There is also a lot of wildlife such as:

I wonder if when standing on the sprawling in upstate South Carolina, just a short hour trip from Greenville, Ed and Kitty Land heard a small still voice say, “if you build it, they will come.” While there isn't a baseball field on the property, that's about all that is lacking. Chattooga Belle Farm began as an event building set on acres with a small seasonal retail store. Soon people found their way to the soon-to-be full-fledged farm and they felt it; that feeling that you've found a very special place. Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another.
Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. The farm also grows exotic fruits like persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more!
The landscape is picturesque and the mountain views are truly breathtaking in every direction. The farm hosts farm to table dinners that sell out year after year. Their U-Pick fruit opportunities evolve throughout the season with something always coming in from early summer through fall. A list of available fruit is updated often on their website, upcoming events and information about cabin rentals on Horseshoe Lake.
The recent addition of a distillery on the farm means the fruit is grown, fermented, distilled and bottled on the farm. The distillery is open year round Monday – Saturday. ged in oak barrels and aged to produce some of the finest liquors made in these mountains.
The farm store is complete with fresh produce (in season), canned jams, jellies and bottled ciders. Grass-fed, natural, antibiotic-free Black Angus beef is sold in the store. The cattle are raised on pasture which produces some of the healthiest beef you can buy. Using only natural, humane and environmentally sustainable practices, the Lands and their staff raise beef as nature intended. Bringing the best to your family has never been easier.
Belle's Bistro at Chattooga Belle Farm serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and soups made with the freshest ingredients possible. The bistro is open for lunch Tuesday – Sunday from April – October. Their menu includes Certified South Carolina Grown food which makes for an outstanding menu, also which can be viewed on chattoogabellefarm.com.
When it comes to weddings, Chattooga Belle Farm has it all! With all-inclusive packages that offer rental items, catering, a wedding coordinator, photographer, flowers, music, bar service and even the wedding cake. We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling Neal creek, or rent our private covered camper located on the horse farm. Build a nice fire in the fire pits. The firewood is provided, just bring your fire starter.
The Neal Creek campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites.
The Back Forty Camping is semi-wooded area with plenty of privacy!
View the stars at night, relax during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85.
Local attractions: Biking, Hiking, Climbing and Horse trails - Kings Mtn National Park, Kings Mtn State Park, Crowder's Mtn State Park, Overmountain Victory Trail Segment - Lake Whelchel.

Fishing and Tent Camping on a beautiful privately owned naturally spring feed 2.5 Acre pond. Pond fully stocked with Catfish, Yellow Carp, Buffalo Carp, Bass, and Brim. We do allow eating size catfish under 5lbs to be taken from lake. Large catfish and all other types of fish are catch and release only. No fishing license required. Typically caught fish weigh in at 20lbs plus. Some catfish as large as 80lbs. Enjoy peacefully fishing all night with your friends and family on a lighted fully stocked pond. Each campsite has its own fire pit so you are welcome to bring firewood and enjoy cooking out or having smores by the fire.

It is a train lover's dream because we are close to the tracks and enjoy watching the train come and go so much so that the conductor toots and waves to us!! The Santee State Park has many water activities, picnic areas, and hiking trails. There are several golf courses nearby, and a local restaurant/bar within walking distance which often offers trivia, karaoke, pool tables, and live music. Too Many Oaks is a perfect mix of nice and quiet but still close to town. Also just in Synchronous fireflies, which are fireflies that gather and flash their lights at the same time as part of a mating ritual, are expected to light up the Congaree National Park in May. Check with the park for details.

The campsites were very spacious, remote and very well kept. Each site had a grill,picnic table, swing and bundles of firewood were provided. The creek behind our site was very peaceful. Sites were very easy to get to as well. We would definitely recommend and or use again if we are traveling down that way again.

This was a nice, quiet camping spot right by the water, great for fishing! Just be aware that bottom fishing isn't ideal due to snags, and we didn't catch much. Paddleboarding isn't an option here, you'd need to drive elsewhere for that, but kayaking looks like a good choice! 🏕️🎣🛶 #Camping #Fishing #Kayaking

Beautiful, small and remote, directions easy to follow and welcoming host, James. Small town-Saluda Creek, with Food Lion Supermarket and other stores and car wash close by. The facilities (single stall toilet and shower in separate buildings) provided were exceptionally clean, charming and unique with air and heat. History given for some sites as to what was previously located there etc. Short walk to creek area. Price was excellent. Will definitely return!

Nice campsite. Set up next to the creek. Pretty quiet even considering the airport nearby. Trees provide a lot of shade. If I were to suggest anything it would be a small dock of some kind to make access to the creek easier. When the tide goes out the mud made it hard to climb back up with my kayak. Besides that I had a good time, would definitely come back.

The site was nice. Many other campers the time that I was there. They were far enough away that no one bothered each other. I have been to state parks that were cramped in next to each other with hardly any privacy. Fair warning. Bring bug screens. Like if you have a tent with a screened front room, use that to cook in. I was there during the summer and the bugs were a lot. Not even the kind that bite either. It's the kind that just want to be your friend and will not leave you alone when being swatted at. Also wear shoes. I would not ever walk around barefoot as this is an active farm and the evidence is all over the ground. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. I only wish the sign at the front gate was a little more obvious as I was not sure if I was entering someone elses private property or not.
