Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. My favorite campground to date. They were super accommodating when I asked to check in early. The camper I stayed in was spot on with the holiday decor, cleanliness and layout. Being able to look out the windows or stand on the deck to say good morning to my favorite little friend, Batman, was phenomenal. I got to help Macy with some feeding and poop scooping! She was great at answering ALL my questions and telling me some of their farm history and stories in such a way that was natural, casual and especially fun. Impressive all around. The combination of an easy-going and inviting atmosphere with professional standards is perfection.

4 nights at Hiker's Haven

It is impossible to state how lovely this location and hosts are! Every accommodation and possible need was sumptiuously met. The room had a plush sense of comfort and a thoughtful design for utility. It is a perfect location for endless hiking and historical adventures, and the town of Pickens is adorable yet also full of every necessary type of shop or eatery. The property is impeccable and peaceful. The hosts clearly love their home, town and nature. They were deeply kind and were a wealth of information about area hikes and destinations!

Weekend Trip to Camp at The Farm - Outside Inn

My kids loved the camper and the farm and had a great time. Fun board games available in the camper and there is a nice hiking trail we walked on during the day. My daughter loved to feed the animals and both kids enjoyed the playground. We made a campfire both nights we were there. Highly recommend and hope to be back in the future.

Weekend Trip to Forest & Farm Camping Retreat

The cozy cabin on wheels was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving weekend camping trip with my son and dog. The cabinet itself was adorable and you could tell a lot of thought was put into the amenities. Even though it froze while we were there, we were snug as a bug in our little cabin. I loved that my dog could be off leash and play with the host’s dog and cat as well. Although the house was not far, we felt we had all the privacy we needed. Our host was just a message away from answering any questions we may have had and gave lots of local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Our stay here was wonderful! The land is absolutely gorgeous, the cabin is well stocked with almost everything you need, and Katie and her husband are just so pleasant and kind! My boys loved meeting the animals, kayaking on the pond, and telling stories around the fire! We would love to come out again sometime for a longer period of time! Highly recommend!!

My tent camping trip got rained out, so I was very thankful to book Katie’s cabin. It was peaceful and lovely (and dry!!) with all I needed for my stay there. Even with the nonstop rain, it was enjoyable! Would definitely book again.

Weekend Trip to River Island Venture Resort

1st time camping here and it was wonderful. Staff is extremely attentive and nice. Very laid back and unstressful which is really what your looking for on a weekend getaway to recharge from the day to day. The glamping tent we booked was extremely clean and comfortable overlooking the river making it very tranquil. If you bring children, the site has a myriad of events and activities to keep them busy and having fun. The whole facility is extremely well kept and a lot of thought and effort was put in to create the appropriate holiday theme of the season (we were there late Oct and it looked fabulous). We are definitely going to book another stay there especially with all the warm weather activities they have like kayaking and tubing. We might consider one of thier more excluded camping sites that they offer. Very much recommend checking it out whether old or young.

Weekend Trip to Field Trip Glamping Travelers Rest

Absolutely FABULOUS getaway. The facilities are beautiful- clean, warm, and welcoming. Leaves you feeling like a home away from home. We were only there for one night- but we didn’t want to leave. We had our own campfire right outside the tent. If you forgot anything - no worries! The camp store had everything you could possibly need. We will most definitely be back.

This was a delightful glamping experience. The tents are clean and the beds while firm were comfortable. Everything is well maintained. We spent some time in the sauna, w much was nice. There is a little shop adjacent to the common area which has additional supplies and foodstuffs if needed. Great getaway for a weekend or a trip to the woods.

Second time visiting with my Dalmation. Katie and hubby super hosts. Cabin is very well done for a small space. The live edge cabinetry is superb. BRIAN (DALMATION) LOVES BEING OFF LEASH! If you need your modern accouterments, we'll, there is none. Truly a place of tranquility. Horses at a section of pasture are cute "bring carrots " will be back when it is time to unwind again!

2 nights at Private Oasis In The Forest

The property was really a great location for our group that were overall new to camping with amenities nearby to pickup groceries or go to a diner when needed! We really enjoyed taking turns on the row boat, and playing card games and monopoly in the cabin area at night. The campsite felt really private, but there was some barking from dogs nearby at night, and sometimes gunshots. Alex, the owner, was very responsive and helpful in finding local activities and resolving any issues we had during the stay!

The cabin is on a beautiful piece of land which is very secluded. The beds (full size and bunks) were comfortable and the air conditioner kept the cabin cool at night. It was the perfect little place for us.
