Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.
Located less than 10 mins to Navarre Beach, - 30 mins to Pensacola Beach, - 15 mins to Naval Live Oaks, - 45 mins to Fort Pickens, - 50 mins to NAS Pensacola, - 45 mins to Santa Rosa Island, - 35 mins to Okaloosa Island, - 40 mins to Destin.
Recommended local restaurants: St. Michael's Brewery which has rotating food trucks and is family friendly, Ye Olde Brothers Brewery, Emerald's WaterfrontGrill, Dewey Destin’s, Andy D's on Navarre Beach, Stripe's Pub, Johnny Huston's, Windjammers, TC’s Front Porch, Deb’s Coffee, The Eatery food truck park, Top’s Burgers, and New York Pizza Depot.

But please know the camp sites are far from music stage, pavilion, and festival area, and the music is usually ONLY during the afternoons and over by 4pm, so the evenings are quiet.

You can see how the old orange groves worked as we haven't filled in all the furrows yet. The old orange Grove is now home to cattle, horses, goats, ducks, and our little family.

Bring your RV away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the wide open spaces of the country. The only sounds you'll hear are cows mooing, goats baaing, and horses neighing. Sunsets and the stars are a site to see out here.
THE PROPERTY:
The owners live on the property with their 2 children and are willing to be helpful in anyway. Children are more than welcome to tag along. Being kid friendly is a plus for us as our kids might be running around enjoying their property. Can't forget dog friendly either. Our dogs love to greet our guests.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
If beaches are on your agenda, South Causeway and Fort Pierce Inlet State Park are only 25 minutes from the beach! Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property.
ACTIVITIES:
We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch.
THE SPACE:
The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on.
Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area.
We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! We cant wait to share our property with you and hopefully you'll find our place as somewhere you'd love to return!

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by!

Park your van/small RV, pitch your tent, or stay in the Glamping Greenhouse on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. The nearest I-95 exit is just 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and (usually) firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! We loved the lot and proximity to the beach. The neighbors are close but not on top of you. The site was well maintained. Deck, shower & grill area seemed well kept, although we did not utilize the grills.
Definitely double check photos and specs if you have a bigger rig. We’re in a 40ft fifth wheel with a king cab truck, and although we made it in, and thankfully out, it would’ve been a nightmare had the neighbors not been gracious (and their fence open) and allowed us to pull into their driveway a bit. There are 3 palm trees that make pulling in/out for longer setups very tight.
Also make sure you decide your hookup situation & which way you will face before you go! I missed the note about the location of the hookups and we had to go grab another length of sewer pipe to make it work for us.
All in all a peaceful and enjoyable trip! 5/5 stars for anyone with a smaller rig!

My first hipcamp and it was way beyond my expectations. This place was lovely. We had a quite spot in the back among the trees and animals. Plenty of green grass and no fresh air. The gentlemen hosting were so helpful and made great suggestions. Electric and water right at site. Since no sewer there is a clean private restroom with shower just a few feet away. Beach, restaurants and grocery within 10 min drive. Will definitely come again.

We had a really relaxing stay at Laura's place. The campsite felt secluded and private, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Waking up to the cows ( Bessy, Nutmeg, Paprika, Doris and Thunder) nearby added so much charm and made the experience feel unique.
The kayaks were a nice touch and gave us another way to enjoy the property. Laura was a wonderful host—friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with while still giving us plenty of privacy.
If you're looking for a quiet place to disconnect, enjoy nature, and experience a little farm life, I would definitely recommend staying here. We'd happily come back again.

Another great afternoon at the pavilion. Good food, good music, big fans that moved plenty of air, just good all the way around. It's amazing how they can turn muscadine grapes into a fantastic beverage.
Camping was perfect. Spots were wide, long, level and well mowed. Very easy to back into, even for a poor backer-upper like me. Plenty of pull-throughs for easy access, and hookups available. This is an EXTREMELY quiet place to camp, no busy roads nearby, heard nothing but a few frogs.
A beautiful camper's patio extends over the canal, perfect for fishing. I forgot to bring any fishing gear; next time . . .
I can see why this is listed as a #1 place to camp in so many places. Fantastic pavilion for bands or events, well-stocked and friendly winery, plenty of room for car shows and gatherings. A great weekend retreat . As Arnold Schwarzenegger said: "I'll be back!" But next time, with a fishing pole.

We were able to pull in and catch the sunset. Beautiful private walkway to the beach. Felt like we were the only ones in our own little rv park while everyone else was in vacation homes. We absolutely LOVED it. Privacy. Beautiful star gazing, wonderful place. We usually visit each place once but this is a spot we will come back to for sure! Thank you!

With pets
It was very quiet, and there was a lovely pond with seating by it. The property was mowed and well kept. It felt safe. We saw a bunny and what I think was a short tailed weasel. No alligators though! The small Flying Frog sign confirmed that the address was correct.
