Would tent again!
I had the pleasure of staying on Davids property for the night. I came to SC for a day music festival. I picked spot 1 which was nice and flat for my tent. There were a few RVs pulled in but no issues with my neighbors. There is a gas station right up the street if you need snacks/restroom before its late. It is next to a main road so there is a bit of traffic noise but other than that had a nice sleep over. Thanks David!

Our stay was great!! David was a great host. Nice clean and quite camp ground, with full hook ups. David is working to expand his camp ground to accommodate more camp sites. Would definitely recommend if your in the area.

If you have an rv and are just looking for a place to park that has hook ups and is close to Congaree National Park, this is the place for you.
I would not recommend if you have to use the outdoor facilities, but otherwise. David was very helpful and communicative.

A perfect spot near Congaree!
David was an amazing and super communicative host. He checked in before our arrival and greeted us in person to help us get settled. We are traveling with an off-road trailer and roof-top tent and have our own toilet/portable shower/hot water/jerry cans, etc so we did not need the RV hook ups and were therefore able to camp closer to the tree line and feel a bit more secluded. We were there only a short time as we were in the vicinity just to check out Congaree National Park. It was perfect for that. From David we also go a bit of the area's and his family's history (integrally linked) and also a sense of his great vision for his property. A wonderful stay all around.

Kind host!
Couldn’t ask for a nicer host. David met us at the site and made sure we knew what was available and to ask questions if we needed anything. I would note this site is probably best for RVs and it seems like that is what the campsite is being converted into. Tent camping was a little difficult since the campsite is located at a well travelled intersection and there was broken glass everywhere.

Simple campsite spot owned/managed by a friendly host. The road is in view but the road and area was pretty quiet at night. There is an option for water and electric hookup plus sewer, and our 30 foot class A motorhome fit fine. A picnic table and fire pit area is also nearby. We weren't sure exactly where to park when we arrived, but he answered the phone quickly and let us know what spot to pull into. The site is about 20-25 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from the national park.
