We are a family-friendly campground with a focus on keeping things natural and creating space to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors. Set on 63+ peaceful acres, Outside Inn Campground offers a unique farm camping experience with 28 full hook-up RV sites, 2 glamping accommodations, and nearly 2 miles of wooded walking trails to explore. Enjoy an afternoon with our friendly farm animals, a stroll through the woods, star gazing at night, and fellowship with family and friends. Our growing farm is home to Highland cow, goats, pigs, a donkey, rabbits, and chickens, giving guests a chance to experience farm life up close. Our pull-in/back-out RV sites are a great fit for small motorhomes, van-life campers, and truck campers who want a little more personality than a standard open lot. These sites are nestled among mature trees — the kind of natural shade and privacy you don’t get at most campgrounds. Pull straight in, hook up, and let the woods do what they do. Full hookups with 50/30 amp power, water, and sewer mean you're not roughing it, just enjoying it. One thing worth knowing: because these sites are surrounded by trees, you'll back out when it's time to leave rather than pull through. It's a different flow than a traditional site, but if you're in a smaller rig, it's honestly not a big deal — and the setting more than makes up for it.

The tent is equipped with a radiator and heated blankets for winter, plus portable AC and a dehumidifier for summer—but it's still a canvas tent, so temperatures inside will shift with the weather. Think cozy, not climate-controlled. If you want the adventure of tent camping with a real bed and a private hot tub waiting outside, you're in the right place. Your front porch welcomes you in, while the rear private patio deck overlooks the forest—perfect for morning coffee or watching the woods wake up. A lighted trail leads from your designated parking spot to the tent, giving you that hike-in camping feel without the hassle. We took a vintage RV and turned it into the kind of place you'd actually want to stay—cute, cozy, and completely renovated with all the comforts of home. Perched with views of the farm, this camper is perfect for families or small groups looking to disconnect without sacrificing the convenience of a real kitchen and bathroom. Plus, it's fully air-conditioned for hot summer days and has a furnace to keep you cozy during cooler nights. Step inside to find a fully equipped kitchen (yes, a real oven), a living and dining area with a Roku TV for those rainy afternoons, and sleeping for up to five. The main bedroom has a full-size bed with a comfy mattress, while the bunk room features triple stacked bunks—perfect for kids or adventurous adults who don't mind climbing. The full bathroom means no midnight walks to the bathhouse, and the tankless hot water heater means you won't run out mid-shower. With both air conditioning and heat, you'll stay comfortable no matter the season, and outside, your private fire pit and front deck offer front-row seats to farm life—watch the animals wander, sip your morning coffee, and settle in. Although I prefer private spots and not RV parks, this spot was pretty nice! An RV park but not ahuge one with 8 jillion people everywhere, this was limited, pretty spacious and well laid out. The farm area was fantastic and very kid friendly with all different kinds of animals. Well set off of the road but easily accessable. Easy hookups, adequate garbage disposal, easy to navigate in and out. The back roads are bike friendly if you plan on riding. All in all a nice place to take the family or in my case just relax.

Camping in a Peaceful spot, under the stars, critters to feed, walk along side and pet, awesome shower and bathroom facilities, knowledgeable hosts and personnel, playground for the littles, walking trails, easy in and out, new fire rings, cute camp store. We had a great weekend get away. Obvious to us - many stay longer to enjoy the amenities of this location. The farm animals are a delight. We had our 3 GRANDchildren with us - all under 3 years of age. The goats, bunnies, chickens, fresh eggs, donkey, cows, pigs and water fowl were a delight to feed and touch some. The staff were great about sharing their knowledge. We have all agreed to return.

Bring your boots because farms can be muddy! The animals on the farm are well cared for, more like pets and family. It is South Carolina swamp area so be prepared. Plenty of area for fun for the kiddos. The guide was very well constructed. The trails were great, I just wish there was about 7 miles of them. If you forget milk and such, Dollar General or Food Lion is just down the road. The cleanliness was perfect for me (the microbiologist)! The accommodations were a little tight. All in all I would highly recommend this site to others!

This was our third time staying at Outside Inn. We love this campground so much. We stay on our way to & from Florida every winter from Virginia. We stayed for Christmas this time. It’s one if not our favorite place to stay. It’s always so clean & quiet. Very peaceful & everyone is super nice, welcoming & helpful. The animals are the sweetest & it just has that warm, farm life vibe. We look forward to staying again next winter.

Lovely little campground with a nice walking trail, clean restrooms and laundry. We spent one day at Santee State Park and another at Congeree National Forest which were within 40 minutes. The animals are clean, well cared for and a delight to meet.

My favorite campground to date. They were super accommodating when I asked to check in early. The camper I stayed in was spot on with the holiday decor, cleanliness and layout. Being able to look out the windows or stand on the deck to say good morning to my favorite little friend, Batman, was phenomenal. I got to help Macy with some feeding and poop scooping! She was great at answering ALL my questions and telling me some of their farm history and stories in such a way that was natural, casual and especially fun. Impressive all around. The combination of an easy-going and inviting atmosphere with professional standards is perfection.

My kids loved the camper and the farm and had a great time. Fun board games available in the camper and there is a nice hiking trail we walked on during the day. My daughter loved to feed the animals and both kids enjoyed the playground. We made a campfire both nights we were there. Highly recommend and hope to be back in the future.

I was the only one there camping in a tent. I felt very comfortable and safe and it was nice to have an outlet to charge my laptop. I had an amazing stay while I was there. The staff was so nice and helpful.. The farm was in beautiful condition. The animals looked happy and I loved waking up to the roosters Crow in the morning. The hiking trails were a pleasant surprise to have. They’re very well maintained. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. I got the bottle feed the baby goats in the morning and that was so much fun. They were so cute. There is a Dollar General right down the road if you need anything. I will be back I highly recommend..

The camper I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Clair gave fabulous instructions for everything I could possibly need to know. Then the good part….spending time around the animals, the stargazing, and the quiet (other than the expected moo, quack, baa or cockadoodledoo) were all wonderful!

What a sweet place to visit! Already planning our next trip there. Lovely, family-friendly spot. Great trails to meander on their property. So fun to see the animals and experience farm life in a laid back, well-run campground. Your only regret will be having to leave.

Exceeded expectations! Really appreciated the super nice and clean bathrooms & showers, plus laundry room (which we didn’t use). The animals were all curious and friendly. Even tho all spots were full, it was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Outside Inn & already can’t wait to come stay again. We stayed on our way to & from Florida. The campground was very clean & quiet. We loved meeting all the animals - Fred the highland cow is our favorite! He’s awesome. The fresh eggs in the morning were delicious & just such a nice treat. Clair is a lovely host & made sure we had what we needed. The bathrooms & shower house was spotless. The directions to the campground are very clear. This is the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell anyone about because you want to keep for yourself. Wonderful place. Can’t wait to come back.

This was not my typical Hipcamp experience. It is a campground not a single rv spot. It seems the owners expanded into many sites. They are nice sites, good power, water and sewer. We had a pleasant stay.

Farm View Pull-Thru Buddy Site - FHU - 50ft
We had a lovely adventure at Outside Inn camp. The onsite trailer gave us all the comforts of a hotel, but with the outdoorsy adventure of a campground. The little camper had all of the basics and was enough to accommodate all 5 of us quite comfortably. The farm animals and fresh eggs were a treat and my elementary schooler couldn't get enough time outdoors!

Another great stay at this campground. Always friendly, always quiet. This latest experience was under duress as we evacuated back and forth from the hurricane weather in Florida and North Carolina. We came in exhausted and stressed. We were able to unwind in peace and walk our dogs along the trails. We are grateful to have a great mid way stopping point in this campground
