slept there for 3 nights, very quiet. Backed in so we had view of neighbors pond
Stephen is super nice and the site is easy to get in and out. We stayed 3 nights. It was nice and quiet. We liked the patio and the picnic table and everything was nice and clean. Wifi worked great. The dump station was a bit of a challenge as it sits high so a bit difficult but doable. We appreciated the full hook up. Would stay again.
Stephen was a great host. Perfect place for us to stop, rest, & recharge before continuing our journey! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

Stephen’s site was quiet and safe and not far from St. Augustine. Enjoyed watching the turkeys and other birds on the neighbors property. Stephen was helpful and friendly, when we had a question and needed to speak to him, even though he was out of town.

It was easy to get to the spot. It had electric and water hook ups. Was an easy drive to St. Augustine, Anastasia State Park for the beach, and an easy drive to a bike trail. Very quiet at night. And Steve was a very kind and helpful host.

Love how private it was. My family enjoyed the camp fire and easy time.
Stephen was so kind and was out on the street greeting us as we drove in to make sure we made it safely. Very communicative host.

Bait and switch misrepresentation!!

This was a bait and switch listing. Pictures posted by host for the site we expected turned out to be another site used by himself. When we arrived we called to ask why we didn’t have the site pictured. He replied he gave us an upgrade which was directly behind his house. The site was terrible and we had to back out of backyard to leave. I messaged the host who was out of town to let him know we were leaving because of the bait and switch and requested refund for misrepresenting his camp spot. He has not returned my message after multiple try’s. Definitely not big rig friendly. We are hosts and campers and would never to this to our guests. Beware!! I would give a 0 if I could.

Unfortunately I would not recommend Stephen’s Hipcamp. On our way there he messaged me saying he had upgraded our site to one behind his home. While we were grateful, when we arrived we were dismayed to find the sewer was 18” off the ground (set up for his 5th wheel obviously) and we were towing a travel trailer. Also the water and electric were on the wrong side where we had to run utilities under our RV. There was no mention of this anywhere. The space was very sandy with decomposing leaves and branches that tracked throughout our camper.
If these type of things don’t bother you, then I’m sure Stephen’s place would be good. But it just wasn’t for us.

As a return camper I will come back again! A quick drive to downtown St. Augustine, lots of restaurants and stores close by. Stephen is very easy to talk to, great communication. The campsite is quiet and surrounded by trees for a great night sleep. Plus my dog loved the yard😊

There are 2 sites and the one that he put us in was not the one pictured…it was right behind the house…difficult to get in and out. There is some sort of shoot range very close. Not good for dogs or disabled vets with PTSD. Sent a message to Stephen letting him know our concerns and no response! We left and didn’t stay one single day…no refund offered. Would not recommend!
Corner key was a nice place to stay while we were passing through St.Augustine. It is a nice and quiet, well maintained with nice landscaping. We enjoyed meeting up down town with the family and exploring. Then getting away from the hustle and bustle to this tranquil hideaway.

A perfect spot for our stay and visiting St Augustine and Jacksonville. Our 42 foot 5th wheel fit perfect with great full hook ups. A very peaceful and secluded sight. Would stay again when in the area.
Stephen has a very peaceful and tranquil camp set up. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and he was a most pleasant host. I would definitely recommend as it is very close to many things to explore.

Such a great space with quiet and serene surroundings. Nice and private but close to Historic Downtown and everything you might want to do in St. Augustine. Plenty of room for our dog to run around and a great fire pit to enjoy in the evening. Stephen was fantastic! We were very very late and he still came out to meet us and help us get settled. We will absolutely be back to stay for our next visit!!

Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our one night stay, Had a little trouble finding the correct driveway but called and Stephen was very helpful! Even let us stay a little past check out time so we could enjoy a morning tour of St Augustine.
