This was my first time camping and I'm likely never going to be able to handle the typical roughing-it, rugged camping that I envisioned when I decided I was going to try it. This place is gorgeous. Everything is so well built and so well maintained. I think it was the second-best shower I've ever experienced. (I feel pretentious naming the first but I think it's relevant to explain how good this shower is. Number one is the JW Marriott in Dubai.) Rainfall showerhead, the body sprayer thing, amazing water pressure, warm water, shampoo and conditioner, and fully stocked bodywash dispenser. Separate changing room. Comfy and beautiful outhouse with a lounging chair, washer, dryer, air conditioner, and toilet stall with closing door. The shower and bathroom are located just steps from this spot and just a little bit further from the site with the hot tub. Screened gazebo to keep the bugs out: - ceiling fan to keep it cool and the air circulating - small television with Roku - mini fridge There are chairs and lounge chairs around a fire pit, beautiful views on the river, small garden area for horseshoes and cornhole. This was paradise; so quiet and secluded. Will be back for sure to practice my camping. Also Wi-Fi, but the signal was intermittent.

We had the best experience here! The tent cabin was cozy and comfortable, while the space still provided a camping experience. Just the right amount of amenities and comforts while still being in nature. The kayak tour was a very easy, laid back self-guided tour where you go with the current and can take in the sites. A friendly cat buddied up to us on our stay too- added bonus. And the farm store has some very tasty honey. We definitely recommend this experience.

The site was lovely and so clean. We were practically the only ones there (hello camping in South Carolina in mid July 🥵), so the kids had the run of the place, and they loved the freshly painted playground and super clean and WARM pool. I DID see laundry there around site 5, unsure of that is available to everyone but that was a feature that is unlisted in the description. The kids asked if we would be back, and if I was ever in the area again, I totally would. So many amenities we couldn’t even use because we weren’t there long enough.

Was an amazing spot , highly recommend . So peaceful ,relaxing and beautiful . I feel in love with the cabin.. the perfect creepy old fram house. Truly feels like you walk into the past its amazing it was great to know we had a shower amd bathroom. To know that theirs a refrigerator , stove all in working order the coffee maker with everything you need for the perfect 1st morning cup and have access to all of that while camping Micheal was great. He stopped over one day he got to speak with wife. He shared the history of the property and his vision and plans for the campground . It was the perfect blend of small town convenience 10 to 15 minutes drive to most things. Stores ,gas stations, restaurants fast food with having the county getaway . Feeling like your miles and miles away from everything . My wife is already asking for us to go back when the weather cools down. T

Beautiful area. Ian is a super host and has knowledge of surrounding areas including the river. The river is a short walk from camp and is refreshing on these hot days. We will be coming back every chance we get.

Amazing time! Very many cute animals that we could get very up close with. Well kept camp sites and a smooth easy check in. We only stayed 1 night passing through but will definitely be back again for a longer stay!

We loved having a hot tub at this place! We got there too late and we should have stayed 2 nights at least! We loved it and we got a great 30 minutes of hot tub time! We live in Charleston and it was nice to stay an hour outside of town on the last night of our trip! The bathroom, shower, washer/dryer was awesome!

1 night at Camping in the Heart of the Winery

The site we were in (site 8) had a nice view of the vineyard out one site and a field of what looked like soybeans out the other. There were several sites parallel to ours with similar views (including of each other). There are other sites scattered around the property that have less pleasant views. The hookups worked well, although the box with the circuit breaker was locked, so we had to plug in to a live outlet. We always use a good quality surge protector, so connected that first. The owners are slowly making improvements, such as adding more artificial turf over the ground, so you are not camping on dirt. The ground is lumpy, even with the artificial turf, so I would not recommend this for tent camping. For a one-night stop convenient to I-95 while enroute on a trip, this was a fine place to camp. We even had time to experience the wine tasting. We were served small portions of about 10 or 12 different wines. They make a red and a white, then the other wines are made by adding fruit purees. I was surprised by how nice the wines were.
