will appreciate the ease of pulling into our little 1 acre urban oasis just a couple miles off the interstate in Floridas Coolest City.
It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete as we are right between the beaches and downtown (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$10 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience"
We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo.
This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby.
There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed!
The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite!

Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away.
Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions.
We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet.
Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 26' in length.
Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.
We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.
Sorry, no tent camping is allowed.
There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard.
We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island.
We are LGBTQ friendly.
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe.
The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here.
Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each pet is $5. additional fee. There is an off leash park two blocks away. Most of the beaches are also pet friendly.

Our property is located in the Sailfish capital of the country in the heart of Historic Port Salerno/Stuart Florida. World class deep sea fishing, boating, and some of the finest seafood restaurants on the east coast are less a mile away. We’re just 5 miles from downtown Stuart on the Inland waterway that offers a lovely walkable downtown where you will find a theater, unique art studios, interesting and unique craft and clothing shops, and numerous restaurants offering everything from vegan and vegetarian options, to pizza, steak, and local seafood. If you’re looking for fast food franchises in the downtown areas, you’ll need to look elsewhere!
Only 11 miles from Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Daily excursions are available from the launch site to the infamousTrapper Nelson’s hideaway. A must do for adventurous types who appreciate legends and creative off grid living.
ABOUT US:
This Camp Site is on a 1/2 acre, owner occupied property and located in a beautiful, open, quiet neighborhood setting. It offers a natural walking path with several foot bridges around the lake. Our property has very easy accessibility to all major roads including interstate 95. Our camp sites provide a peaceful stay while still being close to all you seek. This location makes for a great stop over or destination spot.
Guests will wake in the morning to the lovely site and peaceful sounds of the mostly year round residents including pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers, vultures, raccoons, egrets, ibis, hawks, quaker parrots, herons, bluejays, grackles, crows, lizards, mourning doves, gray squirrels, owls, hawks, and occasional sightings of iguanas and turtles. Nights tend to be dark and quiet with minimal traffic noise. We are pet friendly provided your pet is too! Again, this is in a quiet, neighborhood type setting, just a bit off the beaten path. My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once!
GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group.
This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set.
Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach!
Salinas Park is just a stone's throw where you can enjoy picnics with the family walk out to the bay or even drive onto the beach (permit required).
The sleepy little towns of Port St. Joe and Appalachicola have so many great local restaurants and shops and you will love the laid back chill of these old Florida towns.
If you've never taken your crew and camped right on the beach, then this is the place for you. Completely private lot with only private houses around on a sandy road and your own private beach access. Enjoy your stay!

Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! We aren't fancy, but are clean, secure, and private. You can come and go as you please, and day-trip all over beautiful central Florida!

As a family who has towed campers across the US a couple times utilizing Hip Camp we know others will appreciate the ease of pulling into our little 1 acre urban oasis just a couple miles off the interstate in Floridas Coolest City.
It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete as we are right between the beaches and downtown (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$10 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience"
We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo.
This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby.
There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed!
The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite!

Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away.
Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions.
We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet.
Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 26' in length.
Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.
We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.
Sorry, no tent camping is allowed.
There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard.
We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island.
We are LGBTQ friendly.
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe.
The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here.

Our property is located in the Sailfish capital of the country in the heart of Historic Port Salerno/Stuart Florida. World class deep sea fishing, boating, and some of the finest seafood restaurants on the east coast are less a mile away. We’re just 5 miles from downtown Stuart on the Inland waterway that offers a lovely walkable downtown where you will find a theater, unique art studios, interesting and unique craft and clothing shops, and numerous restaurants offering everything from vegan and vegetarian options, to pizza, steak, and local seafood. If you’re looking for fast food franchises in the downtown areas, you’ll need to look elsewhere!
Only 11 miles from Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Daily excursions are available from the launch site to the infamousTrapper Nelson’s hideaway. A must do for adventurous types who appreciate legends and creative off grid living.
ABOUT US:
This Camp Site is on a 1/2 acre, owner occupied property and located in a beautiful, open, quiet neighborhood setting. It offers a natural walking path with several foot bridges around the lake. Our property has very easy accessibility to all major roads including interstate 95. Our camp sites provide a peaceful stay while still being close to all you seek. This location makes for a great stop over or destination spot.
Guests will wake in the morning to the lovely site and peaceful sounds of the mostly year round residents including pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers, vultures, raccoons, egrets, ibis, hawks, quaker parrots, herons, bluejays, grackles, crows, lizards, mourning doves, gray squirrels, owls, hawks, and occasional sightings of iguanas and turtles. Nights tend to be dark and quiet with minimal traffic noise. We are pet friendly provided your pet is too! Again, this is in a quiet, neighborhood type setting, just a bit off the beaten path. My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once!
GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group.
This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set.
Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach!
Salinas Park is just a stone's throw where you can enjoy picnics with the family walk out to the bay or even drive onto the beach (permit required).
The sleepy little towns of Port St. Joe and Appalachicola have so many great local restaurants and shops and you will love the laid back chill of these old Florida towns.
If you've never taken your crew and camped right on the beach, then this is the place for you. Completely private lot with only private houses around on a sandy road and your own private beach access. Enjoy your stay!

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this HipCamp is centrally located to all the sites. Anastasia State Park/Beach is just minutes away (biking to it is possible via a bike lane). The Castle and Old Saint Augustine is just minutes away. Robert met us with a welcome packet of maps and brochures to plan our stay. The site was level and very easy to back into. It checked off all our needs for a great stay in Saint Augustine.

A real working Equestrian farm. My wife and I loved the amazing horse's + donkeys and miniature horses. Grounds are well maintained. The restroom (functionable) hot water shower! Everyone super friendly. All the real farm smells and sounds. We were real lucky good weather all week (4 nights). Our first Hipcamp, will do it again! Let the adventures begin! And Thank You.

The owners were very responsive and helpful with some questions I had prior to arrival as well.. If we travel to the same area again, we would happily return to the Bay Getaway.

Loved our tent-stay here! The setup is neat because the horses have a fenced path around the perimeter so they walked right by our sight every evening. Our 8 and 10 year old girls loved that. The location is amazing because you get that camping vibe but super close to the beach and all the things Englewood/Manasota Key have to offer. We had the best camper neighbor one site over who made our stay SUPERB!! We felt like we belonged here! There is a bathroom with a shower which suited all of our needs but it is shared by all campers so we did try to be courteous and not take up too much time in it.

Safe and clean place to park for the night, with a very well-maintained driveway. There’s space to set up a folding chair on the grass and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the hens in the nearby enclosure. No rooster to wake you up too early :)
Communication with the host was fast and friendly. I stayed here with a converted van about 22 feet long and had no issues at all. Highly recommended for a safe, peaceful, and relaxing stop during your travels.
