First time camping for 3 year old!
This was a perfect first camping experience for our 3 year old grandson. Very private campsite, nice outdoor shower, and flush toilet! Bell tent was comfortable, and includes A/C and TV (with spotty service). Good seating around campfire ring. Huntington Beach State Park was 20 minutes away. Beautiful ocean beach, playground area, and public restrooms.

The flush toilets and shower are great to have! Better signage would help. Hosts are welcoming. Camping area is new and could use more organization, but amenities are nice.

The space was nice and a very cute set up. Loved the shower. Unfortunately the service was too sporadic even with our Verizon jet pack, so we had to leave early. Dang work! Loved the sweet goats too

Goats are a hit with my 2 kids!
The highlight of the year for me and my kids (9 and 8). We stayed in the yurt. Made s’mores by the fire. Lounged in the hammocks. Fell asleep to the sound of the whipperwhills… the kids especially loved playing/ feeding the animals. The goats are a riot. And the bunnies and chickens too. We even found an egg in the coop and ate it for breakfast. A perfect experience. My daughter is generally an anxious camper but this site had all the comforts of home and she just loved it. Will recommend to all my friends!

Kidogo rocks!
We were so happy and lucky to find this amazing place to stay! The family is so kind and hospitable and patient despite the misadventures we unfortunately had, getting stuck in the mud! I hope we can come back to stay again and wish them only the best!

Private Glamping Hideaway
If you're looking for a hassle-free outdoors experience, you've found the place! Tucked away on Kidogo Farms is a private bell tent with all the amenities you could ask for. A seated area near the firepit, outdoor table, propane AND charcoal grills (with all the utensils), hammocks, a heated outdoor shower, A/C, heating, a TV, Wifi, a refrigerator, coffee maker, I could seriously go on. I was beyond comfortable throughout my evening. The lighting in the tent was great for when I was done with the campfire outside. I was bummed to leave! Wish I stayed another night.

Awesome yurt
Overall a good stay as long as we stayed by the yurt. The bathroom and shower area were awesome. The only negative thing I’d say and I know it’s a work in progress but the land where the trail is had too much trash and debris on it to walk around or even walk our dogs that being said once that’s cleaned up I wouldn’t mind going back. AND they also have Wi-Fi and my kid was entertained the entire time. So the good deff outweighed the bad.

This was our first time Glamping and our first family vacation as a family of 4. Our kids are 4 and 2. We also brought our dog. It was such an amazing time for all of us. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. It has all the amenities you need for Glamping but still getting the camping feel. We loved using the outdoor shower, making a fire, having a mini fridge for cold food, and waking up to the roosters and being able to lay in bed and watch a movie with the kids on the tv. The owners are im the process of building a farm so it’s great to walk the property and see all the hard work and love they put into this place. It was hard to leave but we will be back! Highly recommend this place!

This campsite is as described. The property is rural and very private. The hosts were very helpful and even welcomed us with our later than planned arrival.

We had a wonderful stay! The tent was clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. However, the shower was possibly my favorite part! We stayed during a storm and tent stayed dry and the sound of the rain was so calming. We will definitely be back!

Glamping in serenity!
This place was absolutely awesome! I was looking for a place to stay near a beach and we made it to pawleys island In 20 minutes. You haven’t truly lived untill you experience the shower here! My kids had a great time and even got to hold some baby bunnies and loved the chickens. Will definitely be coming back as this is going to be a go to spot for us now!

Worth every minute!
The ac in the tent is amazing for people who run hot like me, plus the outdoor shower is an experience you don't want to miss! The tent is way bigger inside than I expected and the wifi and TV made it feel like home. Me and my husband spent 1 night here and wished we could stay longer. Definitely recommend for couples and kids

This place was SO COOL!! The yurt was super comfy and had anything you could need (AC, heater, TV, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, electricity) The location was removed from the rest of the property and has a cute little path with lights leading up to the yurt. We felt like we were in our own little world :) We only stayed one night so didn’t use the outdoor shower but it looked really cool! There was a bathroom with flushable toilet and sink near the pathway too. I’ve done a lot of old fashioned camping and this was my first “Glamping” experience. It far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were extremely kind with a flair for southern hospitality. They let us and our 3 dogs stay (one is a service animal) Highly recommend you check this place out.

Black River Retreat
Best sunsets in the land!
We absolutely loved the Black River Retreat! Gorgeous view of the river that included a fire pit, chairs, a dock, and a flat plot of land. The bathroom and showers were only a small jaunt away from the campsite and included everything we needed. Our hosts were super nice and accommodating in every way. We would for sure stay here again and truly loved our stay!

My family and I had a quick stay here but it was a wonderful experience! Very clean camp and the hosts were super welcoming upon arrival. The a/c unit was a huge bonus for a hot summer night. I would 100% recommend a stay here if you get the chance.

A wonderful weekend stay.
Wonderful. Our family loved our time at Kamp Kidogo. This was our first time "glamping". We're low-maintenance campers and are so used to arriving and getting to work setting up our own tents, tarps, etc. I gotta say it was lovely to walk into our nicely secluded campsite and realize that there was absolutely no "setting up" required. The site had everything we could possibly want/need, and more! The accommodations were excellent but the best part of our experience was the people. We enjoyed connecting with the owners at Kidogo. They were warm and welcoming and it all felt like "home" from the moment we arrived. We'll be back soon!

Glamping at its finest
Literally the VERY best experience as first time campers. My boys didn’t want to leave and we surely plan to go back!! Everything was provided, we packed stuff we didn’t even use bc it was already at our camp site. We enjoyed both nights we stayed, my boys particularly loved being in a small community where they could roam free, chase chickens at dusk, and help in the garden each day! Me - the outdoor shower was my favorite, it was well made and had hot running water for us!! We had a cute customized welcome sign at the camp too with our names on it at the top of our trail, which had the cutest string lighting to guide us at night time! WiFi was provided and our site was private from the rest of the farm which was also very amazing!! Glamping at its finest which was exactly what we needed as first timers!! Everyone there was VERY friendly and welcoming
