Learn more about this land: Fishing and Tent Camping on a beautiful privately owned naturally spring feed 2.5 Acre pond. Pond fully stocked with Catfish, Yellow Carp, Buffalo Carp, Bass, and Brim. We do allow eating size catfish under 5lbs to be taken from lake. Large catfish and all other types of fish are catch and release only. No fishing license required. Typically caught fish weigh in at 20lbs plus. Some catfish as large as 80lbs. Enjoy peacefully fishing all night with your friends and family on a lighted fully stocked pond. Each campsite has its own fire pit so you are welcome to bring firewood and enjoy cooking out or having smores by the fire. Newly added Fall of 2024 Double seated Tall Adirondack Chairs with Umbrellas to each camping site. Note: Due to sites being located directly on pond, some areas are 15ft deep and not recommend suitable for small children. Site Descriptions : please note the string lights are bright LEDs and have to stay on through out the night to ensure every one’s safety and enjoyment. We’ve stayed here a few times to do some overnight fishing and we leave happy every time! Stephanie is always quick to respond if we need anything and we haven’t had a night without a catch yet!

We absolutely loved our time! The owner Stephanie is so awesome and very fun! If you are into fishing, this IS the place! After midnight the campers have the place to themselves! I caught a 30lb catfish on night 1! She has tons of big fish and the atmosphere is perfect! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time the bathroom was unique and clean. There was chairs and umbrellas on every site. Such a beautiful place if you love rough camping and fishing all night. Stephanie was lovely and keeps it all updated will most definitely be back. And they have fire pit and grills over all just amazing

Stephanie is such a wonderful host! There was a warm friendly atmosphere with all the regular fishers at the pond. My fiancé had some great catches! The bathroom was a great asset, and the bait shop had lots of goodies. We will happily be back!

Very nice place, and the host is so nice and accommodating. Shaded areas to sit under an umbrella, staying up all night fishing (no license), wood available, and a flushing toliet. I caught 2 very big catfish, my wife got 4 smaller ones. I really need a break from life and all the anxiety. It felt like home, so peaceful, so if your ever in the area and just need a place to rest I'd recommend stopping by here.

Host Stephanie is the most delightful person ever. Caring for her property with a passion and she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and got us all sorted out with tips etc. Fishing was great. We caught 4 catfish over 14 LBS and 4 carp over 10 LBS and a number of smaller ones. The place is well lit for night fishing and several locals came at sundown to enjoy the place. The single toilet was clean and fresh water is available at the tackle shop. Tackle shop is stocked with a few necessities that is needed at this private pond. There was enough bait inside and outside (pay on honor system ) and have a few variations but lack nothing to have a memorable experience. We will definitely be back some time soon.

The day started out great! Then a birthday party took place and we had a horrible time unfortunately. Children kept running onto our lot, running into our fishing poles. We couldn't have a single minute to enjoy being there and fishing. We paid to spend the night to camp but ended up leaving at 10pm because the birthday was never ending. I'm sure it would have been great otherwise.

We stayed here for 2 nights while taking a course nearby in Easley. Stephanie was super sweet and accommodating, my daughter and I had so much fun. We met a local fishing "Rusty" (who was super nice) he helped my daughter rig up her pole and she caught lots of fish. Clean bathroom, great little store with bait, snacks and all the little necessities. Awesome people, good times!

Amazing host! We had a wonderful stay! Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! It was Thanksgiving week and she made us a plate full of yummy food and sweets and brought it to us! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Fishing, a nice fire, and a wonderful camping spot in our rv made for a much needed relaxed holiday for us. Thank you again Stephanie!

Great weekend of camping and fishing! Descriptions of the property and sites are on point. I camped at site 8. Great little spot pond side with a firepit, set off by itself. I could pull my truck up. Stephanie is super responsive- she answered all my pre-trip and while I was there messages quickly. I arrived Friday evening and was greeted by Stephanie who is an amazing hostess! Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. She showed me where I could find everything I might need- bait, firewood, snacks, bathroom. Pointed out my campsite and how to get there. After running out of firewood on Saturday, Stephanie had firewood delivered to my site, which was much appreciated! I was struck by how clean the property is! No trash, empty bait cups, fishing line- not even a cigarette butt! If you bank/pier fish you know how people can be with their trash. I can't think of one minus for this property nor Stephanie. I will be returning!

Nice place! Hard to tell quality of fishing because we went in a cold month. We did catch one large cat in the middle of the night. The concession was out of wood and worms, kind of a bummer but all good. Was a good time.

My husband and I had the most amazing time camping at Fishing in the Dark!!! Stephanie is so welcoming and personable! We enjoyed getting to meet her and the grandkids (which are just too cute)! Stephanie greeted us right away and upgraded our tent site not just once, but twice! She’s so hospitable that she gave my husband some guidance on fishing, offered us chocolate and marshmallows to make s’mores, and was even kind enough to loan us her fishing rod holders. Yes, you do need them and a net too! There are some behemoths in their lake! The directions to their campground were very clear and easy to follow! The bathroom has a real toilet (which was a nice surprise for a city girl like me). Stephanie has chicken livers, night crawlers, and firewood for sale located near the fishing shack and takes cash, Venmo, and CashApp which makes it super convenient! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back!!! Thank you so much Stephanie for such a wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fishing in the Dark!

Had a great time here and Stephanie was great! She really took care of me after a late booking and I really enjoyed chatting with her. The location was beautiful and I caught a big catfish!
