We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, then rent one of the Byrd Scooters available all over the city. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to a 28' trailer and vehicle.

What a gem! Great central location for all that you want to get out and do. And then return to a quiet, private location to relax. Eric welcomed us upon arrival and was very communicative during our entire stay. His knowledge of the area was impressive!! Our day trip on The Wild (pink boat) to and around Destin (Crab Island) and Fort Walton (private island) was so much fun!! Dinner (twice) at Clemenza’s at Uptown was delish!!! We beached at Beasley Park and biked the neighborhood. Don’t second guess it, book the trip!!

Nothing but good things to say about this spot! Eric is fantastic! Pad was easy to get into, and its pretty much right on the water! The location is bikeable to everything as well which made it very convenient for us! I saw a review about the dock not being accessible, that is not the case. Dock is well maintained and a great little perk! We have dogs as well and while we keep our dogs leashed, we did allow our lab some off leash time to swim, and there were no issues. Will 100% stay at this location again next time we head down there!

It was a wonderful stay at Eric's. It's very well located, right on the water. Eric was very friendly and helpful. I can recommend the campground to everyone. It's also only 6 minutes from the beautiful beach.

We loved this spot! Eric’s communication was prompt, it’s a beautiful area & it was quiet. We had a blast on the dock fishing and watching animals. We definitely plan to come back and stay longer!! We appreciate Eric and his wife for allowing a space like this to be available! It’s perfect!

Eric’s spot was just as described. It was easy to pull in and out with our trailer and get fully hooked up. The site was very level. We loved having full hook ups for those post-beach showers! Eric helped us back into the spot, gave us a quick lay of the land, and offered dining recommendations. The little sitting area with Adirondack chairs was a comfortable spot to enjoy the gulf breeze as the sun set. We highly recommend and hope to be back!

This is a great spot, we really enjoyed it..!! It is very level and spacious, with a view of the water and boat landing. Perfect for accessing Destin and water sports, a Publix nearby and restaurants. We plan to return. Thanks to Eric for sharing the property, he was very detailed and attentive and shared many tips about the area. Be sure to ask about his boat and jet ski trips....

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Eric and his hospitality. He had the site set up for us with Adirondack chairs, umbrella, fire pit, and a small table when we arrived. His communication with us was great prior to our arrival and all throughout our stay. The spot is very clean and is nicely set up with water, 30 amp, and sewer. Eric took us on a 3-hour boat trip all around the area on his restored pink boat which was the highlight of our trip. We slept with the doors open on our Class B, and felt completely safe in the area which was quiet and peaceful. The dock has been refurbished and is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved getting to explore Fort Walton Beach on Eric’s recommendations.

Mixed emotions rating because the pictures are deceiving. When I look at the pictures of the dock especially there is a lot of grass, but we were asked not to recreate or allow our dog on the grass near the camper as it is not part of the owners property. The dock was also a large drawing point but it was in disrepair as well so not usable as the ad states. It is a decent fairly level spot to park if you are just looking for that. We did find a lot close by to do, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming, even got us a bundle of fire wood for our arrival.

We stayed on Eric’s property. It was very convenient and easy to find. Great location, right at a boat launch and a short drive from beaches and boardwalk. I would recommend staying there for anyone wanting to stay at that area.

Beautiful spot, great location! Change of plans because of the Hurricane and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The dogs couldn’t be happier to swim with us in front of our spot. Eric helped us parked and was a great host. We also booked a charter to Crab Island with him and it was totally worth it! Thanks Eric for your hospitality, we had a great time & thinking of coming back another time.

Perfect location!! Parking and spot was great. Quiet. We loved that is was close to everything but far away enough from the chaos of Destin traffic. Great close location to multiple beaches, cute downtown area and small dog beach. Stellar calm spot for paddle boarding or kayaking right there. Boat ramp was not a bother at all and quiet all night. Host was helpful and gave privacy. Caught big catfish at night. Great fun!! We would book again!

Eric was a great host! Very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful scenery. The charter to Crab Island was fantastic! Eric was helpful with local restaurants and things to do around town. We will definitely be back to stay and will refer to friends!

Booked a last minute Memorial Day weekend stay. Eric reached out immediately and was very communicative about what to expect and how to connect if we had any questions. He was available when we arrived, answered some logistical questions regarding traffic, restaurants , etc. He offered us bikes and use of the dock, and asked if we needed anything. The spot and setup were great; we were right by the boat dock, and enjoyed watching the activity. We even had a great view of the Memorial Day fireworks! Neighborhood was quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again!

I loved camping on Eric’s property. The water views were relaxing. The area where we camped felt pretty private. Full hook up as advertised, for a self contained camper. Just feet away from a boat ramp where you can launch your kayaks and explore the shoreline. The location is near a beautiful beach, and a nice shopping area. The neighborhood is pretty. A handout sheet with info about local restaurants would be nice. There was no wifi, so we couldn’t research that easily.

The location is everything! It’s an easy walk to the downtown area and an easy drive to Destin or beaches. Eric was easy to communicate with and the spot is great. Would come back in a second!

Eric's place was awesome, I highly recommend especially if you have a small boat or jet ski with you. Eric was really great, very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again next time we are in town.

This was such a perfect location! The property was beautiful and the neighbors were very kind. The set up and parking pad were convenient and easy accessibility. The owner and home care taker were easy to contact and quick to reply. We would love to visit again another time in the year, so this will be a repeat spot for us.

Great quiet stay with full hookups in the Brooks St part of FWB. One of our friends had a successful catch in the peaceful water behind the pad. Groceries and other necessities are very nearby.
