Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. We are 30-45 minutes from Jacksonville, birthplace of the Blue Angels, and 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, the nation's oldest continuously occupied city. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. This was our first Hipcamp experience and the bar has been set pretty high. The location is so beautiful between the water, the huge oaks and the wildlife. It is a nature-lover, fishermen or birdwatchers paradise. It was great that our dogs could safely roam. Surprisingly quiet on and off water and friendly neighbors. Great place to kayak (2 kayaks and canoe also provided) Grocery store / gas station about 15-20 mins away if needed for forgotten necessities, drinking water etc. We had a little trouble backing out our 21 foot trailer when leaving but are also new to hauling a trailer. Would definitely return!

We booked the one "partial hookup" site with water and 50/30A. Parking was easy and not more than 100 feet from the river, with a gentle sand slope and easy entry for swimming. We swam in the evening and the morning. The water was cool but not cold. There was a little more than a gentle current, being summer, and being a natural river there were places that were more difficult with branches and steeper banks, but the main swimming spot was really nice. We had the whole property to ourselves. The owner was very responsive by text. T-Mobile connection was strong, even for streaming.

Blackwater Ranch is a real gem of a property. Lots of activities, plenty of space, and tons of easy access to the river, which is the star of the show. One of the unique features of rivers in this area is their white sand beaches and Blackwater Ranch has some of the best I've seen. The river was low when I visited (drought) but I can tell that even when full it is a fairly shallow and slow moving river with multiple spots that stay shallow due to the way the water deposits sand, making it a great river for younger kids. Even the bugs weren't too bad, which being summer in FL/GA was a welcome surprise. The property is equipped with the necessities for a comfortable experience (water, electricity, pit toilet) but still very primitive and rustic. I camped one night solo but will certainly be back with a group of friends!

So quiet and peaceful. We had to be in Jacksonville for multiple meetings and needed to extend our stay twice. Easy booking, fast feedback and privacy. Host was available but not intrusive, he responded quickly when we needed anything. Area was clean, paddleboat available to float around the pond. Conveniently located close enough to town with that out of town feel. We will stay again if we come back to the area.

Vegetable gardens to share, a whole kitchen, washer and dryer, hot tub, games, outdoor shower, and so much more. It’s gated so the kids could run and play safely with lots of places to play hide and seek. Glamping at its best!

Perfect location, Mayo Clinic is only 15 minutes away and even closer to the beach. Lots of shopping and restaurants just down the street. The spacious lot is shaded and private despite being close to a fairly busy road at times. Our dog had plenty of room to stretch her legs with the fenced in lot. Chrissy is a very gracious and welcoming host making us feel like part of the family.

If you want a real deal Florida natural vacation, this is exactly where you want to be. Immaculately clean with a huge paved parking / hang out area plus a lush grassy lawn. Easy in and out for our truck and travel trailer. The host was perfect. Helpful whenever needed but not overly involved. Having access to our own dock, a fenced yard for our pup and the stunning views of sky and water surrounding us made for an ideal vacation.

Right on the ocean, this 450-acre park has everything you may be looking for. Plan a day to relax on the pristine beach or fish and canoe on the freshwater pond. A small splash park is open in the summer months, and pavilions are available for rental. Hanna Park has over 20 miles of scenic trails that provide opportunities for hiking and biking along the shorelines or within the mature coastal hammock with majestic oaks. The separate off-road single-track mountain bike trails are well-known in the biking community and range from easy (wide corridors, flat, fun for the entire family to enjoy) to difficult (often steep, including log crossings, for the hardcore mountain bikers). RV, cabin and tent camping are available, as well as primitive and group camping. Wildlife includes shorebirds, wading birds, alligators, and foxes. Sea turtle nesting is May through October.
